Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 530: Chapter 398: Garchomp’s Evolution

”Fraxure, return!”

Alice shouted loudly, a beam of red light flashed and withdrew the sleeping Fraxure.

The deeply inhaling Milotic couldn’t release that mouthful of Frozen Qi, feeling a bit disappointed.

”Milo~”

In its first battle after evolving against another Trainer, Milotic wanted to win impressively and take down the opponent in one fell swoop, but unexpectedly, the opponent retreated just like that.

Really unsatisfying!

”Don’t rush, pay attention to the opponent’s actions.”

Baimu spoke soothingly, somewhat surprised by Alice’s decisiveness.

To swap out Fraxure so promptly and precisely, it seems the idea of switching arose when Milotic tangled Fraxure with its tail.

Most Trainers in animations belong to the category of not swapping until they fall, this one has clearly transcended the typical Trainer domain.

However.

The gap in strength between the two sides is too obvious.

Though only two or three moves were exchanged, Milotic has already effectively suppressed Fraxure, and if it’s a head-to-head battle, victory is just a matter of time.

In this regard, Baimu himself was actually more surprised than Alice.

Due to the limitations of Feebas’s form, Baimu seldom fielded it in battles after leaving Verdanturf Town, mostly engaging in internal matches.

Didn’t expect the performance to be this good—

Or perhaps Fraxure is just too poor?

Baimu realized that the current Fraxure is still in its growth phase... it’s harsh to say but it’s in a mediocre middle stage, far from being able to shoulder heavy tasks.

The baby phase lasted too long.

A year of traveling with Ash Ketchum without evolving, it’s not just the protagonist being suppressed but even the supporting characters are getting cut.

He gazed at Alice, who hadn’t released a second Pokémon for a long time, ”What’s wrong? Didn’t you say you wanted me to feel the emotions of Dragon-type Pokémon? With this level of strength, maybe struggling even to lose slowly is an issue.”

”—Hmph! Just considering the strategy a bit! Go! Gible!”

Alice threw the Pokeball.

Bang!

A white light flickered.

The chubby and round Gible landed on the ground.

”Frozen Beam!”

Baimu unhesitatingly commanded.

”Milo!”

Milotic slightly opened its mouth, the icy blue orb quickly formed and shot out several jagged lightning-like streaks, sparking with cracks as if freezing the air.

Alice hurriedly shouted, ”Dig down quickly!”

”Fuka!”

Gible swiftly dug into the ground, narrowly dodging the icy blue lightning, leaving the entrance instantly frozen by sharp crystalline clusters.

Fast reactions?

Baimu was slightly surprised, thinking the previous strike would easily take it down.

”Stay calm, keep an eye on your surroundings!”

He loudly reminded Milotic, who had too little battle experience and might become nervous in such situations.

Luckily, Milotic remained somewhat composed, focusing entirely on the ground, unable to promptly respond to the Trainer’s words, too eager to perform well.

The ground trembled slightly, indicating Gible’s underground movement.

If it were another Pokémon using Digging, he might use Black Mist or White Mist to affect its judgment and the Trainer’s, but unfortunately, Gible, like Garchomp, can sense the opponent’s location using the spindle-shaped organ on both sides of its head.

Using it would be a waste.

Sure enough.

The gravel on the ground vibrated continuously, paused here, and leaped there, signifying that Gible was intentionally circling Milotic underground.

Apparently trying to avoid direct sight, looking for a suitable breakthrough point.

”Can even sense being watched? That’s so bugged...”

Baimu observed the gravel moving ground, murmuring softly.

And finally.

Gible found its opportunity.

Boom!

It burst out from the ground behind Milotic’s slanting rear, soaring high with its mouth full of terrifying blue Dragon Flame.

”Dragon’s Pulse!”

Alice shouted sweetly.

Baimu’s voice followed closely, ”On your right rear! Scald!”

Whoosh!!

The fierce Energy Dragon Head rushed out, roaring as it rubbed against the air, but unfortunately, it missed Milotic’s body and collided with a scalding flow of water!

Boom!

The azure blue light flickered amidst smoke, hot steaming water spread, covering both Pokémon.

With the Mysterious Waterdrop enhancement, Milotic’s Scald neutralized Gible’s Dragon’s Pulse, which was stronger than anticipated!

”Blizzard!”

Baimu’s shout rang out again.

In the next instant.

The icy blue current mixed with pure white snowflakes dispersed the hot steam, coating the ground with a layer of white frost—

Missing the Gible.

This guy hid in the dug hole, evading Milotic’s Blizzard.

Alice displayed a bright smile as if everything was planned, ”Meteor Shower!”

Gible inside the hole opened its large mouth, a ghostly violet light orb formed suddenly and shot into the sky, exploding into countless ghostly violet meteors falling down.

Even though it’s the same Meteor Shower, this guy’s release speed is much faster than Hydreigon’s, though the power is also considerably lower, Baimu was clear the power should be related to Gible’s Special Attack Ability Value.

More importantly.

”Different color?”

Baimu carefully observed the falling meteor shower, then shouted, ”Diffuse Water Flow Ring to meet it!”

”Milo!”

The tense Milotic responded, with its body glowing pale blue, three light blue swirling streams gathered from the void, under its control rapidly spinning and expanding, tilting towards the falling meteor shower to collide!
