Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 186: Chapter 186 As expected of a student brought up by Naruto

As expected of a student brought up by Naruto, his aesthetic sense was indeed excellent.

Afterward, the two didn’t chat much. Seeing Kakashi’s embarrassing state, Kano decided to separate them first. She didn’t bother with Kakashi and instead took Mei Terumī to the prepared room to rest.

As the matchmaker, Kano naturally prioritized the guest. She went to chat with Mei Terumī first to ask about her initial impressions. Accompanying her to Mei Terumī’s room were the Konohamaru trio.

”How was it, Big Sister? My method was pretty good, right! This look had Kakashi-sensei completely captivated!”

Konohamaru proudly pointed his thumb at himself, while Mei Terumī was still blushing a little.

”Alright, Konohamaru, your methods can only be used occasionally. To truly warm up the relationship between the two, we’ll need something else.”

”konoha songstress, I’m really troubling you this time. I will do my best for this blind date. Also, this is the performance fee prepared for you, as well as a list of various items for your performance. Let me know if you need anything else, and I will send word back to prepare it.”

”Are you saying you’ve already arranged my concert? Didn’t I say there was no need to go to such expense? We would have brought our own equipment.”

”Business is business. We also intend to profit from this concert; if we don’t contribute anything, it wouldn’t look good for our reputation.”

The reason it took so long for Mei Terumī to come to Konoha was that the Hidden Mist Village was building a performance stage for Kano. They planned to build a massive open-air venue! (Because they couldn’t afford to build an indoor one.)

They were striving to make back a year’s worth of losses in a single concert!

They also conducted large-scale publicity, spreading it overwhelmingly across the Five Great Nations like the Land of Lightning and the Land of Fire, as well as smaller countries. They aimed to attract all the wealthy people to the Land of Water and had arranged special transport routes for this concert.

It wasn’t just concert tickets; there were accommodations, food, and local specialties along the way... In short, they wanted to make a huge profit this time!

Therefore, even though Kano said she would cover the entire cost, the Land of Water wouldn’t agree. The Daimyo of the Land of Water also loved Kano’s songs very much, and he had contributed a significant amount of money for this concert.

”Then I will shamelessly reap the benefits.”

”Not at all, your performance is the most arduous part.”

Kano accepted the money and the list from Mei Terumī, then began to discuss Kakashi with her.

Overall, Mei Terumī was able to accept Kakashi; she wouldn’t be opposed to actually getting married.

After saying goodbye to Mei Terumī, Kano didn’t go to find Kakashi; after all, she could probably guess everything he wanted to say. However, Kakashi’s opinion wasn’t important; when he grew up, he would definitely understand the good intentions of his mentor.

At this moment, Kakashi was also hesitating about whether or not to accept this blind date.

”Obito, do you think I should agree?”

Standing in front of the memorial stone, Kakashi muttered to himself.

Meanwhile, Obito was inside the Akatsuki Organization.

”Haven’t you woken him up yet?”

Konan was a bit anxious. When she returned, she had only focused on waking up the members of the Akatsuki Organization and had forgotten there was an intern. It had been three days before Deidara finally remembered him.

Everyone tried to release the genjutsu on him together, but it was useless. There was no other way; they had to ask Itachi to use his Mangekyo Sharingan.

”It’s no use. He is trapped too deeply in the genjutsu, or rather, his will is too firm; he is refusing to come out himself.”

Konan couldn’t hold it together anymore. Why did this intern Tobi, who looked so unserious, have such strong willpower? Was he the kind of ruthless person who could swallow all nine Tailed Beasts and still hold on without losing control?

”Since even you can’t do it, we can only go find the Leader.”

Nagato had the Rinnegan; he should be able to undo this genjutsu.
