Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Looking at Elina in front of her, Red Ponytail felt killing intent for the first time. She sensed the things she hated most from the girl—chaos, madness, and evil. These things should never appear in a Magical Girl, yet this girl used her powers to spread chaos. To some extent, she had violated every rule.

Then her fate was sealed—death!

”Ahahahahahaha!!!”

Elina laughed maniacally, spreading her arms wide as countless watercolor hues surged forth like a flood from behind her. As she moved her hands, two green cubes spun and expanded—however, Red Ponytail didn’t give her the chance to form a barrier. With a flash of fire, she directly burned the cubes to ash.

”What in the world is this?”

Seeing this, Elina widened her eyes in surprise.

”She actually burned the barrier directly? Elina didn’t know this was possible, Elina never knew such a thing could happen!”

”There’s a lot you don’t know!”

Burning away the barrier Elina summoned with one sword stroke, Red Ponytail retorted while swinging Frostmourne down with her left hand. Quickly, a biting cold wind erupted, freezing the flowing paint into ice. Then, Red Ponytail dashed forward with determination, her sword piercing through Elina’s body without hesitation.

A dark shadow fell from the sky, heavily landing on the ground.

”Huff......”

Red Ponytail took a deep breath, releasing the Red Greatsword from Elina’s impaled body, then gripping the Pitch Black Greatsword. Elina, pierced through, spat blood, glaring at Red Ponytail and cracking a smile.

”Hey, what are you planning? What do you intend to do to Elina?”

”You’ll find out soon enough, don’t worry. I won’t let you die painfully—you’ll forever live on within the prison of your soul...”

Speaking these words, Red Ponytail tightly gripped Frostmourne, aiming it at Elina’s Soul Gem.

”Little Hong———!”

Suddenly, at that moment, Kohin’s voice rang out as other Magical Girls rushed over, shocked by what they saw.

”Stop immediately!”

”Sorry, this is my duty.”

Looking at the girls before her, Red Ponytail shrugged her shoulders.

”She created the Witch, allowed it to attack unrelated civilians. This is beyond the scope of what a Magical Girl should do, and I must fulfill my duty and punish her.”

”Punish... punishment?”

Seeing Elina pinned to the ground, the girls turned pale, as Yachiyo grabbed Kohin’s shoulder and looked at Red Ponytail.

”What do you plan to do with her?”

”Just like I said before...”

Red Ponytail slowly leveled Frostmourne, as cold radiance gleamed on the Pitch Black Greatsword and a sharp, wretched scream resonated from within, chilling the listeners.

”Her soul will face eternal imprisonment and suffering in a frozen prison, until the day she mends her ways—though I doubt she ever will, so it’s life imprisonment.”

”Wait, isn’t this too much...”

”This is my duty.”

Red Ponytail interrupted Kohin, looking at her.

”Think about those harmed by Uwasa and Witches, Kohin. Why are there so many Witches in Kamihama City, and these rumors? How many lives have they claimed?”

”This... but...”

Kohin was speechless, unable to respond, while Yachiyo frowned.

”But, if you kill her, how do we get information from her?”

”You needn’t worry, Miss Yachiyo.”

Red Ponytail shook her head.

”After I imprison her soul, I will directly search through her memories—it’s much more convenient than simple questioning.”

With that, Red Ponytail lowered Frostmourne.

”Prepare to face your punishment then.”

As soon as the words finished, the Pitch Black sword pierced Elina’s Soul Gem, and then...

”Aaaaaaaaah!!!”

”Ah———————!!”

A sharp scream echoed, but it wasn’t just from Elina, it also came from—Kohin!

At the moment Frostmourne touched Elina’s Soul Gem and began to extract her soul, Kohin screamed, clutching her head and collapsing as if her own soul was being taken. Seeing this, the other girls were scared, rushing to her side.

”Kohin, what’s happening?!”

”Hang in there, Kohin!!”

”......?”

Seeing this eerie scene, Red Ponytail was also taken aback. Then she widened her eyes, and quickly, Red Ponytail’s originally bright red eyes instantly turned golden yellow. Then, Red Ponytail saw it!

She saw the lines of fate spilling out from Elina Gray, intertwining with Tamaki Iroha’s fate lines, inseparable. It seemed as if they were fused together, which is why Frostmourne, which wanted to kill Elina, caused Kohin to feel pain!

How is this possible?!

Watching the manic trembling of the fate lines, Red Ponytail secretly gritted her teeth, spat lowly, then swiftly withdrew the Greatsword and kicked Elina Gray away. Meanwhile, Kohin’s scream abruptly ceased, and she collapsed to the ground, panting heavily.

”Kohin, are you okay?”

”I, I don’t know what happened, just now, I suddenly felt as though my soul was being torn apart....”

Facing everyone’s inquiries, Kohin shook her head in confusion, and Miss Yachiyo also looked towards Red Ponytail, her face serious.

”Little Hong, what’s going on?”

”I don’t know either......”

Answering Miss Yachiyo’s question, Red Ponytail approached Kohin. She looked at Kohin, then at the unconscious Elina Gray nearby.

”Kohin, do you know her?”

”She... are you referring to Miss Elina? No, I don’t know her.”

Though unclear why Red Ponytail asked this question, Kohin still shook her head.

”Look closely again.”

Red Ponytail grabbed the unconscious Elina Gray and placed her beside Kohin.

”See if she is your sister?”

”Huh... huh?!!”

Hearing this, Kohin was suddenly startled. She hurriedly pounced forward, carefully observing Elina Gray before her, then shook her head.

”No... she’s not my sister. My sister’s not so grown-up, and she looks completely different too.”

”That’s strange......”

”What’s this all about?”

Felicia looked confused at Red Ponytail, and Red Ponytail, unable to comprehend, then spread her hands.

”Earlier when I tried to extract Elina Gray’s soul, I found that her fate lines were entangled with Kohin’s. This means Kohin and this woman should have some very close relationship. Generally, to be this close, one should be mother-daughter, sisters, or lovers... but Kohin says it isn’t... Hmm, Kohin, extend your finger.”

”Ah, okay......”

Kohin extended her finger, and Red Ponytail took out a personal terminal, conducted a blood sample, then repeated the process on Elina Gray.

”DNA comparison... no blood relation either, really weird.”

Looking at the test results before her, Red Ponytail was bewildered. She originally thought whether Elina Gray was a modified version of Kohin’s sister. After all, sibling slaughter plotlines are not uncommon, right? One party being brainwashed and turned into a Creature is a common trope, but now it seems, scientific testing results have overturned Red Ponytail’s speculation.

”You really don’t know her? You have no close friends maybe?”

”This... my sister has been hospitalized all along, so I’ve mostly been with her... so I have no friends......”

Speaking of this, Kohin seemed somewhat embarrassed.

”Really odd......”

Left and right thinking, Red Ponytail couldn’t comprehend this situation. But one thing is clear, that is she can’t kill Elina Gray now. Her and Kohin’s fate lines are too deeply intertwined, if Red Ponytail forcibly kills Elina Gray, imprisoning her soul, then Kohin might suffer significant harm because of it, which is troublesome.

However, although she can’t kill her, it’s not entirely impossible to do something.

Thinking of this, Red Ponytail once again approached Elina Gray’s side, at this moment Elina Gray was slowly waking up. Seeing Red Ponytail, she smiled again.

”What’s wrong? Continue, anyway your fate is destined, unchangeable. Magical Girl’s secret, hehe, magical girls cannot escape fate, your foolish struggles are futile......”

”Shut up, you.”

Red Ponytail directly kicked Elina Gray, knocking her unconscious again. Then she reached out a hand, made a gesture in the air, and a strange pattern emerged, then disappeared into Elina Gray’s Soul Gem. After finishing all this, Red Ponytail turned around.

”Alright, let’s go back.”

”What about her?”

”Leave her here, let Margis’s people deal with her, in this situation it’s better not to act rashly.”

”Um, Little Hong, what does she mean by what she said?”

Now Tsuruno could no longer restrain her inner doubt, and asked.

”Previously those twins also said, certain Magical Girl liberation, certain fate... what does that all mean?”

”You want to know?”

”.......”

Little Hong surveyed around, noticing Tsuruno, Felicia, and Kohin all nodded, while Miss Yachiyo appeared worried.

”Alright, when we return, I’ll clearly explain everything to you.”
