Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Under the guidance of the black cloaks, Yachiyo, Kohin, and Red Ponytail arrived at an ancient pit. They weren’t sure what it was originally for, but it appeared to have been abandoned. Upon entering, they quickly spotted two figures at the passage’s end.

They were also Magical Girls, and judging by their nearly identical appearances, they were sisters, both with red hair and wearing white cloaks. At this moment, the two girls stood at the entrance, smiling at the group.

”Hello, nice to meet you for the first time.”

”I am the Wings of Margis, White Wing, Amatsu Tsukiyoru.”

”I am the Wings of Margis, White Wing, Amatsu Tsukisaki.”

”So, are you the leaders of this organization?”

Yachiyo stared at them, questioning, while the two shook their heads.

”No, though our rank is indeed higher than the Black Wing, we are merely Wings of Margis, a group assisting the three Masters of Margis in achieving their goals.”

”So Margis’s goal is to save all Magical Girls, right?”

Red Ponytail frowned and asked.

”That’s right, it’s the noble ideal of the three Masters, and we are fighting for it... So, if you are willing to accept, could you help us protect the rumors? Only by killing all the Witches can the Redemption of the Magical Girls be realized, and we need your support for this.”

As one of them spoke, the twins extended their hands to the group.

But......

”I refuse.”

Red Ponytail coldly replied, and upon hearing her answer, Yachiyo, Kohin, Tsuruno, Felicia, and the twins were all taken aback.

”Why?”

”Because your words have always been ambiguous.”

Red Ponytail crossed her arms, staring at the twins.

”You say the three Masters of Margis have a noble ideal of saving Magical Girls—fine, taking a step back, ideals are just ideals, so how do you intend to realize them? I don’t know, I’m not clear, and you don’t seem willing to say. But from your previous answers, I am very clear that to save Magical Girls, these rumors must be protected, yet.....!”

Saying this, Red Ponytail raised her hand, and soon, the Pitch Black Greatsword appeared from her hand again.

”You’re not unaware of what these rumors have done outside, right? Breakup Stairs, Word Spirit Shrine, and then this lucky water... If you intend to achieve your goals through the sacrifice of ordinary people, then sorry, I’ve only got one choice.”

As she spoke, Red Ponytail gripped the Pitch Black Greatsword tightly and swung it down fiercely.

”And that’s to take you down! Completely eradicate Margis!”

”You......”

Sensing the chill from the Pitch Black Greatsword, the twins’ faces changed immediately, and at this point, Yachiyo, Kohin, and Tsuruno reacted as well.

”That’s right, no matter what you want to do, the previous rumors involved so many people. Can you guarantee these rumors aren’t harmful at all?”

”We’re not doing this for everyone.”

At this moment, the twins’ expressions also slightly changed.

”We just want to save Magical Girls, that’s all, don’t you think it’s unfair? We sacrifice everything for a wish, protecting those who know nothing about it. But what’s the result? Why must we suffer such a fate? Those we saved from the Witches aren’t grateful to us at all, some don’t even know we exist, so what are we fighting for? In that case, let them support the liberation of us Magical Girls in their own way, isn’t that a beautiful thing?”

”What nonsense are you talking about, what kind of fate do Magical Girls have?”

Felicia frowned in confusion, asking with puzzlement, and Tsuruno also showed a bewildered expression, while only Kohin seemed to have realized something, glancing worriedly at Yachiyo, who said nothing.

”In any case, since you’ve made your decision, there’s no other way.”

Soon, the twins exchanged a glance, then one of them took out a green cube and tossed it into the air. In the next moment, the surroundings instantly changed, transforming into a scene resembling a Roman Colosseum. What was even more shocking was that, in the gaps of the walls around the Colosseum, Witches were sealed!

”Witches? Are these all Witches?!”

Kohin widened her eyes in shock, looking at the Witches around her, almost unable to believe her eyes. Meanwhile, Felicia was also staring hard ahead, shouting loudly.

”What’s going on? Why do you have so many Witches!”

However, the twins obviously had no intention of answering Felicia’s question. Instead, they picked up their flutes and brought them to their lips.

”———————!”

As the flute sounds rang, the next moment, the Witches suddenly received the command to jump down and rushed towards the group.

”Little Hong!”

Seeing this, Kohin cried out, thinking there were too many Witches for them to handle, and that it was time to rely on Red Ponytail.

But hearing Kohin’s call, Red Ponytail turned around and gave her a look.

”........”

Understanding the meaning in Red Ponytail’s eyes, Kohin blushed slightly and then nodded apologetically.

”Alright, leave this to me. You all keep moving forward!”

After receiving Kohin’s response, the Red Ponytail grinned and then flicked her left hand. Soon, a crimson greatsword appeared in her hand. She raised it with both hands, gripping one black and one red greatsword, and forcefully stabbed them into the ground!

”So you just have more people, huh?! Come out!”

With the Red Ponytail’s roar, flames suddenly burst forth. Under the blaze, her wavering shadow quickly extended, and soon, knights clad in silver armor, wielding greatswords, emerged from the shadows. In the blink of an eye, a massive army was formed.

”What is that?!”

Seeing the knight army that appeared behind the Red Ponytail, the twins were dumbfounded with fear, while the Red Ponytail raised her dual swords and pointed forward.

”Death’s Embrace!”

”Haaaaa!!!”

However, to everyone’s surprise, just as the Red Ponytail finished speaking, Felicia suddenly raised her hammer and charged forward, striking at the witch opposite them!

”Kill all the witches, leave none alive, kill them all!!!”

”Felicia?!”

Seeing Felicia suddenly break away from the main group, Kohin was taken aback. It was already too late to stop her as, under the Red Ponytail’s command, the knights in silver armor with greatswords swarmed forward, attacking the witches ahead, and Felicia’s petite figure was buried among them, completely obscured.

”I’ll take care of that child. Kohin, you go take out that rumor!”

The Red Ponytail swung a sword backhandedly, slicing through a witch, and immediately spoke to Kohin. Upon hearing her, Kohin nodded and hurriedly left the barrier with Yachiyo and Tsuruno.

”Alright, they’re gone.”

Watching their backs disappear, the Red Ponytail squinted her eyes, a gleam flashing through them. Then she turned her head toward the pale-faced twins not far away, revealing a sinister smile.

”You should feel honored.”

As she spoke, she raised her dual swords, and with her actions, the surrounding fire abruptly spread, quickly enveloping the entire barrier.

”...........”

The incoming flames were so scorching that the twins felt as if even their blood was about to boil. However, at that moment, they were shaking as if they were in Antarctica. They could see, with the Red Ponytail girl raising her greatsword, that behind her, in the air distorted by the high temperature, a blurry figure gradually emerged.

It looked like a statue, yet its lower half was entirely engulfed in flames and smoke. But for some reason, the twins felt they couldn’t clearly see the face of that illusion. Still, they seemed to know what kind of statue it was. Simultaneously, a barely perceptible whisper emerged in their ears—like a dream-like murmuring, a cacophony of screams and roars. A sense of ominous foreboding arose from deep within their hearts, causing them to retreat involuntarily, only to discover that their legs had turned to jelly, leaving them incapable of moving.

”This is the first time I’m using Divine Punishment, so please forgive me if I go too hard!”

As the Red Ponytail’s voice fell, in the next moment, the twins were horrified to find the surrounding flames suddenly solidifying, transforming into numerous azure tentacles, lunging toward them!!

”——————”

The twins were startled, quickly playing their flute. Soon, invisible sound waves shot out, sweeping through the space. However, they hadn’t anticipated that their magic would be utterly ineffective. On the contrary, those azure tentacles, like illusions, passed through the sound wave attack as if unaffected, and then...

”Ah———!”

”Yah———!”

With screams, the two girls were tightly ensnared by the tentacles.

”What...what are these things...?!”

Gazing at the sticky, cold tentacles on their bodies, one of the twins screamed, yet just as she opened her mouth, she saw the tip of a tentacle suddenly bulge, and then an eye emerged, glaring at her.

”Eek———!!”

”Naughty children who don’t listen must be punished.”

The Red Ponytail slowly walked towards the twins.

”I am the Divine Envoy of my Master. I release those suffering girls from the chains of destiny while also delivering Divine Punishment to souls that have strayed from the path of Magical Girls.”

As she spoke, the Red Ponytail extended her hand. With her movement, the tentacles entwining the twins began to gradually transform and branch out. Like bubbles, bulges appeared on the tentacle surface, then morphed into tiny branches, wrapping gradually around the twins’ bodies. They moved, like nimble tongues, over the bodies of the twins, starting from the lower legs, slowly creeping upward.

At the same time, the tentacles entwining their arms slid down their shoulders, gradually into their armpits and the seams of their clothes, while the tentacles on their necks branched into fine tendrils, spinning and extending like worms, slowly worming into the girls’ ears.

”Wa-wait a minute......”

Feeling the eerie sensations from their inner thighs, chests, and ears, the twins’ faces turned pale at once.

”Please, don’t......”

”Not happening, alright?”

Facing the twins’ plea, the Red Ponytail slightly smiled, then reached out and snapped her fingers.

”Snap.”

The next moment, for the twins, an endless nightmare began.
