Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 830: Chapter 535: The Power of Intimidation (Part 2)

And the Tentacruel, having recovered from the shock, swiftly sprayed a large mass of poison, instantly dyeing half of the pool a deep violet.

Beside it, the Ludicolo leapt up, using its comrade’s head as a springboard to soar into the sky, its fist glowing with a profound brown-red as if scorched by flames.

”Texture 2!”

Baimu’s command came a beat slow, but the speed of the two Porygon II was not sluggish.

The Porygon II at the bottom of the pool transformed into a steel-like form, while the Porygon II carrying the Corsola in the sky was enveloped by a layer of Black Mist, resembling a ghost.

The two moves that had blind spots naturally missed.

Especially the Ludicolo, which went straight through the Porygon II and Corsola without hitting a ”rock” like before.

There’s no doubt about it.

Last time, Ludicolo managed to hit the Corsola’s body only because the latter intentionally allowed it, to prevent the Porygon II below from being injured.

The luminous green light absorbed from them also proved that the Porygon II and Corsola in the sky were not illusions.

”Attribute-changing move?”

Mikoli reacted quickly, as Tentacruel’s [Mirror Attribute] had similar effects, but he was surprised by Porygon II’s ability to simultaneously activate moves with its body and clone, creating different changes.

And...

Baimu’s precise judgment of how much damage the curse could cause within a certain time frame.

”Swoosh...”

The Tentacruel quietly floated to the surface, its previously steel whip-like tentacles drooping powerlessly, its eyes turned black circles, seemingly unconscious.

”Tentacruel has lost the ability to fight!”

The old butler’s voice sounded.

Opportunity!

Baimu and the two Porygon II’s eyes flashed; during doubles, when opponents or allies switch, attention inevitably shifts to the newly appeared Pokémon.

The time may be short, but as long as you seize it—

You can take down the opponent in one move!

”Double attack! Signal Beam!”

He shouted, and the Porygon II from both directions responded simultaneously, launching an attack on the exhausted Ludicolo on the floating board.

The luminous green beams pierced through the water and air, emitting sharp hissing sounds.

The previous Signal Beam and Discharging were not in vain; even if Ludicolo had Parasitic Seed to recover stamina, it couldn’t quickly recover so much in a short time.

This guy was already very tired, and with Magic Space not disappearing, evasion wasn’t easy.

Let it use photosynthesis to give it a try?

Baimu glanced at Mikoli opposite, only to find he had already thrown out a Pokeball, the flickering white light forming a huge rotating figure before Ludicolo.

Bang bang!

Amidst terrifying roars, the Signal Beam hit precisely, spreading thick white smoke but not stirring Gyarados’ huge form.

This guy, like a tall wall, blocked the Ludicolo on the floating board, its fierce appearance making the two gazing Porygon II involuntarily tremble.

[Intimidation]Trait!

”Roar—!!”

Gyarados howled to the sky, the echoing roar and intimidating force causing Baimu’s eardrums intense pain, making him subconsciously raise his hand, his heart inexplicably following suit in a tremble.

Not good.

Something’s going to happen!

He widened his eyes and then saw Gyarados suddenly swing its giant tail!

Bang!

A dull rumble sounded in the air.

Brilliant blue water wrapped around Gyarados’ tail, like an inverted waterfall on a rainy day, fiercely swinging towards the Porygon II in the air with a stunning momentum!

”Water Flow Tail!”

”Roar—”

The Porygon II, intimidated by the roar that triggered the [Intimidation] Trait, couldn’t evade or counterattack for a moment.

Baimu gritted his teeth.

Self-Rebirth?

No, it’s too late, just have to give it a shot—

”Discharging!!”

Zap—

Countless silver serpents flew out from Porygon II’s body, its sharp eyes twisting its body, but in the next moment, it was hurled away by Gyarados’s waterfall-like giant tail.

Bang!

Amid a deafening crash, Porygon II spun like a whirling arrow and was smashed against the wall of the spectator stands, the massive force causing the wall to crack like a spider web.

And Porygon II, embedded within it... lost the ability to fight.

The other Porygon II underwater turned into a wisp of smoke and vanished without a trace.

”Porygon II cannot fight!”

The old butler’s voice brought Liuqia out of her daze.

”Such a quick reversal! Why was Porygon II moving so slowly just now? Magic Space hasn’t ended yet!”

”Because it was suppressed by Gyarados’s momentum.”

Adam’s tone was calm and unhurried, ”A weaker Pokémon in front of a powerful Pokémon can sometimes become immobile, and the Intimidation Trait makes this even clearer.

”Baimu’s Porygon II... Is it called Porygon II? It shouldn’t have been nurtured for very long, with insufficient battle experience, its flexibility and calculation ability are quite good, but its pressure resistance is not excellent.”

Powerful Pokémon often possess an aura that ordinary Pokémon do not, and for strong Trainers, utilizing this aura in battles is also a crucial aspect.

Porygon II’s issue isn’t major, it just needs more nurturing in terms of pressure resistance later... Guess it’s played too many easy battles.

In Pokémon nurturing, sometimes getting beaten is an important part.

”Ah—it’s really a pity, the first round could have been ended.”

Liuqia felt sorry for Baimu below and said: ”Now, it’s possible the first round might be lost to Uncle.”

”No.”

Adam shook his head, ”The first round is already over, look where Corsola is?”

Liuqia, upon hearing this, instinctively searched for Corsola where Porygon II was, only to find nothing, until the old butler Sebastian’s voice rang out again.

”Ludicolo lost the ability to fight! The Hall Master’s side is defeated! Now the second round begins! Please both sides exchange Trainer seats!”

”Eh?”

Liuqia looked at the floating platform where Ludicolo was in surprise, and then discovered on the platform guarded by Gyarados, Ludicolo had fallen forward, and a round stone entwined with vine-like gray-white was somehow resting on its head.

And Gyarados glared angrily at that stone.

”Grand Uncle! What exactly happened just now?” Liuqia looked swiftly at Adam.

Adam replied: ”When Gyarados attacked Porygon II, it quietly tossed Corsola from its back down, and at the same time, the final discharge of Thunder also caused certain paralysis on Gyarados, making it unable to pay full attention to Ludicolo.

”As for Corsola over there, it should have awakened when Tentacruel lost the ability to fight, after being tossed by Porygon II it immediately used Night Shadow Demon on Ludicolo, Ludicolo couldn’t withstand it.”

Liuqia listened, stunned, and couldn’t help but say while looking at the round stone: ”Were these strategies all thought up by Baimu from the beginning?”

”It should be... but whether by chance or intentional tactics, Mikoli falling into a disadvantage, remains indisputable.”

Adam had to admit, Baimu’s talent in Gorgeous Competition is outstanding.

But...

His talent in battle is equally moving!

Even though the Pokémon Mikoli used are not a champion lineup, as a former Champion’s Gym-trained Pokémon, it is far stronger than other Gym Pokémon by unknown measures.

Baimu being able to suppress Mikoli proves many things.

”Seventeen years old... it’s such a pity.”

Adam sighed deeply.

If he could time travel, he swore he would definitely rush to Baimu before he started nurturing Pokémon and take him under his wing for serious nurturing.

In this way, perhaps he could gain a disciple not inferior to Mikoli, possibly even surpassing Mikoli in the future.

The feeling of missing the rare human rights card pool of a limited edition made Adam distressed again.

Meanwhile, below.

Baimu and Mikoli each retrieved their Pokémon, changed positions, and the battle field shifted from a large pool to a special land and water composite venue.

”Thank you for your hard work, battling against a strong Trainer, indeed there is much to gain, your subsequent performance will be even more perfect.”

He comforted Porygon II.

As Adam thought, Porygon II indeed hadn’t fought many adversity-filled matches, even against his ”rival,” Rotom, the oppressive feeling wasn’t very high.

And although there are indeed one or two fierce Pokémon in the team, Porygon II knows them well enough to fear them less.

This small loss from Gyarados will surely become a cornerstone for future progress.

”You should rest well too, I’ll try not to make you work overtime again.”

Baimu patted another Pokeball.

Honestly speaking.

The head-taker in the first round was entirely Corsola, Porygon II’s output was clearly not low, yet due to various reasons it was forced to pave the way for it.
