Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 836: Chapter 538: I Am Elegance (Part 2)

Sure, here is the translation of the text:

As it maneuvered and whirled rapidly in the rain, the gravel in the sandpit stirred up, forming a terrifying sandstorm!

Boom——

[Quicksand Hell]!

This was the move that Baimu relied on to survive in Pyrite Town, and with subsequent training, it had become quite mature. The spread and torsion of the storm were already extraordinary.

The key is.

It should be able to affect the mobility of the Mega Swampert!

He looked up at the Mega Swampert dodging the sandstorm through jet propulsion in mid-air, and as he saw it suddenly descend halfway, he excitedly clenched his fist.

Success!

For the airbag of the Mega Swampert to function properly, it must absorb and compress air.

But the sand from Quicksand Hell can effectively ”pollute” the airbag, mixing in during inhalation, affecting the jet during expulsion!

Of course, an airbag with mud filtering effects won’t fail due to such minor issues.

During its Swampert stage, this was solely a ”filter” to allow it to breathe smoothly in murky water, and Baimu just wanted it to return to its original use.

Rather than have it fly around like a fly.

Isn’t it better for ground attribute Pokémon to move obediently on the ground?

”Elegant!”

Mikoli praised once more, his years as a Gorgeous Competition judge and Gym Leader always led to a reflexive reaction upon witnessing brilliant performances.

He had to admit that Baimu’s move was impressive.

It showcased Baimu’s ability to respond on the spot and his understanding of Pokémon like Swampert.

When the Trainer and Pokémon grow strong together.

A mesmerizing chemical change is born, and Mikoli was deeply moved by it, and this emotion, through the Mind Chain, was conveyed to the Mega Swampert that had fallen into the pool.

Indeed.

The opponent is a formidable adversary worthy of their full effort!

Splashing water could not obscure its eyes filled with intense calmness and a hint of a smile.

Seeing this scene vaguely through the wind and rain, Baimu and Mega Aggron felt a tremor in their hearts.

What qualities do the Champion’s Pokémon possess?

The most direct quality.

No matter what crisis they’re in, they maintain enough composure, strictly following their Trainer’s instructions—

And then they reverse the situation in one move!

”Earthquake!”

”Lagoo!!”

BOOM——!!

A deafening explosion!

As the Mega Swampert’s fists struck the water’s surface, the light brown shockwave instantly swept up the dwindling pool water, turning it into a huge wave crashing towards the Quicksand Hell!

Boom!

The huge wave collided with Quicksand Hell, and the latter was instantly destroyed as if it had melted, while the rotating sandpit on the ground was also buried by the muddy water, turning into a mire.

The air in the field became fresh once again.

Relentless clouds continued to pour down rain, the original pool was now akin to a puddle, with the Mega Swampert standing in it, showered by the rain, its airbag on the back and arms slightly bulging, trickles of muddy water flowing out.

Self-cleaning.

Very important, and very simple.

”Lagoo...”

”...”

Baimu’s expression was very serious, as Mega Swampert’s mobility was enough to influence the change of the battle’s situation.

Despite Mega Aggron having the Explosive Leap technique, if the former solely focused on evasion, it would be quite difficult to hit it normally.

At the moment, there’s only one course of action.

To fight back as before until the rain ends, and then launch a counterattack when the rain is over.

Baimu must be grateful that Mega Aggron is a tough Pokémon, otherwise, even stalling for time would be a mere luxury. How many moves from Mega Swampert can an average Pokémon withstand?

Obviously, Mikoli also saw through his plan.

This former Champion asked aloud:

”Baimu, what do you think elegance is?”

”...Composed and dignified, confident and unshaken.”

Baimu hesitated for a few seconds and responded to the query.

Though he didn’t quite understand why Mikoli didn’t seize the moment to attack, since the rain wouldn’t stop for a conversation, talking more had its benefits.

”Bravo~!”

Mikoli gently clapped and then shook his head, saying, ”Unfortunately, such an answer is too general. Do you know my answer?”

”...I’m not sure.”

”I, am elegance!”

In Baimu’s stunned expression, he lightly tapped his chest, smiling serenely: ”Beauty and wisdom are what I paint, matching the water’s illusion with my elegance. And most importantly—

”All my words and actions are elegance!!”

Mikoli raised his hands high like he was praying, his tone soaring as if singing loudly, his handsome face filled with self-infatuation.

Influenced by him, Mega Swampert also raised its head high.

Madman?

No.

This was Mikoli’s self-enlightenment after taking a broad view of life.

”...”

Baimu furrowed his brows, feeling no joy from the delay of time, instead sensing a crisis as if the boss was about to enter the second phase.

Soon, his premonition was confirmed.

”Water Flow Rupture.”

Mikoli gave the command as he did initially.

However.

Something was different.

”Careful—”

Swish...

Boom!!

Like a sharp needle piercing the eardrum, the sudden explosion made Baimu’s vision shake fiercely.

The shimmering blue water burst like particles of light, disappearing into the air.

”Roar!”

The low growl of Mega Aggron entered his ears, hiding a hint of pain.

He fixed his gaze and suddenly saw Mega Swampert again in front of Mega Aggron, still in the initial punching pose.

A blue downdraft appeared abruptly.

”Avalanche!”

Baimu’s shout brought Mega Aggron back from pain, and it suddenly reached toward Mega Swampert with its claws, roaring upward.

In an instant.

A small cloud gathered above the latter’s head.

Mega Swampert stepped back to retreat, yet was grabbed by Mega Aggron, and as it broke free, countless large ice blocks fell like torrential rain.

Thud, thud, thud—

The explosions continued.

However, halfway through the pummeling, Mega Swampert had already freed itself from Mega Aggron’s claws, flashing to the rear in its unwilling gaze.

Avalanche, when used after being attacked, the damage doubles.

But being neither its type nor an exceptionally effective move, even if the damage doubles, it’s still insufficient to defeat Mega Swampert.

And unfortunately, Mega Swampert’s attack this time was very effective, successfully lowering the defense boost brought by Iron Wall.

Not only that.

This time, Mega Swampert attacked Mega Aggron’s abdomen, and the irregular small dents on the steel armor there proved its attack was extraordinary.

”How to make water more penetrating and destructive? It’s simple, just increase water pressure.”

Mikoli said with a full smile.

His words made Baimu look at Mega Swampert’s right fist, and suddenly saw a fine stream trickling from the bottom of its three air sacs on its right arm.

”For Mega Swampert, air is not the only thing it can use to spray for acceleration.”

Has it swapped air for water?

No wonder the jetting sound was so strange just now.

Had it been slightly slower, he might have reacted, regrettably Mega Swampert’s attack speed was hard to follow with the naked eye!

As for what Mikoli said...

Either way, Baimu couldn’t understand the connection between jetting and spraying water to increase water pressure, being semi-illiterate after reincarnation, and having already returned his knowledge to teachers back in college before reincarnation.

The key was that the water in Mega Swampert’s air sacs was likely collected by Mikoli while declaring himself.

Sure enough, the Champion is by no means a fool.

Occasionally using some special little tricks.

So when he thought he could delay the rainy time, the other party was actually also delaying time and preparing to launch a ferocious attack.

”Do you feel it? Big Monster.”

Baimu slowly unbuttoned his chest.

”Roaring.”

Mega Aggron responded to him with heavy breathing.

Since setting off on the journey, he hadn’t felt this kind of sensation for a long time.

The feeling of having a giant rock pressing over his head, needing to rack his brains to use all means to fight, each step like walking a tightrope!

”Let’s win together!”

With a big hand toss, his jacket was flung behind him like a cloak.

Mega Aggron clenched its fists with both claws, with its tail flicking to the ground, it fiercely clashed its chest.

Bang!

”Roar!”
