Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Unlike before, this time everyone climbed the stairs in the dark — although the Satomi Medical Center has a height equivalent to fifty or sixty floors, for Magical Girls whose physical fitness is akin to 007X100, it’s no more difficult than taking a stroll on flat ground.

Besides, even if they fell, they wouldn’t die, right?

The door to the ward wasn’t locked, and after waiting for the night patrol guards to leave, the girls rushed into the ward.

”So, what are we supposed to do next?”

Felicia glanced around the empty ward with a puzzled look on her face, frowning.

”There’s nothing here, huh?”

As Felicia said, the patient in this ward had long since been discharged. Now there were only three hospital beds and a cabinet, with no personal belongings, making it look like a regular ward.

”You just need to watch.”

Red Ponytail stepped forward and stretched out her hand.

”Time will tell us everything.”

As she said this, Red Ponytail clenched her fist towards the void in front of her.

In the next moment, the scene in front of everyone immediately reversed.

The previously empty ward suddenly transformed into another view, only to see various books, toys, and drawings placed inside, and among them, three girls were chatting and laughing together.

”This is the application of the Archimedean Spiral.”

While fiddling with the toy train beside her, a girl with chestnut long hair proudly spoke to a girl with pink hair just like Kohin.

This voice... Shana, did you chime in again?

”If we can achieve perpetual motion, even the universe would be under our control, see!”

Saying this, the girl proudly placed the train on the ground, and soon, accompanied by the ”woo” sound, the train began to move slowly forward.

”Woo, it’s really running.”

Looking at the speeding train, Yu excitedly shouted, while the girl next to her showed a ”it’s nothing much” stance.

”This is too simple, really boring. It took several thousand years for adults not to figure out such a simple principle, they’re hopelessly stupid.”

Meanwhile, the train’s speed increased, and it directly plunged into the pile of books beside, followed by a ”crash” sound, the stacked books instantly collapsed burying the train within.

Then... black smoke puffed up.

”Ring-rinnnnng---------!!!”

Accompanied by the urgent fire alarm, the rain poured down.

When everything ended, it was already a mess.

Nurses hurriedly removed the burnt-out books and debris from the ward for disinfection, while the three girls obediently sat in the corner, and then, the girl with glasses and a ponytail sighed helplessly.

”Toka, the cultural loss caused by your violent and ruthless acts is comparable to the burning of books and persecution of scholars, you’ll surely be infamously remembered.”

”Huh?”

Faced with the ponytail girl’s accusation, the girl named Toka dismissively turned her head.

”If it was tragic to lose them, why put texts on easily-burnt materials, who can be blamed?”

The ponytail girl stretched out her hand to adjust her glasses.

”In a ward, having to worry about fire is the unusual situation, isn’t it?”

”Really, Toka, Yumem, stop arguing.”

Yu helplessly looked at her friends beside her, speaking out to appease them, while the girl named Yumem shook her head.

”There’s no benefit in befriending someone who won’t admit their mistakes. Toka, I’m breaking off with you.”

”Hmph, stubborn Yumem, I’m breaking off with you!”

Meanwhile, Toka defiantly retorted, and hearing this, Yu was also anxious.

”Really, how many times are you going to break off?”

The nurse came over and started giving a lecture to the three of them, and in the face of her stern words, they helplessly lowered their heads. After a while, the nurse left, and then someone pushed open the door and came in.

”Really, what trouble have you caused again?”

The one who entered wasn’t anyone else, it was Kohin.

”Sister!”

Seeing Kohin, Yu’s face immediately blossomed into a smile, and both Toka and Yumem also smiled joyfully.

”Sister Dear!”

”Sister.”

”Hello, Toka, Yumem, how are you today?”

Kohin greeted everyone with a smile, and at this moment, Yu had already trotted over to her side, grabbing Kohin’s arm.

”Let me tell you, Sister, today Toka and Yumem...”

”That’s not how it is, Sister Dear, it’s Yumem who...”

”Clearly it was Toka herself...”

So that’s how Kohin’s motherly attribute was nurtured.

Watching Kohin calmly soothing the three little rascals, Red Ponytail silently nodded, no wonder Kohin had the potential to be a mother, playing with these troublemakers all day, her mother skills might already be maxed out.

What happened next also unfolded as Kohin described, the four of them playing together, making maps, and imagining stories behind the maps. At this time, life was peaceful and wonderful for them.

Until that day...

”Uh... Sister, I can’t breathe... haah... haah...”

”Yu!!”

Kohin’s younger sister, Yu’s condition suddenly worsened.

She lay on the hospital bed, pale-faced, panting heavily, as doctors and nurses rushed around her busy, but the situation failed to improve. Watching Yu suffer on the bed, Kohin couldn’t endure anymore, she finally made up her mind, turned around and ran out of the ward, ascending to the hospital’s rooftop.

And there, a white creature was waiting for her.

”Please, QB, save Yu—please cure my sister’s illness!”

That sentence opened the curtain to everything.

Afterward, Yu’s condition miraculously improved and she recovered, this not only left the doctors flabbergasted but also surprised the other two girls. But regardless, for them, seeing Yu recovered naturally made them extremely happy.

”I really didn’t expect, Yu, that you would recover so quickly, even the doctors said they didn’t anticipate this.”

In the days since then, Yu’s unexpected recovery left the doctors amazed, they conducted rounds of checks on Yu and found her health couldn’t be any better. Before long, she would be able to be discharged.

”Yeah, that’s right...”

Yuu nodded.

But, no one noticed that at this moment, the dark shadow in the hospital room suddenly began to tremble, and then — swallowed the three of them.

”Where is this...?”

Staring at the bizarre world before her, Toka stared wide-eyed in surprise.

”Yuu ——— Yumem ———!”

”We’re here! Toka!”

Just then, Yumem and Yuu came running from not far away, and the three of them gathered together.

”What on earth is this place? We were sleeping before, weren’t we!”

”I don’t know either...”

Yumem also shook her head, glancing around.

Just then, in the vision of the three, a strange creature suddenly appeared...

”What is that?”

Looking at those creatures, the three girls widened their eyes in surprise.

”Is it... alive?”

And at this moment, that creature suddenly turned its head, staring at Toka. At the same time, Toka’s face turned extremely pale, she fell to the ground, gasping desperately.

”Ugh...this is...”

”Toka? Are you okay!”

”Hang in there!”

Seeing their friend fall, the other two quickly came to her side, and while they were at a loss for what to do, a pink arrow suddenly flew from afar, completely destroying the creature before them.

Soon after, a figure cloaked in white appeared before them.

And seeing the figure before them, the three widened their eyes in surprise.

”Sister?”

”Sister Dear?”

After that, Kohin defeated the witch invading the hospital, and her identity was revealed in front of the three — well, this wasn’t really a problem.

The issue was after this...

”Yuu?”

Seeing Yuu return after being discharged, Toka was also taken aback.

”What’s going on? Did your symptoms relapse?”

”No, it’s not that... it’s about Sister.”

Facing Toka’s inquiry, Yuu shook her head with a troubled expression.

”Sister Dear?”

”Yes, wasn’t Sister fighting before? In fact, I have discovered that even afterward, Sister continued on, sometimes it really breaks my heart... I can’t bear to watch any longer. I want Sister to stop fighting like that...”

”But... even if you say you want to stop her, we don’t know why Sister is doing this.”

Yumem posed a troubling question, but Toka confidently gave an answer.

”Because Sister Dear is a Magical Girl.”

”A Magical Girl?”

”That’s right... Listen to me...”

According to Toka, she once found a book written by her uncle at home, which recorded things about Magical Girls, QB, and wishing, etc. In fact, after that attack, Toka also met QB at home, and not only did she inquire about many things, she learned quite a lot about Magical Girls. Including the situation of Soul Gems and becoming a witch... Naturally, QB was quite forthcoming in sharing.

It’s just that most people don’t ask.

Take a look at yourselves.

Seeing this, the Red Ponytail sighed silently. Indeed, this is the difference between people, a young girl around eleven or twelve can understand things so clearly, while you all get tricked like fools... Alas, truly, this is the difference between people.

And Toka also pointed out the critical point that ”Magical Girls fight to prevent themselves from becoming witches, collecting Seeds of Sorrow, so as long as they don’t become witches, there’s no need to fight witches.”

Therefore, Toka suggested a method, which is — to have herself, Yumem, and Yuu become Magical Girls, using their three wishes to erase this ”destiny.”

However, Toka knew that the three of them couldn’t possibly make a wish that would erase the Magical Girl destiny without violating the natural order.

So she thought of a solution.

Each of the three of them would seize one of ”QB’s abilities.”

Yuu’s task was to wish for the ability to collect impurities and transmit them to the universe, the ”recycling” ability.

And Toka needed to wish for the ability to transform the energy and souls collected by QB into Magic Power, the ”transformation” ability.

Finally, Yumem needed to wish for the ability to materialize energy, creating something like a Soul Gem, the ”materialization” ability.

Simply put, when Toka and Yumem accumulate impurities, Yuu would ”recycle” this impurity, then send it to Toka for ”transformation,” converting the impurities they originally accumulated back into Magic Power, and finally passed to Yumem for ”materialization” to reconstruct.

This was the ”Automatic Purification System!”

At such a young age, learning about perpetual motion machines... are you also a citizen scientist, young girl?!

Reading this, the Red Ponytail’s face took on a serious expression, while others couldn’t even utter a word.

Although the idea is good, however... young girl, have you heard such words?

The more cunning one is, the more they will discover that humans have limits, unless you become an existence beyond humanity... Hence...

If you want to achieve this, first, you must not be human!

That’s right, this is the biggest flaw and issue in Toka’s plan.

Take controlled nuclear fusion for instance, humans have already managed to create temperatures in the billions, creating an artificial sun, but why has controlled nuclear fusion not been achieved?

The reason is simple, it’s the materials.

There isn’t a material wall that can withstand the high temperatures of controlled nuclear fusion for long periods without problems, so the human endeavor in controlled nuclear fusion has always been stuck here. You are the same, young girl, even if you become a Magical Girl, you are still human, not QB, it’s like the same jet engine, it’s no problem to put it on a space shuttle, but it will surely cause problems on a commercial airplane.

So... is it indeed that children are just children?

Thinking of this, the Red Ponytail already furrowed her brow.

She roughly guessed where the problem lies.
