Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 832: Chapter 536: Twin Dragons in a Fierce Duel! (Part 2)

This is a bit troublesome now.

Both possessing innate invisibility ability, Kecleon’s invisibility is still traceable—with its red zigzag pattern in the middle—while Dragapult’s invisibility is seamless, even the Dreepy in its launch hole can be hidden together...

No wonder it’s categorized as an invisible Pokémon.

”Roar!”

The Gyarados, with a long breath like a blower, swung its head, attempting to encompass everything in the field’s gale rage.

Meanwhile, in the dark, Dragapult quietly hid as the two Dreepy in the launch hole covered their mouths.

A major downside of invisibility is the inability to shield sound. Previously, when battling other Pokémon, the opponent’s sensitive ears caught the unrestrained laughter of Brother Dragapult, leading to Dragapult’s unfortunate capture.

Since then, when going invisible together, the Dreepies spontaneously covered their mouths, not that it added much help, but at least it didn’t drag them down, right?

They waited silently for the timing.

In the field,

The pale-white violent air flows everywhere, yet it found nothing.

”Didn’t find it?”

Mikoli was momentarily stunned, thinking the gale had practically attacked every place in the field, unless Dragapult cheated and ran out of the field, leaving only—

His gaze fell near Gyarados, suddenly brightening as he shouted, ”It’s hiding under you! Raise your body and use Water Cannon!”

In an instant,

On the opposite side, Baimu also shouted, ”Dragon Arrow!”

Light and shadow flickered.

Nearly parallel to Gyarados’s abdomen, Dragapult appeared, with sparks flying in the launch hole above its head!

Bang bang!

The Dreepies dragged long trails of smoke behind them, flying like missiles towards Gyarados just two or three meters away!

”Roar!”

The latter suddenly leant back and lifted its upper body, trying to distance itself from Dragapult, but at such proximity, evasion was practically impossible.

The excited Brother Dragapult bumped into Gyarados’s nose, closely followed by Sister Dragapult, targeting Gyarados’s left eye.

Boom boom!

Two plumes of smoke exploded.

”Roar—”

Gyarados let out a miserable scream, even though its enormous size had rough skin, the nose and eyes were still considered vulnerable spots.

”So fast!”

Liuqia exclaimed, and immediately saw the backward-falling Gyarados swing its tail hidden underwater, a gleaming blue pillar breaking through the water surface towards Dragapult.

”Water Flow Tail!”

Even while injured, it didn’t forget to adopt other attack methods on the opponent; Mikoli’s Pokémon were indeed extraordinary.

Sadly, Dragapult had already retreated into invisibility, and the two successful Dreepies likewise vanished into the air with giggles.

Disappeared again...

Though as experienced as Mikoli was, faced with this situation, he couldn’t help but put his seriousness on display.

He was naturally always serious in battling Baimu but had to admit that the latter’s strength far exceeded his imagination.

Had he known, not only the Gym Battle’s strength rules but even the Gym Leader limitation rules, such as only the challenger side can switch Pokémon, should be repealed.

Mikoli clearly realized he was paying the price for ”underestimating” Baimu.

”Gyarados!”

”Roar!”

A roar responded, Gyarados lifted its body, shaking its massive head, visible injuries on the nose and left eye, especially the tightly closed left eye.

Mikoli realized Gyarados could temporarily observe the opponent only through one eye.

”—Around the pond, use Dragon Dance!”

”Rapid Return!”

Almost simultaneously, both commanded.

Gyarados suddenly leapt, its enormous shape defying science as it left the water and hovered mid-air, beginning to circle the pond as the center.

Meanwhile, a green glow appeared out of nowhere!

Whoosh—

The air uttered a sharp whistling sound, a fierce look appeared in Gyarados’s single eye, just about to collide head-on to see who was tougher, only to find its opponent far swifter.

As if flashing by, it scraped past the dorsal fin on its back.

Boom!

Small smoke exploded.

”Roar!”

Gyarados felt its back as if something hit it, saying it didn’t hurt was somewhat painful, saying painful was just like that.

What happened?

It was very puzzled, and on the audience stand, Liuqia was even more puzzled by Baimu’s actions.

”Why switch Pokémon? Dragapult had the advantage.”

”...”

Adam did not speak, despite having decades as Gym Leader, he couldn’t see through every Trainer’s tactics.

What did Baimu plan to do?

He and Mikoli’s hearts harbored small doubts.

”Your turn! Meteor Shower!”

Baimu immediately threw the Pokeball as he retracted Dragapult.

Bang!

The white light flickers.

”Shasong!”

Hydreigon raised its head and roared intensely, with energy gathering visibly at its chest and abdomen.

Meanwhile, not far away, as Gyarados performed a high-speed spin based on Dragon Dance, gusts of wind roared within the arena, waves rolling in the pond, seeming to surge!

”Roar!”

Its roar was filled with intense anger.

Strict rules dictate that during exchanges, Trainers must wait until the previous Pokémon’s red light is completely absorbed into the Pokeball before releasing the new Pokémon by throwing the Pokeball or pressing a button.

Otherwise, it counts as a violation.

This period may seem very short to average Trainers, but for powerful Trainers, it’s ample time to command a Pokémon to complete a game-changing tactic!

Mikoli gazed at Hydreigon across the field, which was spewing three massive Energy Bullets that made the air vibrate, and his expression did not change in the slightest.

Boom!

The three Energy Bullets exploded simultaneously, and hundreds of light arrows dragged long, orange-red tails like a meteor shower descending from the sky!

The intense light dimmed even the lighting within the arena.

But this is.

”Summon the flowing water! Soar to the sky!”

”Roar——!!”

A fierce water dragon wrapped completely in shimmering blue water snarled and charged towards the sky, the exploding light arrows madly crashing down only to stir up layers of ripples.

It couldn’t break through that layer of water membrane!

Gyarados looked down at Hydreigon from above, its body coiled like a spring compressed to the extreme.

”Climbing Waterfall!”

Mikoli waved his hand firmly like a commander leading a cavalry charge.

The next moment.

The towering water dragon bathed in light arrows rushed towards Hydreigon like a speeding train!

Boom——!!

The air emitted an uncontainable explosion!

The speed was so fast it almost flickered, and Liuqia in the audience felt just a flash before her eyes as the massive dragon head fiercely collided with Hydreigon, the fierce water impact crashing down like a giant waterfall, as if it was going to burst her eardrums!

The impact’s aftermath flew around, wildly blowing Baimu and Mikoli’s clothes’ edges, also dispersing the remaining clouds above completely.

Such a terrifying strike!

”Ah!”

She covered her mouth in surprise, eyes fixed on the field.

Adam also stood up.

But they were not moved by the power displayed by Gyarados; being familiar with Mikoli, they were used to seeing similar scenes.

What truly surprised them was Hydreigon.

It still remained in its original position, staunchly resisting the terrifying offensive aspects of Gyarados drawing pool water with Dragon Dance and Climbing Waterfall, like a thousand-ton waterfall’s frontal impact!

What defense capability? Calling it Copper Wall and Iron Wall wouldn’t be an exaggeration!

... Wait!

Adam squinted his eyes.

Vaguely, he seemed to see a fragmented honeycomb-shaped light shield between the two.

”Defend... So that’s it. But even considering Defend, managing to hold off frontally deserves praise,” he muttered softly.

Just as the words were spoken.

The water surrounding Gyarados scattered, instantly turning the originally flat grassland into a muddy mess.

However, the two Pokémon did not separate, as Hydreigon’s left and right heads were biting down fiercely on the dual horns on Gyarados’s sides, making it hard to retreat.

”Shasong——”

Hydreigon stared intently at the nearby Gyarados, the crimson gleam in its eyes so intimidating that even the latter felt a shiver!

No good!

Seeing this scene, Mikoli immediately felt things weren’t right and shouted:

”Frozen Fang!”

”Thunder Fang!”

Baimu’s command sounded almost simultaneously.

Instantly.

Bright lightning danced like small snakes, spreading from Gyarados’s dual horns to its entire body, making it involuntarily twitch wildly!

The greatest trait of Electric Techniques—

Speed!

But at the same moment, a large fang made of ice viciously bit into Hydreigon!

Boom!

Smoke exploded.

Soon another gust dispersed the smoke.

It was Hydreigon retreating, its lower body slightly frosted yet its spirit remained immensely full.

”Shasong——!!”

It raised its head and roared fiercely.

Not far away, Gyarados collapsed sideways on the ground, wisps of white smoke rising all over its body, its surface crisscrossed with scorching black marks.

The old caretaker announced loudly:

”Gyarados has lost its ability to battle!”
