Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 500: Chapter 386: Fallarbor Conference (2)

What he didn’t know was that after her patrol, Miss Jun Sha excitedly took a photo of the signature and posted it in a chat group called ”Mawile Fan Club.”

And within just one minute, it garnered hundreds of replies.

At the same time.

More and more fans of the Gorgeous Competition were flocking towards Fallarbor Town to watch his match.

——

”Show off your Pokémon! Let me show off my Pokémon!”

”The Gorgeous Competition, where people and Pokémon meet and connect~”

Brown-haired Vivian held a microphone and recited the opening speech, ”Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for waiting! The Pokémon Gorgeous Competition Fallarbor Conference is finally about to begin!”

Applause rippled through the stadium, cheers erupted like waves, and the spirited audience was fixated on the stage.

Three figures, very familiar to Baimu, appeared.

”Let’s welcome the Deputy Director of the Conference Affairs Bureau, Mr. Patistan!”

The gray-haired middle-aged man bowed respectfully.

”Mr. Liu Lai from the Pokémon Fan Club!”

The handsome young man flipped his bangs.

”And Miss Joy from the Fallarbor Town Pokémon Center!”

Miss Joy smiled and bowed.

”These three judges will conduct the first round of evaluation of the contestants!”

Vivian raised her hand, and a huge silver screen above the venue displayed a pink silk, the metal piece was a hexagonal Ribbon Medal, ”The Coordinator Trainer and Pokémon who win this tournament will receive the Fallarbor Ribbon Medal.

”Those who earn five Gorgeous Competition Ribbon Medals will have the opportunity to participate in the Pokémon Gorgeous Festival! Without further ado, let’s welcome the first contestant!”

Under the gaze of many.

The first contestant walked onto the stage, extremely nervous.

In the preparation room.

Having changed into the Molten Rock Armor for the Gorgeous Competition, Baimu sat on a long bench, enduring the gazes from various contestants, as if they were watching a fearsome beast.

However, not everyone was like that.

There were quite a few who greeted him friendly, but without exception, they all received a ”cold shoulder.” Baimu, preparing for battle, had no interest in conversing with strangers and politely declined all topics.

On the other hand.

As the competition continued, everyone’s attention returned to the stage; no matter how they focused on a formidable opponent, their performance scores wouldn’t improve.

It was better to pay attention to whether their own scores could rank ahead of eight or four others.

Baimu watched others’ performances for a while, realizing that the threshold for combination performances might be higher than he anticipated, with many making mistakes.

Moreover, there were more who simplified their performances to reduce the error rate.

These rather clumsy contestants highlighted the dedicated, skillful Coordinator Trainers, making performances that could only be considered average online still draw cheers and applause.

The performance scores were also slightly higher than normal.

There were already five contestants with scores above 29, but none above 29.5, clearly showing the judges were still clear-headed, unaffected by the atmosphere of the scene.

Two teams were worth being cautious of—

The Illumise and Volbeat painting team, the Solrock and Lunatone Sun and Moon duo.

Despite relying on corresponding Pokémon for coordination, their performances were actually amazing; in Baimu’s eyes, both in terms of grandeur and concept, they were no less impressive than the performance of Blissey and Mawile.

”There are still skilled people out there...”

He muttered softly.

Thus, if Blissey and Mawile want to surpass these two teams in scores, it’ll depend on whether they can complete their performance in one smooth go.

The results of their long practice were about to be showcased.

Soon after.

It was Baimu’s turn to take the stage.

The gazes of many contestants in the preparation room followed his movements and shifted to the screen in the room once the door closed.

The once noisy environment quickly quieted down, with almost everyone staring at the venue, waiting for his appearance. Even some contestants uninterested in him couldn’t help but be engulfed by the preparation room’s atmosphere.

As if the final boss at the end of a level was about to make an entrance.

At the conference venue.

Vivian’s voice remained passionate as she bid farewell to the previous contestant and extended an inviting gesture towards the entrance tunnel.

”Let’s welcome the next contestant!”

Baimu walked out slowly.

Whether it was an illusion or not, the moment he was exposed to the spotlight, the entire venue seemed to fall silent for a split second, followed by screams erupting like ignited flames from all directions.

The audience seating filled with cheers, with Gorgeous Competition enthusiasts shouting his name. In the front row, girls in cheerleader uniforms stood up, energetically dancing and chanting in unison and loudly.

In the judges’ booth, Mr. Patistan and Mr. Liu Lai smiled as they simultaneously massaged their Qingming Acupoint and rubbed their ears, keeping their eyes and ears in optimal condition.

This is the treatment for a top-tier Coordinator Trainer.

The scene was filled with constant chatter.

”What’s with this guy? So exaggerated!”

”Mawile! Mawile!”

”I’ve waited a month for him to come to Fallarbor Town! Choosing a larger town to wait in was the right decision after all!”

”Totally worth it!”

”Girls, did you see? A live Gorgeous Competition with Baimu and Mawile? Are you envious?”

The thunderous noise was almost lifting the venue’s roof.

Couldn’t be helped.

Among the Gorgeous Competition contestants across Hoenn Land, Baimu and Mawile were undoubtedly one of the most sought-after Coordinator Trainer pairings.
