Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 829: Chapter 535: The Power of Intimidation

Porygon II is aware that its fundamental strength doesn’t match the top tier.

Therefore, it is determined that before it grows, it will fulfill the role of a perfect assistant with its numerous Transformation Techniques.

But can a self-concerned assistant be considered a good assistant!?

Even though the Trainer’s command not to evade led it to be entangled by tentacles, Porygon II still took the inability to escape in time as its own responsibility.

Especially upon discovering the immediate threat to Corsola.

”Pary!!”

Aid!

Aid!

The stick-like Porygon II dashed swiftly toward Corsola.

Baimu clenched his fist, equally tense, shouting, ”Corsola, use——”

However.

”Tentacruel, pull Ludicolo back!”

Facing a critically weak Corsola, even with the Light Wall, which was likely to lose its battle capability after being attacked, Mikoli chose to retreat.

Tentacruel at the edge of the field suddenly pulled Ludicolo from the floating board to its side.

”Eh? Why?”

Liuqia was quite puzzled.

Adam said, ”This avoids giving Corsola the chance to come into contact. If Mikoli chooses to attack, then Ludicolo awaits [Shared Fate]. Even if the attack isn’t directed at Corsola, it would take the initiative to approach.”

After he finished speaking.

Seeing Mikoli’s smiling expression in the distance, Baimu frowned and changed his command, ”Sleep! Porygon II transform and carry it!”

If this drags on, Corsola will be taken down by the Parasitic Seed and poison.

”Sigh...”

Corsola glanced sorrowfully at Mikoli, it could have clocked out with the honorable achievement of taking down one and a half opponents, why be so clever?

Coral is fuming!

Its candle-like eyes dimmed as it fell into slumber, its body emitting a luminous green glow that constantly sent out waves.

The [Sleep] state from [Rest] replaced the [Poison] state, successfully restoring its energy to its maximum recovery limit.

Although it couldn’t get rid of the Parasitic Seed, it wouldn’t fall because of it in a short time.

In ordinary battles, this move was enough to be considered a ”reversal.”

”Tsk.”

Baimu clicked his tongue softly.

Indeed, those who become Champion Trainers aren’t as rash and won’t be easily fooled as ordinary people.

And seeing Mikoli and his two Pokémon not take the bait, Porygon II’s unusual expression immediately faded, it was indeed unwilling, but it wouldn’t show it obviously.

It was just a trick to lure Mikoli into the trap.

Sometimes, acting is quite important in battle, once the opponent impatiently seeks victory, losing the ability of calm judgment, even a slight display of anxiety and urgency would greatly mislead the opponent.

Unfortunately...

”Pary!”

Porygon II plunged into the water, splashing a great deal of water.

Poof!

When the water settled.

Porygon II had already risen, carrying the sleeping Corsola and looked down upon Tentacruel and Ludicolo in the pool.

The former was cursed, continuously draining its energy, and lacked quick recovery techniques like Self-Rebirth...

Not a major concern.

What’s necessary to take down quickly is Ludicolo, its energy depletion would be replenished by the Parasitic Seed, holding out until the Magic Space ended would not be ideal.

Seizing the moment while Porygon II had a speed advantage over them.

”Substitute!”

Baimu decisively flipped Porygon II’s trump card, which had been practicing hard but never demonstrated in actual combat.

[Clone]!

”Pary!”

A data stream-like pale green light strip flew out from Porygon II’s body, gradually forming into a circular entity of the same proportions.

”Hmm?”

Mikoli observed the new Porygon II, as a strong Trainer’s intuition alerted him that something felt off——

”Instant Movement!”

Whoosh!

The new Porygon II suddenly vanished in mid-air.

Mikoli was stunned for a moment, suddenly waved and shouted, ”Water Flow Ring! Frozen Wind!”

”Puff puff——”

Tentacruel spewed bubbles, stirring the pool water into a glowing blue water ring.

Ludicolo opened its flat duckbill, about to unleash Frozen Wind, when suddenly a cascading green light burst down from the sky.

Boom!

”Roar Pah!”

Water mist exploded amid Ludicolo’s cries.

Tentacruel’s glowing blue water ring abruptly rolled outward like turbulent tides, yet failed to hit any target.

Next moment.

”Discharging.”

Crash!!

Frenzied electric serpents twisted and surged from the pool’s depths, enveloping Tentacruel and Ludicolo like a cage, the high-temperature current evaporated massive water mist while also inflicting considerable damage on the two Pokémon.

Their bodies quivered, twisted underwater.

In the audience, Liuqia’s eyes widened, ”Eh? How come?”

”A Clone capable of using techniques...”

Adam displayed a slightly grave expression.

As a Hall Master, he knew well that once the Clone could use techniques, even if it had only one-fourth the strength of the original, it would play a decisive role in the battle.

What’s more important, Baimu gradually grasped the rhythm of the battle.

In the field.

Mikoli’s surprised expression shifted to admiration, he said, ”That was truly an unexpected strike, but the offensive capability is still lacking...

”Mud Wave! Use Absorption Fist on the Porygon II in the sky!”

Indeed, as he said, the Porygon II Clone did not inherit the changes in the original’s abilities, discharging spread damage failed to achieve a double knockout outcome.

This partly relates to Porygon II’s low level.
