Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 495: Chapter 383: First Mega Evolution Trial

Baimu understood, but Aggron didn’t comprehend because it didn’t understand.

So the former explained the content carefully to it, including the concept of the Mind Chain, and only then did the latter come to an understanding.

The Hydreigon nearby also heard, and though it seemed unrelated, it remembered the information, thinking it might be useful someday.

When that time comes, its Trainer will definitely praise it.

After observing Baimu and Aggron closely, Elder Qing Liu continued, ”Don’t worry if you don’t succeed once. Failing in Super Evolution is normal. Just try a few more times.”

”I understand.”

Baimu gently stroked Aggron’s heavy steel armor, the cold touch calming his initially restless heart quickly.

He looked into the latter’s eyes, and an intense desire emerged unconsciously.

To evolve!

To successfully complete this Super Evolution!

Their eyes revealed the same intention.

”Hiss... Huff...”

Baimu took several deep breaths to adjust his state, then placed his hand on the Key Stone again, and softly asked, ”Are you ready?”

”Roar!”

Aggron growled in a low voice.

The moment he touched the Key Stone, their beings intensified suddenly, an obscure feeling became clear, like a shadow gradually unveiling the veil.

No need for any clichéd lines or templates.

As both released their minds’ chains to each other with shared empathy, creating an unbreakable bond quickly, Baimu subconsciously murmured:

”Super, Evolution!”

”Roar!!”

A multicolored light and dazzling white glow lit up from Aggron’s body, countless chains of light shot out.

They connected with the chains released from the Key Stone in Baimu’s hand.

Both of their hearts instantly grew heavy, as if some heavy weight pressed upon their hearts, leading to an unspeakable burden, but all was still within their endurance.

In an instant, Aggron’s body underwent dramatic changes.

First, the horn on its forehead resembling a long needle rapidly retracted and extended upward, forming blade-like long horns.

Its body slightly leaned forward, its chest, abdomen, and back continually stretched into large and heavy armor, two long spikes protruded from the back of its arms, and its shoulders rose like throwing knives.

Its limbs and tail became sturdier, almost evolving from a light tank into the king of heavy tanks!

The glow faded away.

The silver body was revealed in the sunlight, like a moving metal fortress.

”Roar...”

Mega Aggron exhaled white smoke from its mouth, but its face couldn’t show much joy because the power from Super Evolution was too immense, almost swallowing its thoughts.

It finally understood why its heart sunk just now.

Energy!

Seemingly inexhaustible energy!

Even though it rarely experienced attribute energy exhaustion, being filled to almost breaking through its body armor now, the overflowing power still frightened it immensely.

Super Evolution, turned out to be such a difficult endeavor!

With some difficulty, it turned to look at Baimu, whose expression was also somewhat strange.

Evidently, the oppression felt by both was equal, clearly transmitted between them through the Mind Chain.

”Roar—”

Mega Aggron tried to extend its claws, but as soon as it stretched halfway, the surface quickly glowed with colors, as if disappearing.

It returned to its original form.

”Roar... Roar...”

”Huff...”

Aggron and Baimu panted heavily, one with forehead sweat.

Never imagined just maintaining a Super Evolution state would be so mentally consuming, even triggering an automatic reversal.

Failure?

They instinctively looked at Elder Qing Liu.

”Not bad, not bad~”

The latter pinched his beard, nodding with satisfaction, ”Being able to reach this level on the first Super Evolution is indeed commendable, with a little more sense of urgency, it might even be feasible to go directly into battle.”

”Really... Is it?”

”Of course! You can be confident, even I, during my younger days, needed thorough training before successfully achieving Super Evolution with Altaria.”

Elder Qing Liu looked at Aggron with undisguised admiration, ”Suppressing that rampaging power without being devoured or influenced, your Aggron is strong both in strength and mind!”

Such praise.

Baimu and Aggron exchanged glances, both smiling.

Suddenly.

A shout came from afar.

”Lei Gong! Why is Lei Gong here!”

”What’s it here for? Wait! Don’t let it get too close!”

Finally, the Litten appeared...

Baimu raised his eyebrows slightly, then, as if realizing something, his expression changed rapidly, putting down the Key Stone, ”I’ll go take a look, I’ll leave this Rocket Team to you!”

”Good... Why is he running so fast?”

Elder Qing Liu just nodded, discovered the other party had already run over twenty meters, closely followed by Hydreigon like a tag-along.

So urgent!

You’d say he’s running to Lei Gong, but he’s not taking Aggron along, maybe he just wants to watch the excitement?

Confusing, confusing.

Elder Qing Liu shook his head repeatedly.

On another side.

Baimu quickly arrived near the elder’s home, indeed seeing Lei Gong standing in the courtyard, indifferently watching the Meteor People and Dragon-type Pokémon surrounding it.

Facing a group of strangers, Lei Gong often showed not aloofness, but hidden hostility.

”Wait a minute! It’s a misunderstanding! This is all a misunderstanding! It’s my friend!”

He ran in front of Lei Gong, stretched out his hand to block, and explained to the Meteor People, ”The reason I know Rocket Team will target Meteor Falls is because the information came from Lei Gong!”

The Meteor People immediately lowered their defenses upon hearing this.

Having been saved half an hour ago by this child, they couldn’t turn around and deny him, not believing his words.

Lei Gong observed Baimu’s back, and slowly retracted its attacking stance.

The Dragon Elder appeared with the support of one person.

”All of you, retreat. Lei Gong is a distant guest, give it and Baimu some space to communicate.”

The Meteor People, already intent on leaving, quickly departed, and the Dragon Elder followed suit, as if just here to say that.

Baimu sighed in relief, turning with a grudge, ”Why are you only here now? The fight’s already over! It’s long over!”

”Roar...”

Lei Gong scrutinized him and, confirming he was unhurt, couldn’t be bothered to explain, glanced at the Rocket Team’s location but didn’t approach, instead silently entered the house, picking a spot without broken glass to lie down.

After days of keeping watch without emerging, eventually appeared here.

If not for its keen perception, it might have waited till nightfall to find out, already a quick arrival.

”You... You rest, Miss Jun Sha seems to have arrived.”

Baimu tidied up the shattered glass on the ground, pulling the curtains known to dislike prying eyes, ”I’ll be right back—”

Though spoken aloud.

But returning took two hours.

Having notified via phone that a Rocket Team airship was present, surprising the technical staff claimed inability to operate!

Porygon can fly but you can’t!?

Along with taking statements and calculating losses and loot, it exhausted Baimu, the victim.

Finally gaining freedom, but hearing the Dragon Elder wanted a small meeting at the Dragon Temple, frankly, he was a bit reluctant to go.

”Go, they’re discussing giving you the Key Stone; aren’t you going?”

Heartfelt words rang out.

Baimu paused, then turned to see a familiar figure somehow standing by the edge.

”... I have a question.”

He addressed Xijana, full of smiles, ”Did you all plan to leave troubles to me, waiting for the dust to settle before emerging yourselves?”

”Not at all.”

”Haha, I believe.”

Baimu laughed twice, expressionless.
