Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

The Galactic Empire has ushered in a massive transformation.

Accompanied by Palpatine’s declaration, the entire Galactic Empire is greatly shaken. Many races express dissatisfaction and attempt to rise in rebellion—well, this is quite normal, given that the threat of the Swarm is far away, but the Empire’s reform is very close.

However, under Palpatine’s command, the Galactic Empire has strongly suppressed these activities. On one hand, Palpatine used the reason of combating gene thieves to conduct a widespread purge of religious beliefs across all racial civilizations. On the other hand, he has started a crazy suppression.

Those who dare to rebel against the Empire are mostly planets and races located on the frontier, where the Empire’s power cannot easily project, and these areas are precisely the targets of the Taren Insect Race’s attack. So, to deal with these folks, Palpatine doesn’t hesitate to burn glass, preferring you die by my hand rather than be fed to those creatures to strengthen their forces!

Palpatine is ruthless and cunning, with his intellect intact. He not only broadcasted videos of the glass burning of those frontier planets across the web but also delivered a menacing ultimatum to other alien races—either submit or be destroyed!

After all, most of these alien races’ forces are situated outside of the Galactic Empire’s Core Zone. If you choose to resist, I could burn a few more buffer zones, making human civilization a bit safer.

Regarding this, Fang Zheng is merely watching. As Fang Zheng mentioned before, the Heavenly Dao Palace never intervenes in the internal affairs of other forces unless it involves a humanitarian disaster—hmm, humanitarianism.

Whether aliens apply to this principle requires meetings for investigation, research, and discussion before deciding.

For now, Fang Zheng focuses mainly on the Galactic Empire, assisting them in defending against the Taren Insect Race.

Of course, this is limited to the interior of the Galactic Empire.

Outside the Galactic Empire... it’s Fang Zheng’s stage.

”Master... we have reached the designated location and can launch the attack anytime...”

Mirune’s voice echoes in Fang Zheng’s mind, laden with a mix of joy, excitement, and greedy cruelty. Since learning about the presence of the Taren Insect Race from Fang Zheng, Mirune and other Insect Queens immediately identified it as a target the Swarm needed to devour and assimilate. For this, they have prepared extensively, and now, finally, it’s time for them to act.

”Attack, eliminate, devour, assimilate them!”

”Following your will, Great Master...!”

The stars begin to tremble, and then... the Swarm emerges.

Under the embrace of millions of Flying Dragons, hundreds of Leviathans slowly appear from the void. They roar, shaking their bodies, and rush toward the planet ahead.

Confronted with this sudden army, the Taren is momentarily stunned but quickly launches their offensive. Massive Taren insects rush in, but what they face is an overwhelming horde of Flying Dragons and fearless Explosive Mosquitoes.

Innumerable Explosive Mosquitoes shatter into pieces during their charging self-detonations, leaving Taren’s space fleet almost defenseless, completely destroyed after just the first wave of attacks. Immediately, the Leviathans dive into the atmosphere, countless spores shooting from their surfaces like a torrential rain directly bombarding the Taren Insect Race on the ground.

Spores whistle as they crash to the ground, creating pits everywhere, and then a tide of Jumping Bugs swarm out, screaming as they attack the enemies before them. However, Taren is not simply defenseless; Rippers mixed with Serpent Bugs quickly form an army, launching a counter-attack against the forces of Jumping Bugs and Hydralisks.

Not only that, Taren immediately gathered Ion Cannon Worms and Spore Beasts to attack the Zerg Army. Amidst roaring artillery fire, a series of explosions and flames erupted within the Zerg forces, a scene reminiscent of the previous war Taren faced against Chaos Demons.

However... it’s all meaningless.

When the artillery fire subsides, virtually unharmed Jumping Bugs and Hydralisks continue to advance, their bodies showing no signs of injury or any damage!

”Hahaha, how does it feel?”

Upon seeing this, Fang Zheng cannot help but laugh aloud. No matter how strong your Taren firepower is, in the face of vector manipulation, what can you do to me?

At present, every individual Zerg unit possesses defense capabilities equivalent to Accelerator’s. With your fragile artillery and offensive tactics, can you break through the vector manipulation shield implemented by the Hive Mind?

Oh, it seems there is a way.

Watching the Brain Bug emerge from the rear of the Taren army, Fang Zheng squinted his eyes. Since the vector manipulation’s ability must cover every unit in the Swarm, Fang Zheng naturally cannot operate a rebound shield like Accelerator in all aspects. Instead, he has only manipulated defenses against conventional physical attacks and some common energy attacks. Facing the Brain Bug’s special, psionic-like ability, Fang Zheng did not take corresponding defensive measures.

However... does that matter?

Observing the levitating Brain Bug, the Hydralisks mixed within the army raised their bodies, emitting sharp cries. Soon, green light orbs appeared around the Hydralisks, rapidly expanding, transforming into beams that shot towards the Brain Bug’s body. After barely resisting for a moment, the Brain Bug finally reached its limit, its defenses torn apart by the ”Atomic Collapse” beams, its massive body pierced and ignited, then slowly fell.

The Hydralisks themselves also burst into pieces due to exceeding the limit of using Atomic Collapse, turning into a pile of minced flesh.

But for Fang Zheng, what does losing hundreds or thousands of Hydralisks matter?

A full-force Atomic Collapse strike is comparable to a warship’s main cannon, and sacrificing a Hydralisk for such an attack is an absolute win, right?

In front of the superpower mode Swarm, Taren has no advantage at all. Comparing numbers, the Swarm has no fear. Comparing quality, you cannot even bite through the vector manipulated Jumping Bug shell, so how do you transform biomass?

Not to mention, as the Swarm advances, the Fungal Carpet rapidly spreads.

The purple Fungal Carpet covers the entire land, digesting and decomposing all of Taren’s corpses. Taren’s tentacles, used for absorbing planetary matter, are seized by the Swarm’s worker bees. They swing their pincers like trimming tree branches, cutting off the tentacles spiraling on the ground, then returning them for energy transformation. Meanwhile, the worker bees swiftly start digging into the ground, mining all the ore they can find.

When the Taren’s Hive Mind realizes this, it first feels shocked, then immediately turns to anger!

Peers are rivals, and... the biomass that I painstakingly collected is not meant for your benefit!!

The psychic fluctuations swiftly spread, and soon, the surrounding planets’ Taren army quickly mobilized, flying towards this side. However, Fang Zheng naturally would not give Taren a chance to resist. He simultaneously commanded the Swarm to swiftly occupy the entire planet while unleashing psionic energy to open a passage, directly teleporting hundreds of Swarm army units through the psionically created wormholes to the front line.

Since we have been discovered, there’s nothing left to say. Let’s go to all-out war!

If you pull the perspective far enough beyond the star system, you can see in the void, the massive tentacles formed by the Taren Swarm slowly reaching out towards the Milky Way, like a gigantic monster composed of countless biological cells, eager to devour everything to sustain its existence.

And amidst that, the bright red colors burn and spread like wildfire. The battle between the Swarm and Taren fully unfolds, red clashes with pitch black, almost filling the universe before one’s eyes. But one can clearly see, the red spreading while the pitch black tentacles step by step disintegrate, collapse.

The Brain Bug’s body was dragged away by worker bees, disassembled, melted, analyzed, integrating its genes into the King Worm, enhancing the King Worm’s strength, further strengthening the Swarm’s psychic network, thus once again augmenting vector manipulation and Atomic Collapse abilities.

The Tyrant and Insect Hive Lord were torn, trampled, and smashed into bloody, muddy fragments by the Thunder Beast. The massive Digging Python and Burrower Bug entangled together, wildly rolling on the ground, even causing the mountains to crack and shatter. The Flying Dragons spew flames at the Gargoyle and Celestial Demon, occasionally colliding together, then tearing, biting, and spinning as they plummet to the ground.

Meanwhile, in space, Taren’s fleet desperately launched an all-out attack on the Leviathan, but was soon completely eliminated by the overwhelming swarm of Explosive Mosquitoes. The few remaining escapees did not evade the Leviathan’s bursting atomic beam attack. Compared to the Hydralisk, the Leviathan’s enormous size clearly makes it more suited to use ”Atomic Collapse” ability.

On the ground, the Swarm similarly moves forward triumphantly.

In front of the Poison Bug’s lightning speed, Spore Mines are like worn-out old cars. Their swaying bodies have not even had time to reach their destination when they see the green Invincible Fire Wheel roll out of the Swarm, charging into the Taren army and triggering a series of explosions—including the self-detonation of the Spore Mines themselves due to the impact.

The enormous Thunder Beast charges forward under the endless artillery fire of Cannon Beast and Spore Beast, crushing everything that dares to stand in its path with its sharp tusks and massive body. The Jumping Bugs scream as they transform into a tidal wave, completely submerging the arrogant charging Ripping Worm along with its companions.

The flames are spreading, the bright red world gradually eroding the dark tentacles. This is a war filled with death, as you look up at the planet, seeing the star system dyed entirely in bright red. The Swarm’s cold-blooded slaughter intertwines with Taren’s frantic assault, forming an almost ceaseless death song.

Meanwhile, the battle continues.
