Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 469: Chapter 373: Bonded Resonance (Triple-Length Chapter)

However, this change didn’t create any distance between Aggron and him; instead, it brought them closer on various levels.

Baimu felt that if a Key Stone were placed before him at this moment, he could smoothly complete Aggron’s Super Evolution.

What a pity.

Although he was right in the Hoenn Region, the origin place of Super Evolution, it was difficult to obtain a Key Stone in such a short time.

What kind of trials would Xijana arrange for him?

He couldn’t help but start to imagine.

”Beep!”

The phone beside him let out a soft sound.

Baimu turned his head to look and found that the time had already reached 3 AM, ”Looks like our dear Mr. Litten won’t be coming today... Do you think it might have gone to Fallarbor Town?”

”Guhuhu~”

Aggron was noncommittal; it wasn’t well-versed in the thoughts of a Legendary Pokémon, merely urging the Trainer to hurry to bed.

Though staying up late wasn’t a big deal with youth, the Spiritual Qi the next day would certainly be different.

”Don’t stay up.”

Baimu got up and touched its sturdy dual horns; Aggron, a Pokémon whose horns grow longer with age, was still quite young despite being a battle-hardened Big Monster.

Back to bed.

He silently entered dreamland.

—

The next day.

Baimu awoke and looked toward the bedside, coincidentally seeing the silhouette of Lei Gong heading out.

”I didn’t even notice when you came back!”

”Roar~”

Lei Gong cast him a glance, as if saying there are many things you didn’t notice.

It recalled nearly heading to Fallarbor Town last night, feeling a bit restless, grateful for remembering Baimu saying it might not return and specifically coming over to check; otherwise, it would have been a wasted trip.

Yet this place.

Lei Gong felt the strange waves of the air, its gaze drawn toward the Dragon Temple not far away.

If it weren’t for someone being here, it would never have come to such a strongly marked place—not only to avoid unnecessary trouble but also because staying here wasn’t very comfortable.

But, since it was here, no need to think too much.

”Don’t rush off, let’s have breakfast first.”

Baimu quickly got up, washed up, and prepared breakfast with Blissey, having thanked the lady who brought food last night and declined further meals.

He believed there wouldn’t be any visitors this morning, right?

Even if they came, it wouldn’t matter.

These extreme dragon aficionados would probably only be excited upon seeing Dragon Attribute Legendary Pokémon.

Perhaps it was too early; the sun had just risen with a hint of yellow, Meteor Village was silent with no voices, even the roars of Dragon-type Pokémon couldn’t be heard.

Baimu watched the Pokémon lower their heads to eat, spotting Hydreigon with its face buried in the food, unable to resist patting its head, ”That’s what you get for staying up at night!”

”Sha Sha!?”

Hydreigon suddenly awoke from the food, its three heads sweeping around like surveillance cameras for its assailant, then found its Trainer staring unhappily, instinctively licking the food remnants off its face.

Realizing what had happened, it sheepishly tucked its head.

This morning, Hydreigon was surely more exhausted than usual, mostly due to yesterday morning’s endless battles and an intense fight with Garchomp.

Moreover, it was still in the new body adaptation period.

It had only evolved three or four days ago.

”You little rascal...”

Baimu pinched Hydreigon’s cheek forcefully.

Porygon finished breakfast, silently grateful for the Trainer’s hard work, its peripheral vision catching a glimpse of Galarian Corsola, feeling a bit puzzled, ”Pory?”

Why do you seem to be in a good mood?

”Saaa...”

Galarian Corsola decisively denied Porygon’s insinuation that it was happy over someone’s misfortune.

”I’m not! I haven’t! don’t gossip!”

Without that meaning, Porygon withdrew its gaze; if its visual function wasn’t disordered, Galarian Corsola’s daily downturned mouth corners were indeed slightly upturned now.

Truly strange.

Of course, it didn’t dwell on it much; a companion’s good mood was normal.

After breakfast.

Galarian Corsola intended to return to the bedside to sleep, only to see Baimu directing his gaze, ”It’s your turn today, ’on duty’.”

”...”

Galarian Corsola’s good mood suddenly vanished.

Working like a coral was difficult.

It leisurely floated onto Baimu’s shoulder, hoping there would be no need for it to make an appearance today.

Seeing Galarian Corsola somewhat reluctant, Hydreigon approached proactively, somewhat fawningly probing, ”Sa sa?”

How about I replace you?

”...”

Galarian Corsola suddenly became motivated, immediately turning its head to express refusal.

Hydreigon regretfully flew away.

Baimu watched their interaction and lifted Galarian Corsola off his shoulder, ”Why do you seem to have a problem with Hydreigon?”

”...”

Galarian Corsola’s bright red eyes stared at him as if saying, ”I have a big problem with it.”

”Why... because it chews on you every morning?”

Baimu pondered for a long time, feeling that their usual interaction might be limited to that morning chew; most of the time, Galarian Corsola sleeps all day.

Galarian Corsola: ”!”

”Hey, what’s with that shocked face?” He tugged at the corners of his mouth, somewhat speechless looking at this once seabed stubborn stone.

He polished Galarian Corsola daily and was highly sensitive to the smell of Hydreigon’s saliva, impossible not to notice.

He simply hadn’t paid much attention to it.

Because in his fixed impression of Galarian Corsola, this creature always counterattacks when attacked, not losing out in this aspect.
