Wilderness Survival with Druid System

Chapter 447: Chapter 116: New System Feature—Experience

Chen Wen can understand.

After all, the ones who can become the president and vice president are mostly older.

Wilderness survival is quite an extreme sport that tests both physical and mental limits.

Generally, when you’re around forty, it’s very difficult to complete this high-intensity survival.

However, Adam didn’t know much, like the rules and locations; he only knew trivial things.

After going back, I’ll ask Mr. Liu.

Chen Wen thought.

After the two talked for a while about living alone in the wilderness.

The program crew finally arrived.

The staff responsible for picking up them drove a jeep, followed by three jeeps with iron cages.

”You guys go up first.”

Chen Wen pointed to his three tamed beasts and said, ”I’ll place them on the vehicle first, then join you back.”

Adam nodded.

Having experienced this before, he pulled Rock, who was eager to watch, onto the vehicle.

After the two and the staff had dispersed, Chen Wen approached the three animals.

”Next, I will be leaving.”

Chen Wen carefully began speaking, then said, ”Since you’re leaving with me, you’re going to experience some possibly uncomfortable things. Let me explain them to you carefully.”

Based on the past experiences of the Canadian lynxes, Chen Wen told the three animals what might happen next.

The three animals were not averse to injections and examinations.

Leopard the First naturally felt the same.

Therefore, after a brief discussion.

Chen Wen bid farewell to the three animals: ”See you later, I’ll take you to a very comfortable place then.”

The hippopotamus hummed: ”As long as there’s water.”

”There’s sure to be water, white mountains and black waters.”

Remembering Jiang Xue’s zoo in the northeast and the special animals temporarily residing there.

Chen Wen couldn’t help but reminisce about his days working at the zoo.

Days might become lonely over time, but for Chen Wen, that job, aside from not being able to cultivate, was quite comfortable!

The hippopotamus listened to Chen Wen’s words, feeling puzzled.

White mountains and black waters?

How could mountains be white?

How could waters be black?

Aren’t they supposed to be yellow, with the water occasionally turning gray-blue?

Anyway, it was going to a completely unfamiliar place.

The hippopotamus turned its head, taking a last look at the Kuanduo River where it had survived, then plodded towards the large jeep.

Leopard the Second looked at Chen Wen seriously at this moment and said: ”Don’t lie to us! There must be food, and shelter! The place should be like the woods over there!”

”I promise I won’t lie to you!”

Chen Wen replied equally seriously.

Leopard the Second was immediately relieved, saying to Chen Wen: ”That’s good.”

After speaking, Leopard the Second roared twice at Leopard the First, and the two leopards also boarded the vehicle under the wary gaze of the staff.

After the animals boarded, Chen Wen also got into the jeep.

”Time to go back!”

With a bang, Chen Wen closed the car door, and the group marched vigorously away from the Kuanduo River where they survived for nearly a month.

...

In the vehicle.

Adam and Rock were exhausted, and soon fell asleep with their eyes closed.

Not wanting to disturb them, Chen Wen closed his eyes and began summarizing this survival journey.

[This wilderness cultivation is over, proceeding with cultivation summary, calculating Inheritance Points]

[Points of Inheritance gained this time: 436 points, Inheritance Points have been issued]

[Summary Complete]

...

This time the Druid system did not upgrade.

But to Chen Wen’s surprise, the system had a new function added.

[Current animal friends providing a total of nine entries, meeting self-limit condition]

[Self-limit: During each survival, you can choose to actively self-restrict, selecting up to five animal friends’ entries. When self-limit survival is completed, experience gained from each survival doubles, and a random entry provided by animal friends this time is upgraded one level. If all are gold entries, they are converted to experience]

This function...

Chen Wen paused.

Doubling experience is really tempting.

The system now should not exceed 70% development, possibly even less.

This is Chen Wen’s estimate, as currently he is just a Junior Druid.

There are at least intermediate and advanced levels next.

But substantial experience is needed for upgrading, and there’s no other way to gain experience.

Chen Wen can also feel that after each upgrade, the next upgrade requires more experience.

Therefore, how to raise levels is also something Chen Wen needs to consider.

Now with this [self-limit] feature, Chen Wen feels it is feasible.

Each time, he brings many friend entries, but quite a few selected entries rarely get used.

Such as [Feather], [Tracking], [Wings (Golden Eagle)] these three.

If he brings fewer, experience will double and there’s a chance to level up entries.

Chen Wen feels it’s worthwhile.

The key is that the decision power for this function is in his hands, and it doesn’t limit activating entries by spending points.

If it’s low-stress survival, considering the self-limit function is totally possible.

Accelerating experience gain.

Yes, very satisfactory!

Chen Wen is quite pleased, continuing to look at the main panel.

...

[Heritage Receiver: Chen Wen]

[Level: Junior Druid (Now you can become a matured Druid, heading to nature for solitary cultivation)]

[Current experience: 20%]

[Inheritance Points: 493 (Inheritance Points can activate entries in the entry library during the next cultivation)]

[Current functions: Extract or Plunder, Amicability, Whisper, Communicate, Animal Doctor, Lucky Charm, Communication, Tree Speaker, Self-limit]

[Current entry acquisition probability: White (5%), Green (15%), Blue (40%), Purple (30%), Gold (10%)]

[Entries activated: All entries in entry library (default activation for non-wilderness cultivation stage)]

Besides the panel now showing experience display, there are not many other changes.

However, compared to his first survival, Chen Wen feels his combat power has multiplied several times.

This path of hardships really hasn’t been in vain!
