Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 173: Chapter 173 I didn’t expect that among the three children

Afterward, there was Yun, who was delayed in returning. Just as Kano was considering whether to go find her, the little girl finally returned.

In her hands, besides the retrieved traps, there was also something caught in a trap...

A little...

!!!!

Holy crap, she could even catch a classmate?

I didn’t expect that among the three children, you are the real hunter.

”Sorry Teacher, I caused trouble...”

Yang Hui lowered her head, not daring to look up at Kano.

Along with the captured child came her captain—Sakura.

”Kano, sorry. My team member stepped into your trap.”

”No, no, no, we are the ones who should apologize. Let’s treat the child’s wound first. Sakura, come help me.”

”Okay.”

Kano brought the injured child onto the vehicle; fortunately, when she built the car, she had modeled it after the large vehicle from the Chunin Exams. Even with the injured child lying down, the others had enough space to sit.

”The others can watch how to perform emergency wound treatment if someone gets injured.”

”Bear with it, it’s going to hurt a little.”

Sakura cooperated with Kano to pull out the Kunai that had pierced the trap, and cleaned the wound.

”Did you learn it?”

Kano asked the five children around her—Sakura’s other two team members had also followed.

”We learned it.”

Sakura treated it very carefully, and Kano liked her meticulous personality. However, the treatment wasn’t finished yet; Kano had to continue.

She raised her hand, and green light shone from her palm.

”Everyone watch closely. This is the Mystical Palm Technique; it can quickly heal wounds.”

Then she turned her head to speak to the injured child.

”It’s going to hurt a little, bear with it.”

Sakura, who was helping, felt puzzled. Why would the Mystical Palm Technique hurt? As a result, the tough injured child, who didn’t cry when the Kunai pierced her lower leg, couldn’t hold back her tears during the Mystical Palm Technique treatment.

Kano had intentionally controlled it, but it still caused some pain. There was no other way; she could only whistle a lullaby to alleviate the pain.

After the treatment ended, Kano also asked about the sequence of events. It turned out that Sakura was also leading poor students, so Sakura chose a method similar to Kano’s: not competing for first place, but teaching the children knowledge along the way. Along the way, her team members had learned a lot of knowledge about plants and animals—after all, Sakura was a straight-A student.

The treatment ended, and Kano and Sakura picked herbs together, planning to apply them to the location of the original wound and then wrap it with bandages, which would be beneficial for bone healing.

The other children were in the car taking care of the injured person.

Sakura watched Kano silently. She had something she wanted to say to her, but she didn’t know how to bring it up; usually, she couldn’t see Kano much.

She would only occasionally talk about Kano when chatting with Ino, and every time she chatted with her teammate Karin, she could bring up Kano.

This time, having the opportunity to be alone with Kano, she wanted to ask Kano to help her, but precisely because they were classmates from the same year, this matter was a bit hard to bring up.

She had experienced losing teammates, performing missions alone, and meeting new teammates. Now, Sakura had much less dependency compared to the original work. She didn’t have Sasuke or Naruto to rely on. Sometimes she would even feel guilty, that she wasn’t strong enough and hadn’t been able to protect her teammates during the Chunin Exams.

She wanted to become stronger, but her Chakra amount was really not much to look at, and she didn’t have any talent for Taijutsu. Her instructor told her that her Chakra control was exceptionally strong and she had high talent for Genjutsu.

It was just that her teacher wasn’t good at Genjutsu and couldn’t teach her anything. However, the teacher had also asked Kurenai Yuhi to teach Sakura some Genjutsu.

Later, she wanted to learn the Mystical Palm Technique. She heard from Ino that she was also following the Fifth Generation Hokage to learn. She asked Ino to help introduce her. For this matter, she had even had another argument with Ino. However, Ino still helped and took Sakura to see Tsunade.

But Tsunade refused; she had already taught two disciples and couldn’t handle teaching any more. However, she had also learned about Sakura; she was a quite steady child with no special background, relying entirely on her own efforts to have the skills she had now.

”If it’s Genjutsu, I think that besides the Uchiha’s Sharingan, Kano’s Genjutsu is the most powerful. And she also knows the Mystical Palm Technique. Go ask her to teach you. I believe she will definitely agree to teach you Genjutsu and the Mystical Palm Technique. If she refuses, just say I told you to come, and she will agree.”

Added with the praise for Kano from Ino and Karin, Sakura finally made up her mind to ask Kano for advice. For this, she was even willing to become Kano’s disciple.

”Kano, I want to be—”

Before she could finish speaking, a figure wearing a red cloud robe appeared in front of Sakura and Kano.
