Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

”Why is this Witch’s Night so damn strong?”

Watching the Witch’s Night laughing maniacally in front of them, Little Hei wiped her face.

”I remember the one we fought before wasn’t this tough!”

”I heard Margis used some method to provoke this thing, so she’s even more berserk than before.”

”We’re screwed.”

Hearing that, Little Hei was instantly speechless.

”What do we do now? Keeping this up is totally pointless! Will MASTER step in?”

”MASTER said just Summoning us here already pushed things to the limit. If he directly intervenes, this world will collapse! After all, Witch’s Night counts as one of this world’s Origins......”

”Then what do we do?”

Staring at the Witch’s Night ahead, the Magical Girls were at a loss for the moment. Little Sakura, Nanoha, Fate and the others were plenty strong, but they still couldn’t annihilate Witch’s Night in a single blow. This powered‑up version was way more troublesome than the standard one they’d dealt with before—like it got +3 attack, +3 defense, chugged a bunch of stimulants, and came with lifesteal on top......

”Maybe try focusing all our Magic Power on one point?”

”But even if we stack our Magic together, it still isn’t enough to break through Witch’s Night’s current defenses. Nanoha’s Starlight Burst is decent, but......”

”Um......”

Hearing the girls talk, Kohin couldn’t help chiming in.

”Could we ask those two Magical Girls who just cast those powerful spells to help?”

”You can forget about those two for today—they’re totally done for.”

Little Hei glanced back at the city wall and helplessly shrugged. Right now on top of the wall, Megumin and Louise—one sprawled face‑down, the other lying there like a corpse......yeah, you could call this the after‑effects of Burst Magic.

”I‑I have an idea......”

Just then, Little Youu timidly raised her hand.

”I have a way. I can gather everyone’s power together, then let Toka handle the Transformation, and after Yumem re‑materializes it and lets it Burst, maybe we can......”

”That’s actually an option.”

Yachiyo thought for a moment, then nodded. The problem right now was that Witch’s Night’s HP bar was way too thick; the Magical Girls’ scattered attacks barely scratched it. If they could focus everyone’s power onto a single point and land a direct critical hit, it might actually work.

”But are we sure this is okay?”

”We’ll just have to try.”

However, right as Yachiyo’s words fell, Red Ponytail popped out from behind them. She was still holding Frostmourne in her hand, its blade flickering with a soul‑freezing chill. The Magical Girls shared a tacit glance at that Pitch Black Greatsword, then quickly looked away.

No one wanted to ask what Elina had gone through afterward.

”Good plan. Besides, this is your world. We’re just here to lend a hand; in the end, taking down Witch’s Night still has to be done by you, right? Relax, this is just a standard Witch’s Night—kill it and we’re done.”

Gazing at the rampaging Creature in the distance, Red Ponytail seemed perfectly calm. Even though this Witch’s Night was way stronger than the one they’d faced before, this Witch’s Night was fighting alone. In that other world, because of Akemi Homura’s infinite loops, Witch’s Night’s fate was tightly bound to Mitakihara, which made it ridiculously hard to kill no matter how many times they fought it. But here, Kamihama City was a separate world, isolated from that timeline. In other words, the Witch’s Night here had no fate bindings or entanglements; even crazed and reinforced, it was still just a solo raid boss—kill it and it’s over.

”But we’ll need some time to charge up.”

”No problem. In a bit I’ll bring over a few Magical Girls who can do binding Magic to nail Witch’s Night down. Then while it’s pinned, you store up power and hit Witch’s Night with something brutal......if it works, great. Next time we run into a Witch’s Night, we’ll just follow this flowchart.”

”I really don’t want to see a third one......”

Little Hei grumbled helplessly.

”Okay, less talking, more doing. Now......let’s start! Nanoha, Fate, Little Sakura, and everyone over there who can use binding Magic, move out—tie up Witch’s Night for me!”

As she spoke, Red Ponytail immediately raised her hand.

”Lock of Heaven!”

With Red Ponytail’s Summon, Gold chains suddenly came ”clattering” out of the void, wrapping tightly around Witch’s Night’s body and pinning it in midair. Witch’s Night’s movement only stalled for a moment before it immediately started struggling again.

Damn it, dealing with something that doesn’t have Divinity is a pain.

Feeling Witch’s Night thrash against the bindings, Red Ponytail cursed under her breath. If Witch’s Night had Divinity, she could just Summon Lock of Heaven and be done. But as far as she could tell, whether Witch’s Night counted as a Demon Creature or a Yokai she didn’t know, but it definitely lacked Divinity—meaning Lock of Heaven was reduced to just plain chains.

”MASTER, I’ll help too!”

Just then, Illya ran over to Red Ponytail’s side, and whipped out a card from under her skirt.

”Phantasmal Summoning———LANCER!”

With Illya’s cry, the clothes on her body instantly changed into a pure‑white cloak. Illya spread her arms wide, looking up at the Witch’s Night in the sky. Then, centered around her, whirlpools of Gold began blooming one after another in the air.

”What’s been awakened is the breath of the stars. I shall advance together with mankind, and thus———Enuma Elish (O child of man, bind yourself to the Deity)!”

Countless Gold chains manifested once again, wrapping Witch’s Night up inside them.

On the other side, Sanae Futaba also raised the shield in her hand; her shield opened up like a great door, and several chains shot out, winding around Witch’s Night, while on the other side Feng also Summoned branches and vines that firmly pinned Witch’s Night in place from behind.

At this moment, Little Sakura also raised the Magic Staff in her hand and flicked out a card.

”Please bind the target before me and keep it locked where it stands—LOCK!”

As Little Sakura swung her Magic Staff, a huge lock appeared out of nowhere and, with a ”clack,” slotted crisscross between the chains, tightly locking Witch’s Night’s body.

”Nicely done!”

Seeing this, Red Ponytail nodded slightly, then looked at the others.

”Next, it’s up to you!”

”Yes!!”

Kohin and Little Youu both nodded, then Little Youu raised her hands.

”Everyone, please pass your Magic Power and your hope to me!”

”———————!”

In response to Little Youu’s call, a huge sphere formed between the girl’s hands, created by countless seven-colored Light Orbs fusing together; it was absorbing the strength and feelings of all the Magical Girls present and condensing them into one......Isn’t that just a Vitality Sphere?

Controlling the Lock of Heaven to bind Witch’s Night, Red Ponytail couldn’t help吐槽 at this sight.

Who would’ve thought this skinny little thing Little Youu actually had the potential to go Super Saiyan?

”Uu.........”

Although Little Youu had already recovered her original strength, the people present were not only the Magical Girls of this world, but also Magical Girls from other worlds, whose power and will were likewise formidable—so much so that they were far stronger than many of the Magical Girls here. At first Little Youu could still endure it, but very soon her face twisted in pain.

”Little Youu!”

Seeing this, Kohin’s heart jolted; it made her immediately recall the scene she had witnessed before. Was it going to happen all over again?

”I’m fine......Sister......Toka! It’s up to you now!”

Struggling, Little Youu stabilized the gathered giant Light Orb, then tossed it toward Toka—and Toka hurriedly stretched out her hands to catch it firmly.

”Uwah......so heavy, but no, I have to keep it together.........”

Staring at the massive Light Orb in her hands, Toka clenched her teeth and slowly began to shrink it. If Little Youu’s role was to collect power, then Toka’s was more like that of a catalyst—fusing the Magic Power of Magical Girls with different Attribute Levels into a uniform, pure Magic Power. This was the essence of Toka’s wish—”Transformation.”

And finally......

”Yumem!!”

After using every ounce of strength she had, Toka finally compressed the Light Orb—now once more pure Magic Power—to the size of a fist, then she raised it again and tossed it toward Yumem, who caught the orb and lifted it high.

”Sister Dear!”

As soon as Yumem spoke, that tiny Light Orb suddenly elongated into a massive arrow as long as a rocket—this marked the final step in the trio’s cycle.

Not gonna lie, this idea is actually kinda clever.

Watching this process of collecting, refining, and remanufacturing unfold before her eyes, Red Ponytail nodded again. Even though these three little brats were not exactly reliable, their idea had real value. Just like this, the three of them practically formed a rear-line processing and manufacturing plant on the battlefield, which was extremely useful for the Magical Girls.

While Red Ponytail was lost in thought, Kohin had already taken that arrow, which contained the combined power of all the Magical Girls present, from Yumem’s hands.

She fixed her gaze on the bound Witch’s Night and slowly, steadily raised the crossbow mounted on the back of her hand.

”Ah hahahaha, ah hahahaha, ah hahahahaha!”

At this moment, Witch’s Night also seemed to sense the danger approaching; strange-colored flames appeared all around it and began to burn.

Unfortunately, Witch’s Night’s struggle was already meaningless.

Kohin raised the crossbow in her hand and took aim at the Witch’s Night before her.

With a pink Radiance, a bright red Magic Circle appeared beneath Kohin’s feet and rapidly expanded.

”Guide it toward hope—Strada Futuro (Road of the Future)!”

Radiance flashed.

The arrow, consolidating the power of countless Magical Girls, tore through the sky like a bolt of lightning and, under Kohin’s control, flew straight toward Witch’s Night’s chest.

”Booooom—————!!”

The seven-colored arrow slammed into Witch’s Night’s front, colliding with its Protective Barrier; as the arrow slowly drilled deeper, cracks began to spread across Witch’s Night’s barrier, until finally......with a ”bang,” the arrow pierced through Witch’s Night’s barrier and sank into its body.

At the same time, another identical Magic Circle appeared above Witch’s Night’s head, and a dazzling rainbow of seven colors surged down like a torrent, completely engulfing Witch’s Night.

Bathed in this Radiance, Witch’s Night rapidly decomposed, shattered, and dissipated, then gradually faded away into the depths of the light.........
