Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 801: Chapter 522: Quality Elf

Spiritual power traced along the silk thread, precisely and swiftly controlling the Beautifly.

”Jeet——”

Enveloped in a blue light, the latter screamed miserably, but halfway through, it realized that the Blissey hadn’t pressured its body, merely maintaining control and quickly pulling the silk thread.

”Happy~happy~”

With a joyful expression akin to a fisherman who just caught a big fish, the Blissey sang a chant-like cry while pulling Beautifly closer.

Originally, the strong mental will needed positioning.

However, with the silk thread serving as a medium for spiritual power attachment, it bypassed the rather intricate positioning process for Blissey.

”Beautifly!”

Xiaoyao exclaimed, realizing that indeed, Blissey’s reaction speed was astonishingly fast, whether in making moves or targeting opponent’s attacks.

She didn’t even have time to instruct Beautifly to cut the silk thread.

”Send it into the water, sing.”

Baimu didn’t give Xiaoyao more time to think, following Blissey’s role as the healing warrior egg in the Gorgeous Competition, preparing to serenade Beautifly with a sacred baptism lullaby.

As long as it wets Beautifly’s wings, it can crush nearly half of its combat power.

Plus, with the singing,

Basically, it could settle the score.

After all, in Gorgeous Competition, whenever the opponent is hit by transformation techniques, points are deducted—a highly favorable rule for contestants like Blissey.

”Happy~”

Blissey’s eyes sparkled blue, maintaining a strong hold on Beautifly, trying to submerge it in the water.

However,

Just as Beautifly’s wings were about to touch the water’s surface,

”Don’t let it succeed! Use strong mental will to resist!”

Xiaoyao exclaimed loudly.

Immediately, Beautifly erupted with a robust force of resistance, its eyes also shining in blue, colliding with Blissey’s spiritual power!

Two Pokémon without Psychic attributes using Psychic attribute techniques against each other seemed quite comical.

Interestingly, Blissey seemed unable to maintain its control.

If it was losing to a Psychic-type Pokémon of the same level, that would be understandable, but a Beautifly, part bug and flying, how...

Wait,

Blissey didn’t lose!

Baimu squinted, noticing that Beautifly was actually focusing all its resistance on its wings, neglecting its body, allowing Blissey to dominate it.

The former precisely allocated its spiritual power to a body part, naturally resisting and even countering the latter which attempted to diffuse it throughout its whole body.

He glanced at the big screen from the corner of his eye.

As expected, Mikoli noticed this as well, resulting in a stalemate stage, yet Baimu’s score was slightly deducted.

... the will to resist?

Baimu frowned. The peculiarity of Gorgeous Competition lies in the fact that even if you’re ahead, your score might still be deducted.

The core rule is to showcase the charm of Pokémon battles.

Undoubtedly, Beautifly’s struggle and choice were a unique form of beauty, at least acknowledged by the judges.

And a protracted stalemate had never been a bonus point.

Since Beautifly was initially hit by the strong mental will, Xiaoyao’s remaining score was significantly lower than his; however, he could maintain the advantage by staying aggressive to expand the victory.

Want the wings back?

They’re yours! All yours!

”Release the strong control! Gravity!”

Baimu raised his hand and commanded.

Upon hearing this, Blissey’s eyes dimmed blue instantly, a layer of pink-violet light flickered on its body, suddenly bursting like a blooming flower, ”Happy!”

Xiaoyao’s face changed significantly, ”Quickly fly to the higher sky! Quickly!”

As her words fell,

The Water Field was already fully enveloped in the pink-violet light released by Blissey, forming a massive semi-circle, and then disappearing.

The surroundings fell into silence for a moment.

And then,

An unspeakable weight descended!

The moment Beautifly, just catching its breath and preparing to soar, its pupils widened, like being struck by a hammer, it was forced to plunge into the water.

Plop!

”Jee!?”

The dazzling butterfly floundered anxiously in the water.

Vivian cried out in alarm, ”Not good! Beautifly still fell into the water!”

No matter how much it was calculated, it didn’t escape the fate of its wings being soaked. Even if it wasn’t wet, in the gravity environment, it still couldn’t fly, almost like an ornament.

The powerless struggle deducted nearly a quarter of Xiaoyao’s score.

She caught her breath, then quickly regained composure.

Last night, she had already gotten information on Baimu’s Pokémon from Xiaosheng, detailing the opponent’s moves presented in competitions.

The gravity technique wasn’t something she overlooked; she even had guarded against it.

Unexpectedly, she didn’t climb high enough in time...

Fortunately, Blissey seemed to be affected by the lingering white thread, the highly adhesive threads in the wind winding around its legs, making it look a bit flustered.

There’s a chance!

”Maximum power! String shot all around!”

Xiaoyao shouted. Beautifly in the water quickly tilted its head, shooting numerous pure white, highly adhesive threads in all directions.

In an instant,

A massive web formed over the water’s surface.

Using this, Beautifly escaped from the water, leaning against the pure white bug web, catching a breather.

Though in disarray, it managed to escape the peril.

Xiaoyao sighed in relief, glancing again at Blissey, suddenly noticing it holding its hands to its chest, singing loudly.

”Happy~”

Colorful notes flew out, spreading over the web with pale white sound waves, enveloping Beautifly above.

”Jee?”

It watched those notes enter its body in a panic, and in the next second, its lively eyes seemed to have a layer of gray, closing involuntarily.
