Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 451: Chapter 367: Acknowledging One’s Ancestry (Triple-Length Chapter) (Part 4)

The village’s utility poles and signal tower say a lot.

So regarding the notorious Rocket Team, the Dragon Elder pays particular attention.

”Should we call some clansmen back?”

Someone suggested.

The Dragon Elder shook her head, ”That’s not necessary. We just need to guard the village and keep an eye on our ancestral land. Other matters will be resolved by the Hoenn Champion, as Baimu mentioned.”

”In that case, should we send the Village Protection Team to patrol the ancestral land soon?”

Another person suggested, ”We have us old folks in the village. Though our combat strength isn’t what it used to be, dealing with a few sneaky little thieves shouldn’t be a problem.”

”Yeah! Isn’t Elder Qing Liu always doing the guard duty? We can do it too!” said a somewhat younger Meteor Person, estimated to be around forty years old.

Elder Qing Liu angrily scolded, ”What do you mean by guard duty! What do you mean by guard duty? You youngster just open your mouth and speak nonsense! I’ve only been going out of the village for a stroll! Who’s on guard duty?”

”Hahahaha...”

The Meteor People laughed uproariously.

The atmosphere was quite relaxed, making the already not-so-serious meeting even more casual.

The Dragon Elder seemed not to favor the stiff format either. Although she personally appeared more dignified, after hearing the opinions of other Meteor People, she nodded, ”Then let’s arrange it this way, give the youngsters new tasks! Meeting adjourned!”

”Alright!”

”Rest assured, Elder!”

The Meteor People responded one after another, packing up fruit peels and wrappers, turning their heads to leave.

Baimu also got up to head out.

But the Dragon Elder called to him, ”Wait, I’ll arrange a place for you to rest. If you’re willing, you can choose a nice piece of land around here in the future, build a house, and settle down.”

”Uh... okay.”

Baimu didn’t refuse; having another house wouldn’t hurt, and once he becomes a Champion, he can come here for a vacation.

Hilona has a holiday villa in Unova, and Da Wu gave his Sinnoh villa to the player protagonist; they’re all wealthy.

Not long after.

Under the guidance of an old lady.

Baimu was shown to a spacious area in a Japanese-style house near the Dragon Temple.

The old lady said, ”This is the elder’s house, but her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter have all gone traveling, so she recently stays in the Dragon Temple.”

”Granddaughter... is it Xijana?” he asked.

”Yes, did you meet her outside?”

The old lady immediately guessed the reason, laughing, ”That girl is quite interested in you and said she wants to be responsible for teaching you to become a qualified Dragon Tamer, then ran off. We initially thought it would be her bringing you back, but...”

”Happened to travel to Fallarbor Town, then came over to check due to an unexpected event.”

Baimu politely explained.

”Traveling all this way to remind us, you’ve had a hard time. I’ll bring lunch over at noon, you can rest assured and take it easy, or feel free to roam around the village.” The old lady didn’t linger long, urged him to move freely, then left.

”Phew...”

He let out a breath.

Every one of the Meteor People was particularly kind, treating him like their own child. Speaking warmly, doing things that warm the heart.

Baimu was very happy, but somewhat unaccustomed.

He poured himself a glass of water, asked Mawile if it was thirsty, and seeing it shake its head, he heard the voice of a Meteor Person named Zheng Fang, whom he met earlier, outside the door.

”Baimu! Are you in there?”

”I’m here!”

Baimu pulled the screen door open.

”Come on!”

Zheng Fang waved his hand, ”Everyone’s waiting for you, all want to get to know you a bit.”
