Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 838: Chapter 539: The Ace of Victory! (Part 2)

It’s time to put an end to this battle!

No matter how many attack paths and retreat paths have been seen through, just increase the speed, just make the attacks swifter—

Defeat is impossible!

”Raa-koo!”

Mega Swampert roared angrily and lowered its head, completely disregarding how muddy the surface of the puddle was, gulping and storing it in its cheek sacs.

This caused Liuqia in the audience to gasp, clutching the railing in front.

For Mikoli, ensuring the cleanliness of his Pokémon and water is his everyday routine as the Gorgeous Master.

And once he temporarily puts this habit aside...

It signifies he has made up his mind!

Baimu’s heart tightened, as if electrocuted, he shouted: ”Be careful! Its final attack is coming!”

The words fell.

”Water Flow Rupture · Combo!”

Mikoli issued the command.

Bang!

Muddy water splashed! Baimu and Mega Aggron only saw a blur in front of their eyes, Mega Swampert was already close, swinging its heavy fist spraying water at a speed indistinguishable to the naked eye!

Thump thump thump—

Sky-high water mist rose continuously, the persistent muffled sounds echoed alongside Mega Aggron’s body.

Counterattack?

With what to counterattack?

The raining blows were enough to consume the majority of its Heart Power just to defend, making it impossible to perform additional moves!

Too fast! Too strong!

It’s hard to imagine such a massive Pokémon could possess such exaggerated agile movement abilities. The thin white mist illuminated by light, as if several Mega Swamperts were attacking together!

Water illusion, what a fitting term!

Baimu’s fingernails nearly pierced into his palm, yet he did not issue any instructions, only shouting in his heart:

”Hold on! You must hold on!”

But this was incredibly difficult.

Mega Swampert stored a large amount of muddy water in its cheeks, filtering out the sand through internal circulation, allowing the sacs in its fists to eject more water for a longer time, rather than just packing a singular punch.

And although the power of each punch in the combo was not as impressive as a fully exerted single strike.

The constant heavy blows made Mega Aggron experience a soreness akin to being trampled by a thousand horses all over its body.

The blue light flashed continuously, proving its Physical Defense was being rapidly reduced.

”Gurr——”

It growled low, its massive body suddenly collapsed.

Knee joint fracture!

Baimu’s deepest fear had ultimately come true.

The impact and penetration power of Water Flow Rupture shattered Mega Aggron’s steel knees, and its already low mobility nearly dropped to zero.

The situation had reached the most critical moment.

But.

This was also the closest they had been to victory!

In a daze.

Many familiar images suddenly flashed through both their minds, like a series of comic panels spinning.

...a kaleidoscope?

No.

This was Mega Aggron’s memory.

Because in the vision, only Claydol and Shanren could be seen, but why was Mega Aggron thinking of this now—

Baimu was stunned.

Why would it think of it.

Wasn’t he the one who knew best?

That was their first match where no matter how they struggled, how they strained their minds, fought with all their might, even after evolving successfully, they couldn’t claim victory.

The opponent’s strength overwhelmingly exceeded their limits of effort, leaving regret as the final result.

That scene was deeply etched in Aggron’s mind.

To this day, it hasn’t been forgotten.

How significant can a battle be to a Pokémon?

Enough to be remembered for a lifetime!

”This time...”

”This time, I will bring victory to you!”

The familiar yet unfamiliar voice rang beside his ears, so clear, making him feel warm.

Baimu’s breath unconsciously became rapid, his eyes trembling as he stretched out his hand, as if trying to grasp the Mega Aggron in front of him that was enduring heavy punches with all its might.

This was its determination.

This is the determination of not wanting to lose to any Pokémon, belonging to Aggron’s sole desire to win for him!

Baimu took a deep breath, clenched his right fist and pressed it against his chest, as if he could feel the power of two hearts beating together.

No.

Victory belongs to us! It belongs to both me and you!

My trump card—

Aggron!!

He made no sound, but his eyes were like the brightest stars in the sky, so dazzling that Mikoli opposite him found it hard to meet his gaze.

”This is trouble...”

Mikoli muttered softly, filled with unease as he stood frozen.

At the same time.

His emotions affected the swiftly punching Mega Swampert.

The latter watched the Mega Aggron forced to lie on the ground, endlessly enduring heavy blows, yet felt no joy of impending victory in its heart.

Unease lingered like a cloud of doubt, shrouding its mind.

Something was happening that it hadn’t realized!

”Swampert! Withdraw quickly!!”

The trainer’s voice suddenly rang out, making the Mega Swampert about to throw its last punch freeze on the spot because the voice echoed within its heart!

A sense of urgency and anxiety filled the air.

It instinctively prepared to retreat, but just as its air sack’s jet adjusted forwards, the silvery light flowing around Mega Aggron’s body as if meant for defense seemed to accumulate to its limit and suddenly stopped.

Then.

It completely erupted!

An indescribable intense light instantly swallowed up Mega Swampert, reverberating along with two roars.

”Metal Explosion!!”

”Roar!!”

BOOM——!!

The entire arena shook wildly as if about to collapse!

The thunderous explosive sound reverberated violently!

Liuqia was forced to shut her eyes, because the sudden burst of dazzling silver light in the field was too radiant to be looked at directly with the naked eye.

A moment later.

The silver light dimmed.

A terrifying cloud of smoke, like a swirling storm of destruction, loomed over the vast expanse of the field.

The dense smoke rolled and gathered in the air, mixing with the rainy clouds, completely blocking the lights from the dome, making the arena dark and gloomy, adding to the shock and fear of the scene.

An overwhelming shockwave swept through everything, the surrounding ground in disarray, the exposed field seeming as if plowed over, filled with scars amid continuous tremors!

What a terrifying scene!

Liuqia felt speechless for a moment, her mind still immersed in the destructive vision created by the Pokémon.

But her eyes never left the field, eager to know the situation inside.

Is there a result?

This powerful attack was the consequence of Mega Aggron enduring the continuous damage from Mega Swampert, further enhancing the power and returning it.

It’s hard to imagine Mega Swampert being able to withstand such a powerful move, right?

And beside Liuqia, Adam remained silent, never expecting Baimu to battle Mikoli to such an extent, far beyond his expectations.

Despite overestimating this little guy’s strength many times, who would have thought in the end that his ”overestimation” turned out to be underestimation.

A growth rate so astonishing.

Regardless of whether the result of this Gym Battle is victory or defeat, Baimu can no longer be judged as a mere successor.

He has already surpassed many trainers still hesitating halfway up the mountain!

Soon.

The smoke gradually dispersed.

The pattering rain gradually lessened, likely to stop soon.

In the field.

Mega Aggron ”stood” in place, breathing heavily like an exhausted old bull.

Much of its weight had already shifted onto its thick tail behind it, otherwise its fractured legs alone would never be able to support standing.

The power of such a massive Metal Explosion posed a significant burden on it too.

The numerous scorches and pits across its silver armor explained just how perilous the situation had been, akin to dancing on a tightrope.

But it was all worthwhile.

It looked down from above at the shattered mud pit where Swampert, who at some point reverted to its original form and passed out, lay, with deep joy enveloping its heart.

”Swampert has lost the ability to battle! Aggron wins! The Hall Master has only one Pokémon left!”

The old butler, dust settling on his shoulder, did not brush it off but raised the flag in his hand.

”Roar——!!”

”We won——!!”

Baimu and Mega Aggron simultaneously raised their right arms, their triumphant roar echoing throughout the arena.
