Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 480: Chapter 377: Bomb-Making Talent (Mega-Length Chapter!) (Part 2)

[You have defeated the Overlord Salazzle and obtained the Poison Z]

Speaking of which.

That there would be an Overlord Salazzle on Melemele Island... Baimu always thought it would appear on Akala Island at the Vela Volcano, like in the game, but considering that even Melemele Island can have an Overlord Trevenant, an Overlord Salazzle isn’t much to be surprised about.

Meanwhile, the screen showed a familiar and welcomed scene, where the Cutiefly saved by the female student from the jaws of a Salandit had developed a liking for her, deciding to follow her.

Thus, the female student successfully obtained her fourth Pokémon, and the narrator noted that she seemed quite fond of this kind of Pokémon.

[You’ve captured Cutiefly, adding a companion to help make bombs]

You’re truly something!

Baimu showed a look of admiration.

Unexpectedly, the screen suddenly changed, and the perspective shifted to the Overlord Salazzle. This Pokémon, who had just taken a beating, dejectedly returned to the forest, where not far away, a floating crest-headed Pokémon appeared.

”Tapu Koko!”

The two Pokémon began to communicate, with the Overlord Salazzle wearing a pitiful expression, as if expressing its grievances to Tapu Koko.

Was the destruction of the Flower Field Tapu Koko’s idea?

Why?

Baimu was somewhat puzzled.

But the simulator didn’t stay on this scene for long, and the narrator didn’t provide him with any answers.

The view returned to the female student’s perspective.

She was already in a police station crowded with Alola Meow Meows, accompanied by Decidueye.

[Under Principal Da Mu’s guidance, you’ve arrived at Ula Ula Island’s police station to find the King of the Island, Modan, but when you got there, all you found was a group of Alola Meow Meows]

Has Modan already become the King of the Island in this era?

Baimu was quite surprised, thinking Modan was still an international police officer back when Grandpa Kaqi was in office.

[You took out Cutiefly’s Pollen Team, enticing one of the Alola Meow Meows to lead you to find Modan, and they agreed]

The pixelated Alola Meow Meow led the way, followed closely by the female student and Decidueye, and before long, they found Modan napping and slacking off in an interrogation room.

[You woke him up to inquire about the Trial, but he flatly denied it, claiming not to be Modan. You were deceived by Alola Meow Meow]

A question mark floated above the heads of the female student and Decidueye.

Apparently, she was unaware that Modan was a cunning Evil Attribute King of the Island and walked out cluelessly until she encountered Officer Jenny of Ula Ula Island elsewhere and realized she had been right all along.

[You ran back angrily to confront the deceitful King of the Island, Modan, who innocently claimed he thought you were talking about someone else and had misheard. You then requested him again for the Trial and Grand Trial, and this time Modan finally agreed]

What a mischievous King of the Island...

Baimu didn’t know what to say. Even in the animation, Rocket Team and Ash Ketchum had been tricked by Modan, and now the female student was too.

The same trick played for so many years and yet never gets old.

[The Trial you’ve been given is— to uncover the source of mysterious sounds at the former site of the Value Mart]

Mysterious sounds? Mimikyu?

In the animation, the old site of the Value Mart should just be a derelict location, not the residing place of an Overlord Mimikyu like in the game... or should it?

Not being from the same era as Ash Ketchum, Baimu found it hard to assert.

But it won’t be long before everything becomes clear.

The scene changed.

The female student arrived at the entrance of a huge, single-story department store, with a dirty parking lot, untrimmed flowerbed trees, and broken glass windows, all indicating this place had been abandoned for quite a while.

A breeze blew by, accompanied by a ghostly wailing sound.

But such a scene was nearly ineffective on her, a veritable human arsenal.

After all, when she had just transferred to the school, the female student already dared to walk across the campus at night without any Pokémon, so when Modan assigned this task, he likely didn’t anticipate her level of courage.

A slightly darker environment wasn’t really a test at all.

The female student, along with Decidueye, strided boldly inside, where the interior of the abandoned Value Mart was filthier than outside, with thick dust that left many marks when stepped on.

[Looking at the ground with no signs of activity whatsoever, you begin to doubt what exactly the mysterious sound’s true source is]

With the female student venturing further inside the Value Mart, the screen became dark, with only minimal sunlight filtering through the grimy glass, providing the most basic level of visibility inside.

From Baimu’s perspective, several shadows had already darted past where she and Decidueye failed to notice.

”Am I watching a simulator, or a horror pixel game...”

Yet the derelict interior of the Value Mart failed to reveal any traces— the female student, unable to find the source of the mysterious sounds, finally couldn’t resist taking out one of her latest creations

[Luring Glare Bullet]

This Blinding Spores from the cap of Shiinotic could place the vast majority of Pokémon in a trance, enticing them to approach the light like moths to a flame.

Perfectly suited for such a specific environment.

Boom!

The bomb went off.

Baimu instinctively wanted to shield his eyes, lest he be blinded, but unexpectedly, the simulator considerately dimmed the brightness and effects.

After the bomb went off, numerous shadows surged towards the female student from all directions, manifesting as pixelated Haunters and Gastlys.

Not a single Gengar, no wonder there were no footprints on the ground.
