Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 461: Chapter 370: Evolutionary Will_3

It thought deeply and secretly vowed to work hard to be worthy.

——

After a short nap at noon.

Baimu was awakened by the calls of Zheng Fang and Eldegoss.

”Ah~ Looks like it’s time to head to Meteor Falls.”

He stretched lazily, gathered all the Pokémon waking from their dreams, and paused when it was Mawile’s turn, ”We’re heading to Meteor Falls soon, there might be wild Dragon-type Pokémon there, can’t feel at ease without you.”

”Tch~ doh~”

Mawile brought its little hand to its mouth, adorably yawning, its right eyelid lifted slightly to glance at the Trainer, and then it slightly raised its little face.

”Got it.”

Baimu tidied its bangs and sprayed some scented water on its body.

Perhaps having gained a sense of crisis from the evolution of Blissey, Mawile has become a bit coquettish recently, but only when they are alone.

Even more extreme than Lei Gong.

Lei Gong at least would only behave like that if there are no strangers around.

This shows where Baimu’s patience for it comes from, cultivated by that young lady from home who went to the countryside to help the poor.

Baimu pulled back the screen and walked out with Mawile.

The Village Protection Team, including Zheng Fang and three others, had been waiting for a long time, with three Flygon and a Garchomp beside them, all equipped with the special saddles typical in the Alola Region for ride Pokémon.

”Your Hydreigon still needs to rest, right? I got this ready for you! A great help for travels!” Zheng Fang patted the tall Flygon next to him.

With its size, Hydreigon could actually carry Baimu, but its body structure would make the posture look rather strange.

Perhaps adding a saddle like the one on Flygon would help?

Seeing Baimu looking around the Flygon, Zheng Fang couldn’t help but smile and ask, ”Isn’t it great?”

”It’s great!”

”Do you want it?”

”Kind of!”

”Then go capture it quickly!”

”Capture... huh? I just think this saddle is nice.” Baimu snapped back, shaking his head at Zheng Fang’s crazy encouragements.

Zheng Fang was puzzled, ”A saddle? Can’t you just ask Grandpa Qing Shan to make one? What’s so rare about it?”

”It’s rare, I’ve never seen one like this outside.”

Baimu shook his head and said, ”Tomorrow, could you introduce me to Grandpa Qing Shan, I really want one.”

Zheng Fang nodded silently, ”Alright... but you really don’t like Flygon? It’s so handsome and cool!”

”La wo!”

Hearing someone praise it, Flygon happily displayed its graceful posture.

Knowing he was going to ride it soon, Baimu dared not speak ill of Flygon, he simply said, ”As I’ve said, it’s just a lack of time. Flygon is great, but I really can’t leave my two Pokémon unattended, though Flygon is indeed beautiful.”

Praise it twice.

”La wo~!”

Flygon joyfully nuzzled Baimu’s face with its head, extremely happy.

This guy is really easy to understand.

Baimu exchanged a sneaky glance with Mawile beside him.

Soon after.

They rode on the back of Flygon, soaring into the sky, heading with Zheng Fang and the other Dragon Tamers towards Meteor Falls.

”Speaking of which, you’re...”

”Huh? Speak louder! Can’t hear you!”

”You’re going to Meteor Falls to investigate Rocket Team’s tracks, aren’t you? Isn’t this leisure a bit inappropriate!”

”Oh oh! It’s fine! Meteor Falls is our territory! No need to worry!”

Hearing Zheng Fang’s mysteriously confident response, Baimu felt like he was setting up a flag.

Righteous characters often fail at these odd points, clearly, being a bit more cautious could prevent many things, yet they just don’t!

To prevent just recognizing his ancestors and then losing them, Baimu decided to find a way to make Zheng Fang and others realize what should be heeded with Rocket Team.

Speaking of it.

Might the Dragon Elder have hidden the Key Stone and Super Stone in Meteor Falls?

Even if they’re hidden, by now they’ve probably been taken out, after all, the elder is unlike these young, naive Dragon Tamers like Zheng Fang, possessing much wisdom and insight.

Meteor Falls isn’t far.

Soon, Garchomp and the Flygon landed on the mountain slope.

Baimu climbed down from the dragonfly’s back and secretly carried Mawile to the ground, ”Meteor Falls...”

He looked around, noticing numerous various-sized semi-circular pits on the somewhat pale ground, all unmistakably formed by meteor impacts.

”Why do some pits look quite new?”

Zheng Fang chuckled, ”New, indeed. See that big pit, when do you think it was formed?”

”Last week?”

”Huh? How did you know?”

”...Instincts.”

Baimu pulled a wry smile and asked, ”Do meteorites still fall from the sky at Meteor Falls now?”

”Of course, that’s why it’s called Meteor Falls. It’s said that meteors used to fall even more frequently here, with even a very large meteor crashing down, creating the biggest pit.”

Zheng Fang took the lead forward, ”Come with me, I’ll show you the biggest pit inside the cave, you’ll never imagine its scale!”

Eldegoss and Lian Zuo followed behind him, the three looked very familiar with the terrain, knowing even which pits were new like counting treasures for Baimu.

Soon, a huge cave mouth appeared ahead of them.

”Do you hear the rumbling water sound inside?” Zheng Fang turned to inquire.

Baimu nodded, with his hearing he actually perceived it earlier, and Meteor Falls earned its name not just from being a meteor-struck cave.

But also for the numerous waterfalls of varying sizes within.

As they entered the cave, it instantly turned dark then bright.

The darkness came from the dim road underfoot, and the brightness from the gleaming blue light of water flowing down from the distant enormous waterfall, as well as the sporadic sunlight peeking through the Swiss-cheese-like rock ceiling above.

This first encounter with such a sight left Baimu feeling a sense of novelty, especially pondering how people might live in such a place.

”Let’s begin the patrol.”

Zheng Fang may disregard Rocket Team outwardly, but he was quite diligent, dividing the four into two small groups, ”We’ll go layer by layer, quickly.”

Baimu: ”... I don’t seem to be a part of the Village Protection Team...”

Zheng Fang laughed heartily, ”No big deal, no big deal~”
