Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 475: Chapter 375: The Pharmacist Girl_3

And naturally encountered the Overlord Alola Raticate.

This plump fellow lay lazily atop a barren rock mountain, leisurely eating the tree fruit offered by its underlings.

[You look at the unusually large Alola Raticate and understand that this guy is probably the leader of these bandits. So you step forward, hoping to challenge it one-on-one, and stating that if you win, it must restrain its underlings from randomly attacking the fields and Tauros vehicles.]

Baimu: ”...You’ve got some nerve.”

He watched as the female student stood out publicly, surrounded by a large number of Alola Raticates and Rattatas without any hint of panic, already imagining the scenes to follow.

As expected.

The Alola Raticates, being Evil Attribute Pokémon, clearly weren’t going to accept the female student’s proposal.

So when they pounced, the female student decisively reached into her pocket and pulled out a large number of bombs, tossing them in all directions—

Boom boom boom!

The scene continuously produced various explosion effects, and when the smoke cleared, Rowlet’s wings dispelled the haze, most of the underlings of the Overlord Alola Raticate had already fallen.

You should be the demolition expert!

Baimu truly witnessed a Trainer choosing to stand alone for the first time, even though using ”technology” means, it was still quite impressive to defeat so many Alola Raticates single-handedly.

The Overlord Alola Raticate, compelled by circumstances, accepted the female student’s challenge.

Fortunately, having learned from Principal Da Mu about the detailed content of the Island Pilgrimage, she understood that battles with Overlord Pokémon are different, so instead of battling it herself, she properly chose Rowlet and Mimikyu.

Yet even in a Pokémon battle, the female student’s ability was extraordinary.

Rowlet inherited the Trainer’s bomb talent well, mastering Seed Bomb and Energy Ball expertly, bombing the Overlord Alola Raticate to a sorry state despite its Overlord Aura, repeatedly interrupting its attempt to use Destructive Death Beam.

Moreover.

Rowlet’s flying speed was swift and covert, diving into the woods nearby made the Overlord Alola Raticate lose track of it, only to endure more bombing.

Ultimately, even Mimikyu didn’t get to appear before the Overlord Alola Raticate surrendered.

The victorious female student’s forehead blossomed with a smile, quickly using materials available onsite to concoct a bomb that dispelled paralysis, restoring all Alola Raticate and Rattata to normal, and healed the wounds of the Overlord Alola Raticate.

The latter, perhaps slightly grateful, jumped lightly before gifting the female student a black rhombus crystal.

The rhombus crystal was magnified and presented before Baimu.

”Is it Evil Z...”

[You received a gift from the Overlord Alola Raticate—Z Pure Crystal]

This was undoubtedly the female student’s first Z Pure Crystal, and the smile on her forehead grew wider.

Then she brought the Overlord Alola Raticate to the King of the Island Hara, expressing that the latter promised not to disturb the fields and farmers anymore but hoped to get some tree fruit to satisfy its hunger.

The Alola Region advocates coexistence between humans and Pokémon, so naturally, such a small request wouldn’t be denied.

Just...

Hara: ”...”

Baimu saw the ellipsis on the forehead of this King of the Island, understanding that he probably wanted to teach the female student to learn to use non-combat methods to solve problems, better understanding the natural ecology and the relationship between Pokémon and humans in the Alola Region—

Just like he later taught Ash Ketchum.

Unfortunately, the female student’s style was too swift and explosive, and she was quite skillful too, actually understanding the principle of capturing the leader first, directly taking down the Overlord Alola Raticate.

Hara, for a time, fell into a dilemma and attempted to ask the female student a question.

[You heard the King of the Island Hara ask you what you would do if you couldn’t defeat the Overlord Alola Raticate this time and told him that you would find ways to seek the methods traditionally used to manage Raticate in the Alola Region. However, battling Wild Pokémon and forming friendships with them was your personal style, hence adopting the usual approach.]

The image of Hara upon hearing these words quickly transformed the ellipsis on his forehead into a smile.

It seemed he was quite satisfied with this answer.

[You heard the King of the Island Hara acknowledge you had passed the test, feeling immensely excited and thrilled, eagerly anticipating participating in the grand trial, Hara agreed.]

The grand trial.

Which is the battle with the King of the Island.

Coincidentally, Hara’s rules were a two-on-two single battle, and his Pokémon were all Fighting Attribute, so the female student’s side had a more advantageous attribute.

Indeed, the battle reflected this.

Rowlet fully utilized its mobility as a Flying Attribute Pokémon, continually bombarding Hara’s Hariyama with Seed Bombs, resembling a bombing chicken.

As Hariyama looked fatigued, Rowlet swooped towards it.

Little did they expect this seemed like Hara’s trap, and this King of the Island used the quickest speed to charge the Fighting Z, having Hariyama unleash [Full-power Unrivaled Fierce Fist] on Rowlet.

This move, even displayed in the simulator image, was extraordinarily exaggerated, almost half the screen was covered by numerous golden yellow fist shadows, clearly showing the terrifying power of Z Move.

But when the smoke cleared, it wasn’t Rowlet on the field but Mimikyu.

[You tell Hara that your Rowlet used Passing the Baton right at the critical moment to get itself out and bring Mimikyu in, Hara, surprising yet admiring.]

Even a Z Move couldn’t overcome attribute compatibility.

Soon, Hariyama fell under Mimikyu’s Playful antics, and Hara’s second Pokémon, Crabrawler, couldn’t withstand the consecutive attacks from the two Pokémon.

The female student ultimately successfully passed the test and grand trial of Melemele Island, earning the recognition of the King of the Island Hara.

And received the Z Bracelet and Flying Z from the latter.

Originally, the King of the Island was going to give her Fighting Z, but considering it didn’t quite suit the female student, it was changed to Flying Z, allowing her to use it perfectly.

[You received the Z Bracelet and Flying Z, successfully passed the test of Melemele Island, it’s time to advance to the next island]
