Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 471: Chapter 373: Bonds in Resonance (Triple-Length Chapter)_4

Now if Baimu went to school, he definitely wouldn’t manage, so when an uncle from the Meteor People suggested he check out the school, he didn’t even think twice before refusing, using the excuse of participating in the Gorgeous Competition.

In fact, he was very busy.

Setting aside the most basic training and learning moves.

On one hand, he needed to form a singing and dancing performance duo with Blissey and Mawile, and on the other, keep taking the Shiny Feebas to challenge the Dragon Gate Waterfall.

The vocal conditions of Blissey are certainly not on par with a Pokémon like Jigglypuff, which is inherently designed for singing.

But it’s not bad.

Baimu needed to specifically cultivate its sense of rhythm, while Mawile had to dance in sync with the rhythm... to be honest, this reminded him of the Sinnoh Coordinator Trainer—Minstrel Shangzhi.

This person seemed to be an expert in combining music and dance.

Thinking of this.

He tried to let Porygon collect competition records related to Shangzhi, to gain new inspiration from the latter’s performances in the Gorgeous Competition, which would also help Blissey understand its duties.

To be honest, Blissey’s understanding of elegance and move changes is not very strong.

Perhaps its talents are all assigned to how to care for and heal others, which clearly shows that Pokémon also experience limitations.

”Not a big problem.”

Baimu finished watching Shangzhi’s first competition video and found that he was quite good at making Kricketune use [Sing] to create various colorful musical notes.

Create various changes based on the notes.

”Looks like your first lesson, besides rhythm, is how to reduce the hypnotic effect of singing and increase the number of notes,” he said to Blissey, ”and we should have quite a few ready-made teachers.”

”Happy?”

Blissey tilted its head in confusion.

But soon it knew what the Trainer meant—

Baimu invited a group of natural ”singers” from a Meteor People’s house that specially nurtured Altaria, ”Please teach my Blissey to sing.”

”Churr?”

”Churr~ Churr~”

The Altaria, either puzzled or chattering away, took quite a bit of effort to understand their duty, and eagerly agreed, then surrounded Blissey with serious faces.

”Churr!”

You’re today’s student, right?

An Altaria adjusted imaginary glasses with its cotton wings, something it learned from the teachers at school.

Blissey looked at it, a hint of unease flashing across its face.

”Happy...”

”Churr! Churr!”

The cries for help were drowned out by the flock of Altaria.

Mawile watched Blissey being rather miserably surrounded and couldn’t help but retreat towards the Trainer, then halfway remembered that the real culprit was the Trainer.

It couldn’t help but take two steps to the side.

But unfortunately, Baimu still didn’t let it off the hook, ”What are you standing there for? Doesn’t a dancer need to master the rhythm? You have to go too!”

”Chido...”

”Or are you going to dance by yourself?”

”Chido!”

Mawile gave him a resentful look, still reluctantly moving over, but suddenly turned around and said seriously, ”Chido!”

Does the Trainer think he can stay out of this?

Come along!

It quickly grabbed Baimu’s arm and, before he could react, jumped into the group of Altaria, getting buried under the fluffy feathers.

By that morning, the Swablu had successfully gained three eager but clumsy students.

And while the Gorgeous Competition group was in full swing.

Aggron and the Shiny Feebas arrived at the river near Meteor Village, intending to practice the Fish Leaping the Dragon Gate there.

To put it simply—

The former would manipulate the water to form waves, and the latter would seize the opportunity to leap over them, two processes.

The method was devised by Baimu, and since Aggron kept insisting on helping the Shiny Feebas, he put some thought into devising this alternative method.

Both were eager to give it a try.

”Ghoo!”

Aggron stood at one end of the upstream, roaring loudly, while the Shiny Feebas was downstream, blowing a big bubble to signal it was ready.

Bang!

The former immediately smashed the water with its paw, creating rolling waves that rushed toward the Shiny Feebas.

Since the first wave was experimental, the latter easily leaped over it.

”Ghoo?”

Aggron quickly asked if it felt like jumping over a waterfall.

The Shiny Feebas thought for a moment and indicated not really.

”Ghoo...”

The Big Monster started pondering.

The practice method devised by the Trainer was definitely not wrong; the problem likely lay in its execution method.

Hmm.

It must be due to not using enough force.

Aggron motioned to try again, and once Feebas was ready, it slightly raised its paw and channeled attribute energy, causing countless water vapors to condense into a bright blue water ball, which was immediately launched at the river!

Dong!

The river made a heavy thud like it had been forcefully struck, and a massive wave immediately surged up, crashing toward the Shiny Feebas!

This is it!

The Shiny Feebas’s eyes brightened slightly; as the wave neared, it did feel a bit of the waterfall’s momentum. Although there’s still quite a difference, it’s enough for a training method!

”Pop!”

It abruptly flicked its tail, leaping up, its small body tracing an arc in the air, its somewhat shabby violet scales reflecting the sunlight, and then—

It was washed away by the waves.

”Ghoo!?”

Aggron was startled and immediately flustered, almost at a loss,

Fortunately, the Shiny Feebas soon swam out from underwater, blowing a bubble to indicate it was okay.

This relieved the Big Monster.

”Ghoo?”

”Pop!”

Facing the question of whether to maintain the previous power, the Shiny Feebas gave an affirmative answer.

Just like the Trainer said, breaking through layer by layer.

It will definitely gain something!

”Pop!”

The Shiny Feebas wagged its tail, exposing its body wholeheartedly to the sunlight, silently singing an unyielding hymn to fate.
