Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 481: Chapter 377: Ammunition Crafting Talent (Ten-Thousand-Word Super Chapter!)_3

Of course, the most eye-catching thing was the gray shadow mixed in.

[You look at the floating, strangely colored Mimikyu in the air, a bit in disbelief, because you have a Mimikyu partner, so you know this Ghost-type Pokémon can’t fly.]

No doubt about it.

The oddly colored Mimikyu appearing in front of the female student is indeed Acerola’s Mimikyu, a true ’Ghost,’ but at this time, it’s not with Acerola.

Was it originally an Overlord Pokémon?

[You discovered the strangely colored Mimikyu, looking at the groups of Gastly and Haunter, thinking the other is an Overlord Pokémon.]

Baimu and the female student clearly came to the same conclusion.

Unfortunately, both of them didn’t guess correctly.

The Mimikyu disappeared on the spot, leaving the female student and Decidueye to face the multitude of Gastly and Haunter alone, but they weren’t intimidated; they were best at handling various enemies.

One threw bombs, the other shot arrows.

They forced the Pokémon battle into a ”shooting” game.

”No wonder later when Ash and the others came here, there wasn’t a single Gastly or Haunter left.” Baimu watched the Ghost-type Pokémon scatter and escape, clicking his tongue.

Soon, a group of Ghost-type Pokémon completely disappeared from the female student’s field of vision, Mimikyu reappeared, but still didn’t exhibit an Overlord Aura, instead, it flashed to the female student’s side, opening her Pokeball containing Mimikyu.

[Your Mimikyu was released and began conversing with this bizarre Mimikyu in front of it.]

The foreheads of the two Mimikyus continuously showed various incomprehensible expressions flying over.

[You successfully discovered the truth of the strange sounds through your Mimikyu — it was the restless Gastly and Haunter at night, you can now return to report your findings. Additionally, your Mimikyu received a gift from the other — an exclusive Mimikyu Z, but the shape is very strange, unable to be used on your Z Bracelet.]

[You want to know why the other Mimikyu can fly, and your Mimikyu tells you because the other is a Ghost, leaving you puzzled until the journey back to the car when realization finally dawned on you.]

[You encountered a real ’Ghost.’]

The screen darkens.

”Not being an Overlord Pokémon and still getting a Z Pure Crystal... and it’s a Mimikyu Z, seems like Rocket Team’s Mimikyu Z is also given by it?” Baimu recalls a bit, thinking he probably didn’t remember it wrong.

This guy might actually be a Mimikyu Z distributor.

But how did it meet Acerola? He’s a bit curious about this point.

The screen brightens.

The female student returned to the police station, presenting the exploration results to the lazy Modan and displayed the Mimikyu Z in her hand.

[You hear Modan acknowledging that you passed the test, eagerly requesting to commence the major test, Modan agreed, and you proceed to the battle area behind the police station.]

The highlight begins!

Baimu’s eyes light up slightly, Modan uses Evil Attribute Pokémon, so it’s somewhat of a counter to the female student.

This way, the Three-word Truth talent might get triggered again, right?

He remembers the previous simulator who had the Three-word Truth talent rarely triggered, far less frequently than the female student, not knowing if it’s due to lacking the Hot-blooded Youth talent pairing.

Modan’s battle requirement is a one-on-one, three Pokémon match, while the female student occasionally engages in Reverse Attribute battles, but if she can choose Attribute-aligned battles, she would choose the latter.

So this time, the first Pokémon she sent out was Mimikyu.

Against Modan’s Krookodile in battle, both were countering each other’s attributes, resulting in many back-and-forth testing stages, appearing extraordinarily exciting in Baimu’s view.

At least it’s not like previously where it was an immediate knockout; it’s truly good.

In the end, Mimikyu still had an edge and defeated the unfortunate Krookodile with Playful, its prowess to evade with sharp observance making Krookodile’s efforts to dig numerous holes futile, wasting considerable energy in this regard.

Of course, this also greatly relates to Mimikyu’s strength; this Pokémon, previously mistaken as a Ghost by the female student, has been exceptionally powerful under her training, not inferior to Decidueye.

Seemingly recognizing the female student’s strength through Mimikyu, Modan sends out Sableye next with increased prowess, successfully knocking out Mimikyu.

Mainly due to the Black Gaze combined with Shadow Strike’s strong control and rapid long-range combo, leaving no time for the female student to utter her Three-word Truth.

”Mischievous Heart?”

Baimu speculates on the speed of Sableye’s attacks.

Mimikyu’s defeat makes the female student, after some deliberation, send out Shiinotic.

Though Shiinotic is indeed slow, but it’s quite resilient, showing no signs of discomfort even after enduring two Shadow Claws, and quickly uses the exceedingly exaggerated Mushroom Spores to instantly put Sableye to sleep.

Then performed Ultimate Absorption, sucking Sableye’s Life Energy to the point of fainting.

No need to mention anything else.

Shiinotic’s Mushroom Spores indeed seem exaggerated, they can make a Pokémon sleep until its energy is completely exhausted without waking up.

Modan is evidently surprised as well.

It’s down to the last one.

Unquestionably, Modan chose Persian — or rather Alola Persian, with its round pancake face looking provokable, but its combat ability is not trivial, immediately using Garbage Shot to eliminate Shiinotic upon deployment.

This prevented it from using Mushroom Spores, pushing the female student into the decisive ace versus ace stage.

Decidueye enters the field.

Baimu’s heart quickens slightly, uncertain of how Island Pilgrimage calculates final scores, thus any failure in a major test may also indicate score determination.

Who would’ve thought Alola, at this time, doesn’t even have a Pokémon Alliance.
