Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 843: Chapter 540: Champion Sparring Partner_5

Mikoli’s voice soon echoed.

A brilliant violet-red light appeared first, then shattered into countless small light clusters.

Whoosh!

A gust of wind suddenly swept across the entire field, completely dispersing the thick fog.

Liuqia widened her eyes and saw a ferocious Hydreigon radiating a blue-violet light charging forward, surrounded by numerous pulsating violet-red light balls, like a dance of stars!

”Sha-sa—!!”

Not far away.

A Walrein, covered in black marks, raised its head and suddenly spewed forth an endless stream of snowy white cold air toward the ground!

Everything that the cold stream swept over froze into ice.

Even the leading violet-red light balls of Hydreigon were frozen.

But just when Liuqia was worried, those frozen violet-red light balls suddenly exploded like grenades touched by a fuse!

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

She had to cover her ears again, and the flames from the exploding violet-red light balls continuously clashed with the snowy cold stream, forming pale white smoke that completely engulfed the two Pokémon.

By now.

Liuqia could no longer tell which side was gaining the upper hand.

Baimu? Mikoli?

Maybe after the smoke clears, she will get the answer she wants.

Liuqia nervously clasped her fingers in front of her, silently praying for Baimu and Hydreigon, realizing that it was most likely the latter’s final outburst.

If it doesn’t work...

Was this Gym Battle going to be lost?

It can’t be!

Aggron and the others had already fought hard to the last moment!

She stared intently at the dissipating smoke below, the first thing revealed was an ice sculpture, completely freezing the enraged Hydreigon into an ice sculpture.

”Ah...”

Liuqia groaned, but the next second she covered her mouth.

Because there was another half of the ice sculpture—

A Walrein, covered in scorch marks and with its head lowered, half of its body also frozen, with its fins being bitten by Hydreigon’s small head.

”—Walrein and Hydreigon are unable to battle! The Gym Leader’s side has no Pokémon left to use!”

Old Butler Sebastian raised the flag, and his slightly aged voice was heard by everyone.

”I declare! Challenger Baimu wins the victory!”

”Yay!!”

Liuqia jumped up joyfully, grabbed the wing of the Altaria beside her, and started a joyful duet dance.

In the field.

Baimu, drenched head to toe, slowly crouched down and grabbed the clothes he had thrown on the ground.

”Ah...”

He dreamily clenched his fist.

Finally, finally, he won!

This was certainly the hardest battle he experienced since the match at Pyrite Arena with Shanren, with most of his Pokémon reaching their limits.

It was too difficult.

But he won!

All thanks to the final furious outburst of Hydreigon, forcing out power beyond its usual form.

For the first time, Baimu enjoyed the ”Burst Seed” of Pokémon.

It was this foundation that allowed the previously experimental [Meteor Swarm Charge] to succeed. It was, without a doubt, a very effective approach.

Dangerous, yes.

It ultimately allowed Hydreigon to successfully take Walrein down with it, giving it no chance to recover.

Baimu put on his coat, put the frozen Hydreigon back into its ball, and took out the Pokeballs of all the Pokémon that participated in the battle.

”Thank you all! We won! We won completely!”

No response was received.

Which is normal.

Aggron was exhausted, Corsola rarely responded to him, Dragapult typically wouldn’t respond, but this time it probably shut down, given it was disgracefully cornered by Walrein.

The other four were still unconscious.

Baimu was thinking about how to comfort Dragapult at night. That guy always stayed silent, and developing a psychological problem wouldn’t be good.

To encounter such a situation in its first official battle was perhaps his lack of foresight?

There’s no choice.

This was the only Gym Battle left.

Rebuilding confidence may have to wait until the Ever Grande Conference, as long as there wasn’t someone like Ash Ketchum, who traveled through many regions and had a strength fluctuating between Gym Leader and Celestial King.

”Did something happen?”

Mikoli’s voice came through his ears again.

Baimu turned his head, and found that compared to his somewhat embarrassed self, Mikoli was spotless, as if it wasn’t him who battled just now.

”No, just thinking about how to review this battle.”

”Review... as I thought, you are a very serious person like I imagined.”

Mikoli’s smile was a little odd, it was not the first time he encountered someone... who after winning a match would review the battle.

But Baimu was definitely the strongest among them.

He took out a badge crafted from three drops of water from his pocket and said: ”This is the Glazed Badge you rightly earned. Honestly, this battle greatly refreshed my perception of you.”

”Uh... thanks.”

Baimu accepted the badge, a bit unsure how to respond to Mikoli’s words.

”In any case, I have a report for Da Wu. As a descendant of the Glazed People, I recognize your strength, and as a Master of the Gorgeous Competition, I can’t help but look forward to your future...”

Mikoli said a long string without taking a breath, finally smiling and patting Baimu on the shoulder, ”I hope you don’t feel regret that I didn’t choose Milotic.”

Hearing him say this.

Baimu suddenly blurted out:

”Then will I have another chance to battle with you?”

”Of course—”

”There will be a chance!”

Before Mikoli could finish speaking, Liuqia’s voice rang out as she hurried over with Altaria, followed by Adam.

”My uncle will be staying at the Gym for the next few months, definitely no problem!”

She gave Baimu a thumbs up, then looked at Mikoli, who was clueless, ”Right, Uncle?”

”But, my next vacation...”

The man known in the community as the Prince Shui twitched at the corner of his eyes, his gaze circled the expectant faces of Liuqia and Baimu, then looked at the smiling Adam and could only smile bitterly.

”Occasionally having a heated battle is indeed an elegant affair~”

Mikoli seemed to be persuading himself.

Baimu happily said: ”Much appreciated!”

In a place where Adam and Mikoli couldn’t see, Baimu secretly gave Liuqia a big thumbs up.

You’re amazing!

Teacher Liuu!

You are my hero!
