Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 476: Chapter 376: Consecutive Battles Against the Overlord

The scene fast-forwards gradually.

The narrator continues to spill out various introductory words.

Information of all kinds flashes before Baimu’s eyes.

Among them, the story of the transfer student resolving the rampant Raticate and Rattata crisis in Alola, participating in the Island Pilgrimage, and passing the major trial of the Island King Hara appeared in the newspaper that same afternoon.

Although it’s unclear who spread the news.

In just one day, the news almost spread throughout the entire Melemele Island.

So much so that the next day, when the female student went to school, she was warmly welcomed by her classmates, instantly transforming from a strange transfer student into a hot sensation.

At the same time, the female student gained genuine friendships.

As for the two pixelated figures resembling members of the Skeleton Team, they completely vanished, perhaps because they were outside the female student’s area of concern.

The big reaction stemmed from the fact that the Island Pilgrimage requires the approval of the Island King to proceed, and those who successfully pass the major trial and obtain the Z Bracelet and Z Pure Crystal are very few.

In other words, regardless of difficulty, its prestige is certainly much higher than Gym challenges in other regions.

”All the fast-forwarded parts are just daily activities...”

Baimu blinked. Although the female student started the Island Pilgrimage, she still had ”studies” to attend to, and couldn’t just drop out to participate in the Island Pilgrimage.

Moreover, she wasn’t the only one from the same school participating in the Island Pilgrimage.

Seeing this, he roughly guessed that the determination of the overall grade might be related to the progress of the female student’s Island Pilgrimage within a year. However, it was unclear whether passing the major trials of four islands allowed one to qualify for the tournament, or if there was another evaluation method.

Suddenly.

A stream of narration caught his attention.

[After learning that the school would soon conduct an outdoor course on Akala Island, you set it as your second goal and began strategically preparing for it. In addition to diligently training the two existing Pokémon, you also used the knowledge learned from your mother to create various bombs with Tree Fruits, herbs, Pokémon scales, and powders.]

Baimu: ”Is she participating in the Island Pilgrimage or going to war...?”

Speaking of Akala Island ... he remembered that in the game and animation, the current Island Queen was called Lizi. However, in the animated background, the former Island King was Kaqi’s grandfather.

Whether this simulation takes place a long time ago depends on who the Island King or Island Queen is.

As the scene shifted.

The female student, along with numerous classmates, arrived in a big city.

[You followed the outdoor course group to Kangdai City, the gateway to Akala Island, built by many Trainers who have been to Johto and Kanto.]

The outdoor course started from there.

Baimu watched the fragmented simulation content, noticing that it was similar to courses that Ash Ketchum participated in, such as searching for various dropped items while riding a Mudsdale.

Unfortunately, no one was as lucky as Shui Lian to find a Radiant Stone and have Lizi craft a Z Bracelet.

But during the cooking class.

The simulator’s fragmented playback ceased.

The female student and another pixelated figure appeared in a dense jungle, searching for something.

[You and your classmate traversed the Shady Jungle in search of ingredients to cook Akala Curry and successfully found a Mago Berry and Revival Herb. However, the Miracle Seed could not be found at the registered location, leading you to suspect that other teams might have picked them all.]

Baimu perked up, knowing the main plot was about to commence.

As expected, due to the inability to find Miracle Seeds on the outskirts of the jungle, the female student attempted to search deeper within.

However, her classmate refused.

[Your classmate said that the depths of the Shady Jungle are incredibly dangerous, with rumors of being home to an Overlord Pokémon, sparking your curiosity. You knew that Overlord Pokémon held Z Pure Crystals, which you could obtain by defeating them.]

[You chose to split from your classmate, asking her to take the Mago Berry and Revival Herb back while you delved further in search of the Miracle Seed.]

The decisive female student soon vanished into the jungle, but she likely didn’t reach an agreement with the other classmate, who appeared torn, anxiously fidgeting on the spot.

The scene shifted once more.

The female student advanced boldly through the lush forest, accompanied by the released Rowlet and Mimikyu, indicating that she hadn’t yet grown overconfident to venture out alone.

Various hidden corners kept popping up pixelated Wild Pokémon, making the female student show a drooling expression in a speech bubble above her head.

[Looking at the Wild Pokémon before you, you recalled that the elders had mentioned that the subsequent major trial and grand trial would require more Pokémon, so you decided to seize the opportunity to capture a new Pokémon.]

Is she going to capture a new Pokémon!

But could there be Pokémon suitable for a bomb enthusiast like the female student in the Shady Jungle?

The answer was a resounding yes.

When the female student crawled into an underground cave in search of the Miracle Seed, she discovered a peculiar mushroom emitting a faint glow, featuring three caps and a plump, white body.

[You’ve discovered a Morelull, one of the Pokémon you sought, so you resolutely nudged it awake to attempt a capture.]

She even specifically woke it up, living up to the title of a kind-hearted person.

Though her method of waking it...

Baimu watched silently as the female student poked the Morelull’s cap seven or eight times, awakening it from its slumber, and before it could react, she abruptly declared her intention to capture it.

Morelull, bewildered, had no choice but to engage in battle with Rowlet and was eventually captured in defeat.
