Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

”Wow......”

When Red Ponytail arrived at the base camp of Margis, the first thing she saw was the collapsing building.

”You guys really know how to tear a place down, huh?”

”We didn’t mean to do this.”

Yachiyo explained helplessly, then looked at Red Ponytail.

”Um...... Little Hong?”

”Hmm?”

”How is Mami Tomoe doing?”

”Oh, here she is.”

As she spoke, Red Ponytail raised the Frostmourne in her hand, slowly rotating it. Along with her movement, the girls could see the originally pitch-black blade, flicker like a transparent crystal. Then a naked body, bound and restrained by tentacles, emerged.

”This...... this is......”

”She’s imprisoned in a cage of eternal ice, currently serving a life sentence.”

Red Ponytail chuckled as she explained to everyone. What she didn’t elaborate on was that for Mami Tomoe in this world, it wasn’t just being locked up. Frostmourne would gradually extract her soul, savoring it slowly. Those tentacles binding Mami’s soul would also drive her into endless madness.

This is far more painful than becoming a witch.

However, Red Ponytail obviously didn’t care about the prisoner’s feelings as she wasn’t a master of compassion.

But the other girls clearly didn’t feel the same.

”Isn’t this a bit too cruel......?”

”Cruel?”

Upon hearing Tsuruno’s protest, Red Ponytail glanced at her.

”Why, you only see the thief being beaten, not the thief eating the meat? How many magical girls did she manipulate into working for Margis? Moreover, unlike other girls of Wings of Margis who were brainwashed and manipulated, she willingly transformed. I think Jyushi, you are aware of this too, right?”

”Well...... indeed, that’s true.”

Facing Red Ponytail’s question, Jyushi nodded. During the confrontation with Mami Tomoe, Jyushi once peeked into her heart and was surprised to find Mami Tomoe wasn’t like other girls of Wings of Margis who were brainwashed and manipulated. Instead, she was very conscious and aware.

”But, she must have had her own reasons......”

”So what?”

Red Ponytail rolled her eyes.

”I kill your family and then tell you I have a more tragic past, so you forgive me? Even if you forgive me, the law wouldn’t! BOSS redemption depends on their past, but sadly, I don’t buy it. You made a choice, now you must face the consequences. Mami Tomoe willingly fell, and although she learned the truth like you, she chose a completely different path. And now, she has to accept the results of her choice.”

”Um...... Little Hong......”

Hearing this, Kohin nervously asked.

”What about Yumem and Toka......”

”Did you talk to them?”

”I did, but......”

At this point, Kohin looked down sadly, while Sanae quickly spoke.

”Although Kohin tried her best to convince them, those two kids completely don’t remember Kohin and don’t believe what she said!”

”That’s normal, I said it before.”

Red Ponytail shrugged, then she turned to look at the anxious Kohin.

”Margis must face punishment for what it did, and the same goes for Yumem and Toka. But considering they were misled by Elina, their penalties could be reduced. However, a death sentence can be avoided, but a living punishment cannot. As for Elina Gray... I think Mami Tomoe would be delighted to have a fellow inmate.”

Frostmourne would also be delighted to have a feast.

”Whoosh!!”

Suddenly, at this moment, a gust of wind suddenly blew, catching the girls off guard and blowing them to the ground. Seeing the situation turn dire, Red Ponytail quickly reversed Frostmourne into the ground. Shortly after, a solid ice wall rose from the ground, blocking the raging storm.

”Everyone, get over here!”

With the help of the ice wall, the group managed to block the ominous storm. Then Red Ponytail saw a massive figure emerge from the dust, slowly rising.

It looked like a giant moth restrained on a cross; now, the massive moth fell from the cross, crashing heavily to the ground — a monster as tall as a thirty-story building. Just its landing caused an earthquake equivalent to approximately a seventh level, and simultaneously, a gust comparable to a level ten storm hit them again, making everyone stagger despite the ice wall’s protection.

”Is that......?”

”That’s the half-witch they mentioned... Margis used her to collect filth. Little Hong, I think it must be......”

”Yeah, I guessed it too.”

Kohin didn’t finish her sentence, but Red Ponytail certainly knew what she meant. A half-witch capable of collecting filth, then it must be Tamaki Yuu who wished to possess QB’s recovery ability......

”We need to destroy it first, then find Little Youu’s consciousness, so we can undo her time freeze and bring her back to reality!”

”But how do we do that? It’s so huge......”

However, before Felicia could finish, suddenly, amidst clouds and storm, a daunting laughter echoed.

”Ahahaha, ahahaha, ahahahahaha!”

”Damn!”

Hearing the laughter, Red Ponytail cursed under her breath, turned her head, and sure enough, at the other side of Kamihama City, amid the invading storm, a familiar and unmistakable figure appeared from the clouds, slowly advancing towards Kamihama City along with the whistling storm.

Witch’s Night!

”MMP, coming two at once, are we supposed to survive?”

Seeing this scene before her, the Red Ponytail is truly desperate. Kamihama City is in much worse shape than Mitakihara. To the east is the notorious Witch’s Night, and to the west is the Half-Witch EVE transformed from Tamaki Yuu. Witch’s Night is a manifestation of grievances from countless generations of Magical Girls, while Tamaki Yuu is basically a walking corruption magnet.

When these two collide, it’s truly like Mars crashing into Earth.

At the moment, EVE also seems to have sensed the existence of Witch’s Night, as the giant moth turns its head towards Witch’s Night and suddenly flaps its wings, flying over in that direction.

”Little Hong, what do we do now?”

Seeing this, everyone’s faces change dramatically.

”Logically, this should be a case of the mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind, but I’m afraid by the time these two decide the winner, there won’t be many survivors left in Kamihama City!”

The Red Ponytail shakes her head, glancing around. Due to Margis draining all of Kamihama City’s power, the city is basically paralyzed now. Fortunately, Kamihama City detected a storm warning and arranged for an evacuation before Witch’s Night arrived. But even so, the current situation can’t be ignored.

The familiars accompanying Witch’s Night are dancing joyfully across Kamihama City, while EVE’s familiars are both demolishing and building a nest for EVE, which really gives Red Ponytail the sense of watching Godzilla battling Otto in Monster World...

But Kamihama City can’t endure as much destruction as New York...

”First, block this, then call for reinforcements!”

”Reinforcements? Almost all of Kamihama City’s Magical Girls are here! Most of Margis’ Magical Girls have lost their fighting strength, we simply don’t have more people!”

”Not here, but I can call Magical Girls from other worlds.”

Glancing at Yachiyo, the Red Ponytail raises her right hand again, summoning the crimson greatsword.

”What do Magical Girls rely on in battle? They rely on numbers!”

Saying this, the Red Ponytail forcefully thrusts the crimson greatsword into the ground.

”Come forth, Magical Girls, it’s time for you to take action!!”

In the next moment, scorching flames suddenly erupt, sweeping across the world.

Under the pitch black sun, the King’s City of Lothric rises once again on the wasteland. Kohin, Yachiyo, and the others look around in astonishment, finding themselves transported to the massive city’s walls without knowing when it happened. Beyond the walls is EVE; further away, steadily approaching, as ever singing its circus song, is Witch’s Night.

And it’s not just them, on these walls are also...

”Why Witch’s Night again?”

Little Hei sighs helplessly, holding her forehead.

”We’re so unlucky, encountering her again? Is this thing indestructible?”

”Little Hei, this Witch’s Night seems much stronger than the one we faced before.”

Illya squeezes her Ruby tightly, nervously watching the distance.

”Is now really the time to discuss this? Our enemies aren’t just Witch’s Night.”

Fate raises the Thunder Axe, staring at the giant moth in front of her.

”That one’s also our enemy!”

”Let’s prepare too, Nanoha.”

”Alright, Little Sakura!”

Beside Fate, Nanoha and Little Sakura also draw their magic wands.

”Key hiding the powers of darkness, reveal your true strength before me, by my name I command you, release the Seal———!”

”Heart of the Rising Sun!”

”YES, MASTER!”

”First strike down that giant moth, find its weak point!”

”Yes!”

With a command from the Red Ponytail, the Magical Girls on the wall immediately fly into the sky, charging towards EVE, and in a flash, various magical radiances burst forth, instantly exploding in a series of flames on the giant moth’s body, causing it to pause its turn towards Witch’s Night and instead look back at this group of Magical Girls behind it.

”We’ve got her, next step...”

”Let me handle it, now’s a perfect time for me to strike! Thousand Nights of Darkness, Ten Thousand Nights of Rage, great Pitch Black King, hear my summons, reveal your true might before me—————”

Megumin shouts aloud, raising her magic staff and aiming at the giant moth in front of her.

”———EXPLOSION!!”

In an instant, a three-layer magic circle descends from the sky, and the next moment, a violent surge of energy explodes, thundering like a hammer, slamming the giant moth’s massive body down to the ground———at the same time, Megumin contentedly closes her eyes and collapses to the ground.

But this is not the end.

”Eolh, Thorn, Feoh...”

On the tower of the city wall, a black-cloaked girl holds a magic book in one hand, a magic wand in the other, pointing at the giant moth before her, she quietly chants the spell text.

”...Let me show you the true power of Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière... actually, this is the true Burst Magic—————EXPLOSION!!”

Radiance bursts forth.

This moment of radiance surpasses the sky, leaving everyone with only a pure white scene before their eyes, no sound, even the colors seem to be swallowed by the dazzling white light.

And when the thunderous roar erupts, the earth trembles as if an eighth-rank earthquake, causing many Magical Girls to unexpectedly fall to the ground. As they open their eyes, the roar still hasn’t faded, but the scene before them leaves everyone stunned.

Beyond the city wall, the ground has been blasted into a huge crater several kilometers wide, and the giant moth is now charred, curling up within, seemingly having lost its former grandeur.

Seeing this, Yachiyo and the others are all astounded.

Is this also the power of Magical Girls?
