Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 842: Chapter 540: Champion Sparring Partner_4

On the other hand, the hail continues to cause damage, accumulating over time to definitely have some impact.

The key issue is that despite repeated attacks, no significant effect has been achieved, and with the loss of the Dreepys, Dragapult’s breathing frequency has increased significantly.

The excessive tension has severely worsened its condition.

It failed to achieve victory in its first Gym Battle appearance, and instead, it encountered a foe like Walrein with strength far exceeding its own. Dragapult’s ability to withstand the pressure is evidently reaching its limit.

How did its level improve?

Was it merely by living long enough?

”Return!”

Baimu couldn’t allow this kind of Dragapult to stay on the field, decisively using a Pokeball to recall it, abandoning even the enhancement from Dragon Dance.

He softly instructed it to calm down, quickly sending out Hydreigon.

”Shaaa!”

Hydreigon’s high-pitched cry was filled with excitement, but the oncoming cold wind quickly calmed it down, prompting it to survey the situation.

All it saw was ice and snow.

The ice particles falling from the sky stung upon landing on its body.

”Achoo!”

The middle head of the Hydreigon sneezed.

Aversion to cold is a common trait among most Dragon-type Pokémon, only a select few with another Attribute that resists Ice Type or are Ice Type themselves can ignore it.

Fortunately, the fur from its neck to its back is quite thick, providing it much stronger endurance.

”Scheme!”

”Shaaa!”

Hydreigon growled lowly as it scrutinized various parts of Walrein’s body, its incredible aura gradually building up.

Compared to the introverted Dragapult, this guy’s personality is much more flamboyant, so even if the Energy Level isn’t much different, its attacking capability is far superior.

Thus, using a scheme to elevate its Special Attack to the utmost limit that it can endure, then delivering irreparable damage to Walrein in one swift strike!

Baimu’s plan was simple and direct.

But Mikoli isn’t a fool; how could he just sit by and let it successfully strengthen?

”Water Flow Ring! Powder Snow!”

”Blub!”

A wave of water suddenly appeared around Walrein, and in the blink of an eye, three cyan blue water columns formed, constantly rotating around it.

It then opened its large mouth, releasing countless tiny snowflakes that froze parts of the water ring into fragments of varying sizes—

A beautiful yet terrifying ring of ice shards was born!

”Blub!”

Walrein let out a deep bellow, and the three ice shard rings suddenly expanded and spread, rushing toward Hydreigon!

Baimu quickly shouted, ”Evade them! Then continue using Scheme!”

”Shaaa!”

Hydreigon fluttered its six wings, dodging back and forth, while the three rings of ice shards continuously swayed up and down, quickly spinning, sometimes expanding, sometimes contracting, forcing the former to evade instead of enhancing.

Ever since Dragonair was forced off the field earlier, it’s been holding back a sense of frustration.

It knows it truly stands no chance against Mega Swampert.

It accepts that!

But that was Mega Swampert!

What does it have to do with you?

When did anything random get to suppress me?

Hydreigon gazed at the seemingly unchallenged Walrein, with a continuous sheen of green on its body, lifting its upper body to manipulate the ice rings, and its three faces gradually turned ferocious as a murderous intent became almost uncontrollable.

Dodge, dodge, dodge—

Always dodging, always evading—

Suddenly.

It ceased evading, lowering its three heads slightly, allowing the ice shards to continuously strike and leave damp spots and ice fragments all over its body.

Baimu was slightly taken aback, watching the silent back of Hydreigon, and suddenly understood its mindset.

”If that’s the case... no more holding back.”

The moment the words were spoken.

”Shaaa——!!”

The ferocious roar thundered through the entire arena like a clap of lightning!

Hydreigon resembled a super volcano suddenly exploding, with its three bloody jaws emitting relentless terrifying howls!

The visually observable faint white sound waves crazily shook the air!

All around it, the orange-red airflow ascended unrestrainedly, continuously raising its momentum as if it will never stop growing, until even Adam couldn’t help feeling moved.

No matter how many Enhanced Techniques are used to enhance a Pokémon’s individual abilities, there are limits.

Why is Hydreigon able to rise again and again!?

Mikoli also lost focus for a moment, and when he came back to his senses, his right hand clenched into a fist unintentionally as he shouted:

”Charging—”

”Dragon’s Pulse!”

Wooo——!!

The deafening dragon roar overrode everything else.

Only to see a clawing Energy Giant Dragon burst from Hydreigon’s three maws, its dazzling radiant brilliance making it appear as grand as a Legendary dragon, carrying a chilling aura of destruction!

At the moment of deployment.

The three ice shard rings shattered into debris.

And as the Energy Giant Dragon roared forward, everything in its path, whether ice or stone, turned into a sky full of smoke and dust.

”Wooo!!”

The fierce jaws of Dragon’s Pulse swallowed Walrein whole!

Rumble, rumble, rumble——

The earth trembled wildly, attesting to the terrifying destructive power of Dragon’s Pulse.

Even more astonishingly, after consuming Walrein, it rushed straight toward the arena’s dome, unfurling its massive Dual Wings of Energy wildly, exploding with a bang upon impact!

Boom——!!

The explosion’s firelight and loud noise turned into a towering thick fog, completely covering the sky above.

The snowflakes stopped falling, evidently cleared by the explosion, leaving them no chance to regroup.

In the haze.

A colossal entity descended from the sky.

In the audience stands, Liuqia covered her ears, intending to take a closer look at the changes below, only to hear Baimu shouting again.

”It’s not over yet! Meteor Shower!”

”Absolute Zero!”
