Chapter 1011: Chapter 13: Two Reckless Fighters

In the slightly dim first floor of the high tower, lightning illuminated everything in blue and white.

Squish, squish...

The sound of blades slashing flesh resounded repeatedly. One samurai after another was slaughtered by Sasuke. A large group of armored samurai surrounded Sasuke from all directions.

”Uchiha Sasuke is here, hurry! Capture him alive!”

A samurai leader shouted. Although more than a dozen samurai had already died by Sasuke’s sword, they had to capture him alive. This was the order given by their leader, Mikuma.

Mikuma’s decision was wise. Sasuke had kidnapped the Raikage’s brother, Killer Bee, and now the Raikage was on the top floor of the tower. If the Raikage were not present, the samurai would not hold back and would try to kill Sasuke with full force. But now, if they capture Sasuke alive, they might force information about Killer Bee from him.

Politically and morally, the samurai of the Iron Country couldn’t kill Sasuke now; capturing him alive was the best option, as it was a political issue.

However, several dozen samurai couldn’t capture Sasuke, and because of the order to capture him alive, they suffered heavy casualties.

Sasuke waved his long knife, imbued with Thunder Attribute Chakra. His expression was ice-cold, and his Three-hooked Sharingan eyes were filled with rage.

Although Sasuke was young and easy to manipulate, he wasn’t foolish. The samurai directly called out his name, and even before he was exposed, these samurai had gathered. He vaguely overheard that the samurai were looking for him.

Previously, Bai Jue had disappeared, and given the current situation, Sasuke immediately deduced that Bai Jue had betrayed him. Although he didn’t know why Bai Jue did this, the members of the Akatsuki Organization didn’t have normal mindsets.

Betrayed, Sasuke was furious. He didn’t show his anger on his face, but instead in his attacks, delivering fatal blows to the samurai with each slash.

In the past, although Sasuke was rebellious, he didn’t kill easily and often spared his enemies. But after learning the truth about Itachi, his resolve began to waver, and coupled with today’s betrayal, he began to go on a killing spree.

With a swish—

Sasuke’s Grass Pheasant Sword pierced through a samurai’s throat while dodging an incoming katana. He elbowed a samurai at the back of the head with his Chakra-covered elbow.

Bang!

The samurai, struck by the elbow, flew several meters and landed face down on the ground, twitching a few times before falling silent. Although his head was protected by a metal helmet, his neck had been broken.

”Sasuke, what are you doing?”

Suigetsu, hiding on a high stone platform, squinted his eyes. Sasuke had repeatedly told him not to kill easily, yet now Sasuke was on a killing spree.

”I’ll go help.”

Jugo stood up, almost fanatically loyal to Sasuke due to a past promise.

Although Jugo’s strength didn’t reach Shadow Level, he wasn’t weak. Orochimaru had once developed a curse mark technique that, when activated, temporarily enhanced the physical and Chakra attributes, and Jugo was the origin of this curse mark technology, the original bearer of the curse mark.

In essence, the so-called curse mark technique was a method of using natural energy. Some also referred to natural energy as fairy power. After Jugo absorbed natural energy, his body would undergo significant changes, his Chakra level would increase dramatically, and his body would harden, becoming sage-like.

Jugo’s sage transformation was the most rudimentary form of sage transformation. If he only transformed a part of his body, it wouldn’t be a big burden, but if he transformed entirely, he wouldn’t be able to restrain his urge to kill, becoming aggressive and bloodthirsty.

The right side of Jugo’s body turned fiery red as if it were on a hot iron, and soon the red receded. His right arm morphed into a gray-black claw, his right cheek was covered in gray patterns, and his right pupil turned yellow.

After half-sage transformation, Jugo leaped down from the stone platform, charging into the samurai ranks in a few steps. A heavy arm blade grew on his right arm; without exerting visible force, the samurai slashed by the arm blade spewed blood and were flung far away.

Jugo quickly stood in front of Sasuke, who remained silent.

”This appears to be quite interesting.”

Su Xiao sat cross-legged at the highest point of the first floor, a rocky lookout built against the wall, at least twenty meters above ground.

”The Libra Clan’s special constitution is also the most rudimentary use of natural energy.”

Obito spoke with some disdain, knowing something about natural energy.

”Woof.”

Bubu Wang, beside Su Xiao, barked, looking up at the ceiling.

”They’re coming.”

Su Xiao immediately understood Bubu Wang’s meaning and also looked at the ceiling.

Boom!

A dull crash came from above, sending a tremor through the entire tower.

Large pieces of rubble and dust cascaded down, and amidst the massive stones, three figures were faintly visible.

As the dust settled, three figures appeared in Sasuke and Jugo’s line of sight.

Leading was a burly man in a white robe, who tore it off, revealing a light blue Chakra covering him. This was Thunder Attribute Chakra, and two energy horns appeared on his shoulders.

The newcomers were the Raikage and his guards. Upon hearing of Sasuke’s presence in the tower, the Raikage left the ongoing Five Shadows meeting, leaving behind Mikuma with an embarrassed expression.

The Iron Country was respectably fair to the Hidden Cloud Village, yet the Hidden Cloud trampled on that goodwill as the Raikage’s actions essentially spat on that goodwill.

Though the Iron Country was their realm, and even if Ai was the Raikage, he couldn’t recklessly search the tower. Yet, Raikage Ai did exactly that, thoroughly.

As the Raikage appeared, the samurai around Sasuke began to retreat. They received orders not to aid the other side unless the Raikage died within Iron Country.

The audacity of ignoring the goodwill extended, a hallmark of the Hidden Cloud’s external management, was evident in the Raikage calling the Five Shadows Summit merely to assign blame.

”Kid, let me show you the terror of the Raikage’s wrath!”

With a roar, the Raikage’s thunder armor activated, enhancing its activity. Arcs of lightning surged across his body.

No doubt, the Raikage in this state was terrifying. His thunder armor shot outward, causing surrounding debris to scatter.

”Brute,”

Su Xiao remarked about the Raikage. If any of the five shadows were easiest to deal with, it was certainly the Raikage. Even if his power ranked in the top three among them, he was too quick to anger and arrogant. Even when needing others, he maintained a high attitude.

Sasuke, armed with his thunder blade, glanced at the Raikage and charged forward without hesitation, as if Darui and Xi, the Raikage’s guards, didn’t exist.

”Another brute,”

Su Xiao’s words were barely spoken when a large volume of water spread across the first floor.

”Water Jutsu: Water Formation Wall.”

”Thunder Shield: Grateful Waves.”

Zzzz—

Electricity spread through the turbulent waters. Before Sasuke could reach the Raikage, he groaned in pain, somersaulting back to Jugo’s side. It was Darui’s doing; the Raikage hadn’t moved an inch.

”This seems... like an opportunity.”

After pondering briefly, Su Xiao gestured by flicking his finger, prompting A Mu to stand up.
