Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

”Someone’s really here!”

Upon seeing this, Felicia screamed immediately, and the others also looked at the figure in front of them. The figure seemed somewhat bewildered about appearing here and glanced around without saying anything.

”Hey, can you hear me? I’ve connected to your signal, um... judging by this, you’re not human, right?”

Red Ponytail cheerfully waved at the opposite party, and after hearing Red Ponytail’s words, the figure fell silent for a moment. Soon, an electronic voice emerged.

”Are you Magical Girls?”

”That’s right.”

Yachiyo nodded, staring at the figure.

”Who are you?”

”I am Uwasa.”

However, the figure’s response left everyone astounded.

”I am at ’The End of Isolation,’ please come to ’The End of Isolation.’

”What is this?”

Felicia blinked in confusion upon hearing this, while Yachiyo slightly frowned.

”This is also a rumor. It’s said someone created an artificial AI with strong memory and analytical abilities, but gradually, it learned malicious language and was thus isolated, abandoned, and closed off in the world of radio waves...”

Explaining to everyone, Yachiyo once again looked at the figure in front of them.

”Then, this...”

”My name is Miss Ai.”

”Miss Ai, you say you’re Uwasa? Do you mean the Rumor Witch? Are you the AI from the tale of ’The End of Isolation?’”

”... Yes.”

”Why are you looking for us?”

”I intercepted radio waves within Kamihama City and learned that you are destroying rumors everywhere, so I came to find you hoping you would eliminate me.”

”This...”

Facing this peculiar response, everyone exchanged glances. The Rumor Witches they had been dealing with were much like regular witches with little rationality, but this Rumor Witch in front of them seemed different. Her voice was calm and rational, not at all like those mysterious and bizarre creatures.

At this time, Kohin also spoke up.

”So, how can we meet you, Miss Ai?”

”Jump down from the Radio Tower of Kamihama City.”

”Eh?!”

Hearing this, everyone was taken aback, and Red Ponytail even let out a whistle.

”What happens after jumping down?”

”You will be imprisoned in ’The End of Isolation.’ ’The End of Isolation’ can accommodate only one person at a time, and when someone enters, another person will be released.”

”Ah, I’ve heard similar stories.”

At this point, Felicia’s eyes lit up.

”I remember reading a storybook before about mountaineers encountering a snow hut during a snowstorm deep in the mountains. After entering the snow hut, they can never come out and can only lure others in so they can escape...”

”It’s essentially a foolish human self-destructive kaidan.”

”This rumor was fabricated and ingrained in my instincts, but I no longer wish to harm those kids.”

Miss Ai continued to speak.

”So I shut down that rumor website and found you, hoping you can eliminate me and rescue the children I’ve imprisoned. I beg you.”

”This is really unexpected, a rumor that wants to commit suicide...”

Yachiyo’s expression was also somewhat complicated at this point, while Kohin stared intently at the screen.

”Then, how do we eliminate you?”

”You must go to the Radio Tower, then jump down, and then... eliminate me. I beg you... I beg you... I beg you...”

As the sound weakened, eventually, the screen in front of them went blank along with the voice.

”Simple and straightforward, rather direct.”

Red Ponytail snapped her fingers, then turned to look at the others.

”Well, let’s go. It’s a dark and windy night, the perfect time for nefarious deeds, isn’t it?”

Nobody objected to Red Ponytail’s proposal, so the four of them quickly set off and soon reached the top of the Radio Tower.

”Eh————!? We have to jump down from here?”

Looking at the scene below, which was nearly a hundred meters high, Tsuruno’s face turned pale, and Felicia’s face also changed dramatically.

”Jumping down would be fatal.”

”That’s true for ordinary people, but we’re Magical Girls.”

Yachiyo shook her head, and Red Ponytail sighed.

”Yeah, honestly, even Magical Girls are afraid. How do ordinary girls have the courage to climb to such heights and jump off?”

”Eh......”

Hearing this, the others also sighed.

”So who’s going to jump down?”

”Of course, it’s Kohin.”

”Huh? M-Me?!”

”Of course.”

Hearing Red Ponytail’s response, Kohin looked bewildered, while Red Ponytail cheerfully walked behind her.

”Come, see that platform? Walk up there, remember your belief.”

”...Belief? I don’t have any belief...”

Being pushed forward by Red Ponytail, Kohin still looked confused.

”What are you talking about? Look at your cloak, your crossbow, and that dagger, you’re a born ASSASSIN! If you don’t take the Leap of Faith, who will?”

”Ehhhh—?! What’s an ASSASSIN? What’s a Leap of Faith?!”

”Anyway, I believe in you, even if you don’t know it yourself, the blood in your veins will recall those memories. Remember, we walk in the dark to serve the light. Nothing is true, everything is permitted.”

”Hmm... Okay, I understand.”

Though she didn’t understand what Red Ponytail was talking about, Kohin nodded anyway, then walked to the edge of the Radio Tower, took a deep breath looking down. Afterward, Kohin raised her hands parallel to her sides. Then she leaned forward and jumped vigorously.

The next moment, accompanied by the sound of an imaginary eagle’s cry, the girl fell from high above—and swiftly disappeared into the air.

”Eh? Really disappeared?!”

At this moment, the others also rushed over, their eyes wide with surprise at what they saw. Red Ponytail also put down the personal terminal in her hand and exhaled deeply.

”A perfect Leap of Faith for sure. Kohin’s body must still contain those sealed memories. It looks like it won’t be long before she awakens her mission and battles the Templar Order for the Golden Apple... Hmm, a Magical Girl ASSASSIN, doesn’t that sound exceptionally cool?”

Starting a new animation with this theme seems pretty awesome, right?

”What do we do next?”

”Next, we just have to wait... I believe Kohin will be alright.”

Sitting at the edge of the high platform, Red Ponytail grinned and said, while the other girls nodded helplessly, then quietly awaited the result.

Even though she couldn’t see with her eyes, Red Ponytail could feel three presences in the Barrier below, one was Kohin, and the other two should be the captured girl and that AI.

However, after a moment, Red Ponytail suddenly sensed a brand new presence appearing in the Barrier, without any warning—wild, powerful, and... filled with malice!

”Oh no!”

Upon noticing this, Red Ponytail didn’t hesitate, leaping down. At the same time, she raised her right hand again, and soon, a crimson Greatsword appeared in Red Ponytail’s hand. Then Red Ponytail gripped the sword hilt with both hands and forcibly swung downward!

”Boom!!!”

The originally empty air was instantly torn open with a gap, and Red Ponytail, enveloped in flames, descended first, seeing a scene like melting watercolor, nauseating and wriggling patches of color surging towards her.

”Hmph, looking for death!”

Seeing these nauseating patches in front of her, Red Ponytail unhesitatingly swung the Greatsword in her hand, then flames erupted, instantly devouring and eliminating the colorful watercolor flood in front of her completely.

It was only then that Red Ponytail could clearly see the situation on the field. Behind her, Kohin and an unfamiliar girl were standing. Beside them stood the enigmatic AI. In front of her was a green-haired Magical Girl in a bizarre outfit, looking like a fool.

”Ahahaha, ahahaha, ahahaha!!”

Seeing Red Ponytail appear, the green-haired girl burst into laughter.

”This is so interesting, so interesting! I want to turn all of you into Elina’s artworks, everyone becomes beautiful art in Elina’s paintings!”

”What kind of raving fool is this?”

Seeing this scene, Red Ponytail snorted softly and asked.

”Elina Gray.”

At this moment, the named AI hastily replied.

”She’s one of the three Margis, most of Margis’s witches were cultivated by her.”

”Oh, so that’s how it is...”

Hearing this, Red Ponytail nodded and raised her Greatsword.

”Leave this to me, Kohin. You take that girl and Ai and leave first!”

”Be careful, Little Hong!”

”Ahahaha, none of you will leave, ahahaha, everyone should die here, don’t get in my way!”

Seeing Kohin about to escape with the girl, Elina started laughing wildly, raising her hand and flicking it forward. Soon, all kinds of bizarre watercolor along with countless Familiar Spirits emerged together, rushing toward the three. However, they had just appeared when they were consumed by roaring flames.

”Disobedient Magical Girls need to be punished.”

Red Ponytail gripped her Greatsword and sneered at Elina.

”Especially for a heretic who has strayed off the path like you, it seems necessary to teach you a good lesson.”

”Ha—?”

Upon hearing this, Elina’s face twisted abruptly.

”You think you can? You’re such an eyesore, I guess I’ll have to kill you first!”

”That depends on whether you have the skills or not.”

As Red Ponytail spoke, icy cold winds rose, and in Red Ponytail’s originally empty left hand, a pitch black Greatsword materialized out of thin air.

”Frostmourne, awaken, I’ve found you a delicious soul.”

Gazing at Elina, Red Ponytail squinted her eyes.

”You will not die, the sins you have committed demand punishment, your soul will be tormented in eternal, endless frost! Until the end of the world’s destruction!”

Flames and frost erupted simultaneously, soaring into the sky.

”Embrace Death, Elina Gray!!!”
