Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 493: Chapter 382: Gigantamax vs. Mega

The completely one-sided situation.

Unexpectedly, in such a short time, it underwent a shocking reversal, and the key point of this reversal wasn’t the defeat in the Pokémon battle, but rather the hijacking of the core airship!

Not only was it hijacked, but it was even manipulated by the other side!

Bashu didn’t even consider it, he never even thought of it.

This, this makes no sense!

Even after the invasion, they should have chosen to destroy the airship, after all, flying such a colossal object can’t be solved with just momentum.

”Pusen! Pusen!”

Bashu tried to contact his partner, but in vain, as Baimu had already used Porygon’s power to sever their internal communications, now all he could hear was static noise.

Soon, the black technology nets used by the Rocket Team to restrain Dragon-type Pokémon also ”malfunctioned”. This gadget was controlled by the system on the airship; they just needed to operate it effortlessly to capture Pokémon.

But precisely because of this, after being shut down by Porygon, a large number of Dragon-type Pokémon broke free and regained their freedom, rushing out in groups from the airship’s opened doors.

They landed in groups everywhere.

The Rocket Team members inevitably became more panicked and started to converge towards their companions’ positions.

”Hahahaha...”

Elder Qing Liu, who could no longer hold on, collapsed on the ground, drawing concerned glances from Mega Altaria, but he nonchalantly waved his hand, ”Looks like I underestimated him!”

”What are you standing there for! Don’t be scared by that guy! As long as we capture these old men—ah!”

A Rocket Team Member who wanted to take hostages suddenly let out a violent scream, as if Baimu wouldn’t notice this loud conspiring prick without taking him out.

”Taking hostages is wrong. Your idea is too dangerous, so here’s a double electric warning”

Ziiip—

”Ah!”

Ziiip—

”Ah!”

The Rocket Team Member, who was already lying on the ground with white eyes, screamed and convulsed, then slowly white smoke rose from him, like a soul returning to the sky.

His partner Pokémon, sweating profusely, stepped back a few steps, displaying an expression of not knowing him.

All around, Rocket Team members and Pokémon were either grimacing or gulping, their bodies inexplicably breaking out in goosebumps.

As they looked at the airship again, some wondered who exactly were the members of the evil organization, normally one would attack the Pokémon right? Who attacks the Trainers directly!

Come on, how are you so skilled at torturing people!

At this moment, the broadcast sounded again.

”I don’t want to say it a second time, everyone please be conscious, and let’s minimize unnecessary pain. Three strikes and you’re out, my patience is limited. Bashu little brother~ Agent Bashu! As one of the leaders on-site, are you thinking of sneaking away yourself?”

Bashu’s face changed dramatically when he secretly put on Rocket equipment.

With the internal situation of the airship unclear and the companion’s situation unclear, the top priority is to retreat and protect oneself, then think of ways to get colleagues out from the station or prison.

So retreating at this moment is the correct choice.

Upon being exposed, he resolutely pulled the lever of the Rocket equipment, the high-speed airflow ejected from behind instantly sent him into the sky!

Whoosh—

At the same time, he adjusted the jet output to temporarily hover in the air and quickly took out the Pokeball to try to retrieve Mega Steelix.

He deliberately stopped in the blind spot, very clear of the airship’s attack range.

However, just as the red beam shot out, a silver giant shadow far larger than Mega Steelix suddenly appeared, roaring as it swung its steel chain-like body, binding the former tightly!

[Tie Tight]!

The red beam hit, but then it exploded violently.

The recovery beam of the Pokeball is ineffective under the binding state, his idea fell through.

”How could there be—!!”

Bashu’s eyes widened, this was definitely the first time he had seen such a large Steelix, even without a Super Evolution, it was three sections bigger than his Mega Steelix!

The bound Mega Steelix was actually unable to move!

The more it tried to reverse the situation, the more painful it felt, the colorful crystals on its body kept cracking, as if they were about to break.

”Flame Fang!”

”Chomp it!”

Mega Steelix opened its huge mouth and bit down hard on the Mega Steelix’s body!

Bang—

Boom!

The clanging of metal resounded in the sky, the flames surged from the bright silver steel teeth, bursting into bright and splendid sparks!

Actually, the power of a Ground Attribute move would be greater, but the current posture of the Mega Steelix wasn’t convenient for use. Moreover, Flame Fang alone is already enough to deal with a Mega Steelix that had lowered combat effectiveness after a battle with Mega Altaria.

”Grrr...”

Mega Steelix wailed and the colorful light on its body dissipated, reverting to its original form and passing out.

In the control room.

Baimu looked at this scene with immense satisfaction, recalling when Steelix was inexperienced and was locked by Xiaogang’s Steelix, from that day on, it trained hard in the art of binding, and today it finally succeeded in using it on Bashu’s Steelix!

Compared to the ecstatic Baimu, Bashu, hovering in mid-air, was grinding his back molars to the point of shattering, seeing no hope in recovering Steelix, he could only be forced to give up, maneuvering his jetpack to prepare to flee.

But maybe because he hadn’t acted seriously in a long time, this guy seemed sluggish in every way.

As sluggish as his partner Pusen.

The arrogance as a Rocket Team agent made them always expose various flaws, leading to them taking nearly half a minute to escape despite being ready.

During the half-minute of failed recovery, this guy did nothing, neither attempting to free his Steelix nor pulling out a weapon to storm into the airship for a one-on-one duel with Baimu.

What a pity, this bit of slowness gave Mawile an opportunity.

As Bashu manipulated the rocket pack to ascend, Mawile poked its head out of the compartment door and shot past him like an arrow from a bowstring, landing a punch that reduced the rocket pack to a shattered mess.

Boom!

Sparks erupted, and Bashu, out of control, plummeted from the sky, landing heavily on the ground and immediately losing consciousness.

Seeing this, the other Rocket Team members looked at the electromagnetic guns and sonic guns aimed at them from below the airship, then at the surrounding Meteor People closing in, and nervously raised their hands.

Without the aid of technology, they had no way to win.

All Rocket Team members understood this.

’Put your hands on your head, lie on the ground, yes, just like that, cooperating is in both our interests.’

Baimu instructed them, his gaze sweeping over the tied-up Rocket Team members, many with bruised noses and swollen faces, and said with a full smile, ’Your predecessors have already personally experienced the consequences of resisting.’

Next...

Exploring this airship a bit might yield some special rewards.

——

The Rocket Team invasion incident came to an end.

Many Pokémon were injured by nets, electricity, and sound waves.

But fortunately, the generally older Meteor People had fewer injuries. In animations, humans are indeed physically robust, but as they age, their condition declines sharply, in both healing ability and stamina.

The Rocket Team members didn’t directly attack humans, which may show a slight sense of humanity.

Of course.

There isn’t much of it.

”Baimu, this time it’s thanks to you.”

The Dragon Elder approached Baimu, who was treating a Swablu’s injuries, and thanked him quietly.

”It’s just my duty. You should go and rest; we can handle things here.”

He stood up with a smile, seeing the elder’s breathing was much more even and no longer coughing, he felt a bit relieved.

When he arrived, he suddenly saw the elder being held in someone’s arms and almost thought something had gone wrong, feeling his heart stop. Fortunately, it was nothing serious.

If being a minute late had led to the Dragon Elder’s unfortunate demise, he would surely regret it deeply.

”It’s fine; I’m not that fragile yet.”

The Dragon Elder shook his head, watching the many Meteor People busy themselves throughout Meteor Village, feeling both relieved and a bit nostalgic.

He thought their old bones were enough to protect the village.

He didn’t expect that with just one airship, Rocket Team almost turned Meteor Village upside down, though with Baimu’s help, they successfully defeated the invaders...

But who wants to experience something like this?

Looking around, there wasn’t a trace of a smile on anyone’s face, only the relief and sighs of having survived a calamity.

Perhaps it’s time to go further.

The Dragon Elder pondered as he noticed a group of fast-approaching black shadows in the sky; those were undoubtedly the dragons returning from the Dragon Nest.

The long-delayed dragons rushed anxiously to their respective homes and only relaxed upon finding their Trainers safe.

It was as if a family reunion.

Finally, smiles returned to everyone’s faces.

The Village Protection Team’s trio also hurriedly searched for their family members amidst the dragon group.

Upon receiving news of Meteor Village’s attack, nearly all dragons with flying ability from the Dragon Nest mobilized, but alas, despite the large scale, there was no enemy for them to vent their feelings on.

All Rocket Team members were forcibly put to sleep and placed in the village center, guarded by Elder Qing Liu, Aggron, and a group of Dragon-type Pokémon.

The Rocket Team airship was parked outside the village, too large to occupy practical space, so it was left outside to wait for Officer Jenny’s recovery.

When the dragons returned, they could only witness the Meteor People clearing up the various places damaged.

Hydreigon arrived, heading to its abode first, only to see shattered glass and a scene of ruin inside, with its Trainer and companions nowhere to be found.

It opened its three mouths wide, visibly growing restless, ready to dash out and search, but then spotted the Galarian Corsola on the rocking chair not far away.

”Shasa——”

Hydreigon dashed towards it as if seeing family, ”Shasa! Shasa!”

It anxiously inquired about the Trainer’s whereabouts and specific situation; the current scent in Meteor Village was too mixed for it to smell where its Trainer was, worried sick.

The Galarian Corsola staying here to guide pointed its smoky tendrils towards Baimu’s location.

Hydreigon immediately shot forward like an arrow, its large heads swinging frantically till it finally saw the Trainer comforting a Flygon.

The other’s gentle comforting actions seemed to glow in its eyes.

”Shasa——”

Nearly crying, Hydreigon rushed over, too fast for Baimu to react, the two of them forced into a tumble under Flygon’s stunned gaze.

It took quite an effort to stop rolling, but Hydreigon kept licking his face, whimpering excitedly like a stray finding home after years, shaking all over, refusing to move its head despite coaxing.

”...Ah.”

Baimu lay on the ground, helplessly smiling, ”I really can’t do anything about you...”

If he were in Meteor Village and heard Dragon Nest was attacked by Rocket Team, his state would likely be similar to Hydreigon, perhaps even more extreme.

For example, viewing Hydreigon’s situation as the standard for whether Rocket Team members could leave whole corpses.

Excitement signifies importance.

He should be happy; to be so loved by Pokémon and that Hydreigon is so concerned about him.

”Good~ very good~”

Baimu petted Hydreigon’s heads gently.
