Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

This is a battle of guns and death.

In the sky, a blonde girl spread her arms wide, a series of firearms appeared beside her, targeting the red-haired girl leaping towards her. The roar of gunfire echoed, hundreds of bullets simultaneously shot out, turning into a rainstorm of bullets surging downward.

But the shadow of death follows closely behind.

A bone-chilling wind, capable of freezing even souls, roared to life as the icy Undead Giant Dragon emerged from the ice under the command of Frostmourne, opening its massive jaws to pounce on Mami.

”Bang bang bang bang!!!”

Firearms appeared and disappeared one after another, the explosive gunfire completely enshrouding the massive Undead Giant Dragon. But soon, as a sword light flashed, Red Ponytail, along with her sword, flew out from the smoky haze, the Pitch Black Greatsword in her hand drawing an arc, aimed at Mami’s neck.

Facing Red Ponytail’s attack, Mami was relentless. She stretched out her right hand to grab forward, a firearm appeared out of thin air in Mami’s hand, striking heavily on the blade of the Pitch Black Greatsword, causing both sides to tremble and leap back. The firearm formation appeared once again around Mami, while Red Ponytail raised Frostmourne high, in a sharp, soul-stirring scream, countless undead roared and spun from Frostmourne’s blade, expanding into a torrent of death rushing forward.

And what greeted it, was an exceptionally radiant brilliance.

Bullets with golden radiance flew out, crisscrossing in the sky, forming a merciless meat grinder that shredded the swarming Undead Army into pieces. Red Ponytail in mid-air swung her sword blade towards Mami once again, cold Sword Qi burst from the blade, sweeping downward with a howl.

But at the same time, Mami suddenly extended her hand, a yellow ribbon shot out, wrapping tightly around Red Ponytail’s ankle. Then Mami pulled hard, causing Red Ponytail’s figure to lean, falling downward, and the Sword Qi originally sweeping towards the ground deviated, directly creating an enormous crack through the sky.

”Boom!!”

Heavily pulled down by Mami, Red Ponytail fell to the ground like a cannonball. Mami seized the opportunity to leap down, her side once again surrounded by a countless firearm formation, aiming at Red Ponytail.

”Woosh--------------!!”

But before the bullets even hit the ground, a tornado formed from the cold wind rose from the flat ground, rushing skyward as if an invisible giant hand directly swatted Mami away. Then, behind Mami, more than ten ice walls instantly erected, and Mami crashed through them one by one, ultimately halting at the eleventh.

But Mami had no time to recover. Almost the instant she stopped, she leapt up, narrowly avoiding a sword mark that skimmed past her feet, slicing the mountains behind her in half.

”Incredible...”

The scene that unfolded was akin to a battle of immortals, leaving Kohin and her friends stunned, their eyes wide with disbelief. Tsuruno stared, muttering, feeling as if she were dreaming. Yachiyo and Kohin fared no better, despite Yachiyo having previously confronted Red Ponytail. At that time, neither side was serious; Yachiyo was unexpectedly caught off guard when Red Ponytail got close, nearly finished off in one strike.

Of course, this had to do with their weapons. Mami’s are long-range, while Yachiyo uses a Long Spear, and once engaged in close combat with Red Ponytail, death is inevitable.

As for Mami, seeing that struggling only amounted to a few more minutes.

Dodging Red Ponytail’s strike, Mami flipped to the ground, but to her horror, the ground around her suddenly transformed into a purplish mire, bubbling like a toxic swamp. The intense poison flooded her senses, causing Mami to sway and her body to weaken, creating an opening.

But that opening was enough.

”Swish!!”

As Mami’s body softened, three ice pillars mixed with chains abruptly emerged, binding her securely within. Following the neigh of a horse, Red Ponytail galloped towards her, riding a Death Warhorse!

”Ugh!”

Seeing this, Mami gritted her teeth. Though her body could not move, her mind conjured more firearms, aiming at Red Ponytail and her icy prison.

But before Mami could fire, Red Ponytail leapt from the Death Warhorse, her left hand reaching out into the air, clutching at Mami fiercely!

”———————!!”

Under Red Ponytail’s grip, Mami floated into the air, her eyes wide, mouth agape, on her white neck an unmistakable shadowy hand clenched tightly, all the firearms behind her vanished without a trace.

”Guh...... ah...... er......”

Mami’s eyes were vacant, her legs kicking wildly, mouth agape, resembling a fish stranded ashore. Yet Red Ponytail was unmoved by mercy, mercilessly swung her Greatsword forward, aiming at Mami’s head!

”Ugh......!”

Faced with mortal peril, Mami’s eyes glinted, regaining a semblance of clarity. Her originally bound body suddenly slid sideways against her will, narrowly escaping the strike—yellow ribbons appeared around Mami, swiftly pulling her to the side.

However, Red Ponytail would not give her such a chance!

As Mami evaded, Red Ponytail’s eyes flicked, her Greatsword turning, following like a serpent, once again lunging at Mami. This time, with no room to escape, Mami had no choice but to raise her right hand in desperation, grabbing at the advancing Pitch Black Greatsword!

”Snick!!”

The sharp, cold blade pierced Mami’s palm, smoothly slicing through the space between her index finger as if it were tofu, traveling upwards, splitting Mami’s arm in two!

”Aaaaahhhhhhh!!!”

Under this intense pain, even Mami couldn’t help but let out a sharp scream, not just from the agony of her arm being cut off, but also because the ensuing cold was gradually freezing her body. Her arm, most affected, was now completely frozen and rigid, and then under the impact of the Sword Qi, it shattered into ice crystals.

”Not good!”

Hearing Mami’s screams, Kohin and the other three snapped awake from the nearly awe-inspiring battle earlier, and immediately they realized something.

These two truly intended to kill each other, and Red Ponytail was about to succeed!

”Stop it, Little Hong!”

At this moment, Kohin urgently screamed, and hearing her cry, a flash of Radiance appeared in Red Ponytail’s eyes. She then withdrew her Greatsword and kicked Mami hard, sending her flying.

”Boom!!”

When Mami fell to the ground again, everything around her had returned to normal. She collapsed on the ground, her right arm completely gone, leaving only a stiff half frozen torso.

”Ugh...”

Mami slowly stood up, looking at the people in front of her with sharp and icy eyes.

”What does this mean?”

”Well, Miss Mami, we really aren’t Witches... please believe us...”

Faced with Mami’s miserable state, Kohin didn’t know what to say, blaming Little Hong for being too harsh? However, the opponent indeed came for her from the start...

”Although you say that, I only believe what I see.”

Mami stared at Red Ponytail coldly, then backed away.

”I was careless this time, but next time... can’t say.”

After saying this, Mami immediately turned around and disappeared into the woods in a few steps.

”Phew.......”

Watching Mami leave, Kohin and the others couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief, while Red Ponytail simply stood there, her Pitch Black Greatsword vanishing without a trace, as if nothing had happened.

”Let’s call it a day.”

Yachiyo also felt exhausted, after encountering so many things in such a short time, she too needed to adjust her mood.

”Kohin, come to the Adjustment Room tomorrow.”

”Ah, okay.”

Even though Yachiyo didn’t say explicitly, Kohin knew she wanted to confirm what exactly was the Transformation that defeated the Witch earlier, and Tsuruno’s legs softened as she sat on the ground.

”So tiring, how could there be such people!”

”I didn’t imagine, there are increasingly more Magical Girls coming to Kamihama City recently.”

Yachiyo’s tone was calm, but her eyes grew more serious.

”Things seem more complex than expected.”

Facing such matters, everyone was exhausted, so the four dispersed and left, while returning home, Kohin was also worn out.

Yet what Kohin didn’t expect was that just as she walked through the door, Red Ponytail abruptly came over, pressed her against the wall.

”Ah? Little Hong? What’s up?”

Seeing Red Ponytail’s sudden move, Kohin was startled, and Red Ponytail merely lifted her head to look at her.

”I’m hungry.”

”Ah... ah?!”

Hearing this answer, Kohin paused briefly before reacting, blush spreading across her face and just before she could respond further, Red Ponytail already reached out, pulling Kohin’s neck close.

”Ugh...........mm......”

At this moment, in the dim vestibule, under the silver Moonlight, only two figures were seen drawing closer, closer......
