Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

In the following days, the girls’ lives temporarily returned to normal.

Kohin continued to search for clues about her sister every day, while Red Ponytail and Yachiyo focused on investigating rumors in different areas—by the way, Felicia also moved into Sangatsu Manor because she was alone, and Kohin was very worried about her. Ultimately, after Kohin’s persuasion, Felicia agreed to live with them.

After moving into Sangatsu Manor, Kohin’s transfer procedures were also completed, so daily life turned into Kohin going to school with Tsuruno while Yachiyo went to work or investigated rumors with Red Ponytail. Felicia either stayed home or wandered aimlessly around town. Incidentally, Tsuruno helped Felicia find a part-time job at Wanwansui, so Felicia didn’t need to work as a mercenary anymore.

During this process, Red Ponytail and Yachiyo also discovered some Rumor Witches, but these rumors hadn’t spread too quickly, so they weren’t very strong. Red Ponytail and Yachiyo handled them easily.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Meidong encountered a troublesome issue.

”I don’t want to... I don’t want to!”

”Please, save me...”

”Tsukiyoru, Tsukisaki...”

Watching the twins curled up in the room, trembling under the covers, Meidong sighed. Since returning that day, the two had been like this after waking up. Although no injuries were found during the examination, they seemed to have suffered some sort of mental trauma, making them unwilling to step outside.

This situation caused the work of Wings of Margis to come to a halt. Originally, absorbing Magical Girls into Wings of Margis and leading their activities was Meidong’s task, with the twins assisting her. But now, for some unknown reason, the twins refused to leave their room, forcing Meidong to not only care for them but also direct other Black Feather Wing and White Wings members, leaving her physically and mentally exhausted.

However, despite all of this, she did not give up.

”Little Eight...”

Recalling her meeting with Yachiyo that day, Meidong frowned. If possible, she really hoped Yachiyo would join Margis, but now it seemed impossible.

”...What?! Felicia was arrested by the police?”

During dinner, upon hearing Kohin’s report, Red Ponytail almost spat out her drink.

”You’re a Magical Girl and got caught by the police?! Are you even serious?”

”Uh... Those guys were too cunning! Besides, they just kept badmouthing Yachiyo and Kohin, saying Yachiyo was mysterious and Kohin was an outsider...”

”That’s where you went wrong, Felicia.”

”What?!”

Hearing Red Ponytail’s words, Felicia instantly stood up.

”What did I do wrong?!”

”You shouldn’t have gone and directly cursed at them. Against people like that, just remember their faces, and then wait until they’re somewhere deserted and give them a good beating! That way, you relieve your anger, and they won’t know who you are. Isn’t that great? But now, sure, you vented your anger, but they’ll hold a grudge. Even if they don’t dare mess with you again, they’ll keep spreading bad rumors about Kohin and Yachiyo.”

”Uh...”

Hearing this, Felicia was suddenly speechless.

”Okay, take this as a lesson learned. Don’t forget next time you get into a fight.”

”Another time...?”

Listening to their conversation, Kohin pressed her hand to her forehead, speechless.

”I was really startled when the teacher called me out suddenly... Please, let’s not have a next time...”

”So you see, Felicia, next time you need to control yourself, don’t trouble Kohin anymore.”

”Oh... Oh! I’ll try!”

At this, Felicia suddenly got excited. Seeing her eagerness, she seemed like she couldn’t wait to try it out immediately.

”Honestly, Little Hong, stop encouraging Felicia.”

Kohin helplessly said.

”Now that Felicia has a job at Wanwansui and isn’t a mercenary anymore, there will surely be fewer conflicts with others in the future...”

”Tsk tsk tsk, you’re saying it wrong, Kohin.”

Red Ponytail shook her head.

”You know? There’s a saying, ’The tree tries to stay still, but the wind won’t stop.’ Your thinking is ideal, but what if trouble finds you? Besides, this isn’t just about Felicia, it’s about you too, Kohin.”

”Eh? Me, me?”

The teaching moment suddenly turned toward her, and Kohin was taken aback.

”Yes, at school you also appear very indecisive, right? No matter what people say, you only give vague responses. That’s why your relationships in class aren’t good. You’re such a cute girl, but your social interactions are a mess, it’s hard to watch!”

”But... I’m just worried about being ostracized... Eh? Wait, how do you know about what’s happening at my school?”

”Don’t worry about the small things.”

Red Ponytail waved it off, brushing aside her own stealthy snooping.

Naturally, she wouldn’t admit she went to scope out the school hoping she could maybe join Kohin for some AVI games.

”You get ostracized because of this. If you want it, then say it, if you don’t, then don’t. Your ambiguity makes it hard for others to understand your intentions. Do you want to be friends with them or not? Give a straightforward answer, can you? Hanging in the middle like this, anyone would be annoyed. Also, continuing like this isn’t good for you either.”

”Is that so...?”

Confronted by Red Ponytail’s reprimand, Kohin was a bit bewildered, but Red Ponytail nodded.

”Yes, you see, with your personality of not easily refusing others, it’s easy for men to take advantage of. Just imagine, one day after school, a guy shows up and confesses to you in front of everyone, what would you do?”

”This...”

Upon hearing this, Kohin hesitated for a moment.

”Of course, I would reject...”

”But what if the person keeps pursuing you? Can you tell them ’you’re annoying, get away from me, I don’t want to see you’?”

”......”

Kohin fell silent; she definitely couldn’t say something like that.

Instead, Felicia jumped up.

”What? Someone confessed to Kohin? Who is it?”

”No, I’m just making a hypothetical. If it were real, I’d have already broken their hands, and this time there’s no QB to save them.”

Red Ponytail waved her hand again.

”So, your attitude should be more decisive. If you want to fit in, try harder. If you don’t, then act as aloof as Yachiyo, so at least others will know...”

”What’s up with me?”

Before Red Ponytail could finish, the living room door opened, and then Yachiyo walked in. Seeing Yachiyo walk in, Red Ponytail cheerfully waved her hand.

”Yo, Dad’s home, thanks for working hard to support the family.”

”Who’s Dad...?”

Yachiyo sighed helplessly at Red Ponytail’s words.

”Of course, it’s you! Look, Miss Yachiyo, aren’t you the one working as a model outside and making money for the family? Meanwhile, Kohin does housework and cooking every day, just like a perfect JC housewife. See how like a couple you guys are, dad works outside, mom does house chores at home... go ahead, Kohin, say ’Honey, you’re home, do you want a bath first or dinner?’”

”Ah... eh?!”

Facing Red Ponytail’s tease, Kohin’s face flushed red, while Yachiyo turned her head in slight embarrassment.

”Stop playing around, what are we having for dinner today?”

”Oh, oh, the dad tone is coming out.”

”Ah, I’ll prepare right away...”

Kohin got up in a fluster, and just as she was about to head to the kitchen to cook, Kohin’s phone rang.

”Di do di do.”

Upon hearing the ringtone, Kohin hurriedly picked up her phone and glanced at it, then sighed.

”Another spam message.”

”Spam message? Let me see?”

Red Ponytail leaned over, glanced at Kohin’s phone, and quickly saw in Kohin’s message bar, a text marked as [Sender Unknown] was floating in the middle.

[Please save the child I’ve imprisoned]

[Please destroy me]

[Are you a Magical Girl?]

[Please make sure to contact me]

”........... Is this spam? Why does it feel off? Regular spam wouldn’t mention something like Magical Girls.”

Taking Kohin’s phone, Red Ponytail scrolled through the call logs, at which point Kohin also felt something wasn’t right.

”Now that you mention it... it does seem that way...”

”If you’re worried, let me investigate it for you.”

”How will you investigate?”

”Leave it to me.”

Faced with Kohin’s inquiry, Red Ponytail smugly smiled, then placed Kohin’s phone on the table, reached out her hand, and clicked on her personal terminal. Soon, a holographic screen appeared out of nowhere, starting to flicker rapidly.

”Wow, what’s this? It looks amazing!”

Seeing what seemed like a scene from a sci-fi movie, Felicia’s eyes widened, and she excitedly leaned over.

”Isn’t it cool? Want one? I’ll get you one later if you do.”

”Oh, that’s awesome!”

Seeing the ecstatic Felicia, Red Ponytail grinned, then turned to look at the screen in front of her.

”Okay, let’s have a look at this information source... hmmm, this is indeed interesting, initiating a reverse trace...”

At this moment, not just Felicia, but Yachiyo and Kohin also gathered around Red Ponytail, curiously examining the screen in front of her.

And at this very moment, Red Ponytail’s eyes lit up.

”Gotcha!”

Saying this, she stretched out her hand and tapped the Enter key.

Subsequently, a blurry figure appeared on the screen.
