Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 825: Chapter 533: Feng Aotian!?

Gym challenge ended.

As the Dancer was about to leave, she once again encountered the Alliance President, Yazi.

[You learned from her that although Orange Academy has many students, few can successfully complete challenges at all eight Gyms.]

The reasons are many—either lacking strength or not treating the Gym challenge as a necessary part of the ’treasure hunting’ extracurricular activity. Those old folks already have grandchildren, yet they haven’t even finished hunting for treasure.

Yazi came to find the Dancer partly to thank her for not letting down her expectations and investment, and partly to invite her to challenge the Four Heavenly Kings at the Pokémon League.

The Dancer was quite grateful to Yazi, who not only told her the origin of the Celestial Star Team but also gave her the Great Crystal Pearl, an essential item for the Gym challenge.

But before challenging the Four Heavenly Kings, she decided to return to school to finish the remaining courses and take the semester exams.

”Wow! If I were the administration office, you’d be this year’s all-around student!”

Baimu was full of admiration.

What a model student, truly attending school seriously!

Clearly, with just a bit more effort, she might become a Champion Trainer, yet she willingly goes back to school for classes and exams?

If it were someone else, they might think she was going back to show off... but the Dancer really was studying!

From the narrator, it can be inferred that her grades are quite good.

[You returned to Mesagoza, back to your initial school life.]

In school, the Dancer still had one or two good friends, and being one of the few Trainers to earn eight badges, she was quite popular.

But soon enough, someone even more dazzling appeared.

”Hmm? The game protagonist?”

Baimu was momentarily stunned, only to realize it was the protagonist’s rival from the promotional video.

A black-skinned upperclassman named Nemo.

According to the narrator, while the Dancer was among the few students to earn eight badges, it took her a whole semester. However, Nemo—

It took her only three months.

In less than half a semester, she successfully earned eight badges and recently defeated the Four Heavenly Kings, gaining the recognition of Chief Champion Yazi, becoming a new Champion Trainer.

Such an outstanding figure even caught the attention of Principal Claver, who expressed interest in appointing her as the Student Council President.

”Wow!? Feng Aotian!?”

Baimu gasped, her three months were even shorter than his!

Although he also participated in the Gorgeous Competition, she had already beaten the Four Heavenly Kings, reaching the limit of ordinary Trainers in the Padia Region.

This is just... unbelievable.

Compared to her, Ash Ketchum’s arduous journey seemed like he was raised by a stepmother, struggling to reach the top four in Sinnoh and just the top eight in Unova.

Nemo as a rival is comparable to the first generation Cyan Green.

In the scene.

The Dancer was also stunned by Nemo’s legendary record, and when the latter ran over asking if she could be her fierce rival, she promptly refused.

[You suggested that since being rivals wasn’t possible, you could be friends. The previously dejected Nemo then cheered up.]

The Dancer wasn’t particularly passionate about Pokémon battles. Battles were just a supplement to her journey, leaving precious memories of her growth with Pokémon.

Unlike Nemo.

The screen flickered.

Soon, the semester exams were over, and Nemo, with the highest scores in all subjects, was appointed Student Council President by Principal Claver.

[Your grades ranked only tenth, but despite Quaquaval’s consolation, you didn’t feel too upset.]

The Dancer seemed to have made some decision.

Soon after the exams ended, she headed to the Padia Pokémon League.

[You informed the guard you were there to challenge the Four Heavenly Kings.]

The scene shifted.

The Dancer entered a completely white room, in the distance was a desk, and a green-haired woman in a business suit introduced herself as the interviewer.

[You heard her introduce herself as Xin Li and understood she was also one of the Four Heavenly Kings.]

Before coming, the Dancer had already inquired from Nemo about the information she could share, including who comprised the Four Heavenly Kings.

The interview content wasn’t difficult.

It seemed merely to let the Dancer reminisce about her Gym challenge process and her thoughts on becoming a Champion, more form than substance.

This left both the Dancer and Baimu somewhat puzzled, but there must be deeper reasons.

In any case.

The Dancer’s battle with the Four Heavenly Kings began.

Baimu was somewhat excited, gripping the steel arm of the nearby Aggron, who looked at the Trainer who went ecstatic once a month with some helplessness.

It even once doubted whether it was being fed mushrooms with hallucinogenic effects once a month.

There’s no other explanation!

The symptoms were present when first encountered; it couldn’t have been Blissey’s doing, right?

Sigh.

Just bear with it.

What else can be done.

Aggron fretfully held its chin with another claw, looking strikingly similar to Baimu at that moment, drawing starry-eyed gazes from the nearby Altered-color Milotic.

In the simulation.

The first Heavenly King the Dancer faced was the interviewer, Xin Li.

[You nervously sent out your Pokémon.]

Xin Li’s Pokémon were Ground Attribute, which gave the Dancer’s Pokémon a bit of an attribute advantage. But as a member of the Four Heavenly Kings, her strength was naturally greater than that of a Gym Leader.

[You were immensely grateful that before the Four Heavenly Kings challenge, you returned to school to continue nurturing your Pokémon.]

From the narrator’s explanation and the pixelated battle scenario, it was clear that although it was unclear whether the Four Heavenly Kings were going all out.
