Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

The underground Insect Nest gradually became visible within the Destruction Carrier’s sensor scanning range.

The Destruction instantly increased its output power once more.

In an instant, it completely obliterated an entire Insect Nest, and along with it, the planetary structure of this area, and the large cluster of Mechanical Race buildings that had not been destroyed by the Insect Nest but were now annihilated by the Destruction.

Even after destroying the Insect Nest, it did not stop, continuing to annihilate everything deep underground in a spherical range centered on the Insect Nest.

Effectively killing off some of the Insect Race that had just escaped in the continued attacks by the Destruction.

The Destruction chose to directly erase part of the planet parasitized by the Insect Race.

Trading terrifying consumption and loss, for the remaining usable portion of the planet.

After destroying the Insect Nest on this planet, the Destruction did not immediately continue to the next planet parasitized by the Insect Race.

It seems its Teleportation Engine was failing, instead of jumping again, it remained in place, seemingly preparing to leave Phase Space and move through Superspace.

This could give Chen Ming time to allow the Insect Race to relocate.

But things were clearly not going to be so smooth; a fleet of hundreds of pure Cruisers unexpectedly teleported here.

A hundred Cruisers, after brief maintenance, simultaneously activated their Teleportation Engines again.

The combined effect of Teleportation Engines can carry objects or other spacecraft that are not more massive than themselves together.

Though the Main Ship far exceeds the mass of the Cruisers, the combined effort of hundreds of Cruisers can still carry the Main Ship through the linkage.

Hundreds of Cruisers’ Teleportation Engines carried this Destruction Carrier to the next star system affected by the Insect Race,

and repeatedly activating Teleportation Engines in a short time period causes major damage to the engines, but the Mechanical Race clearly does not care about these losses anymore.

If the Insect Race is not promptly dealt with, their losses will only become more severe.

And when this star system is destroyed, it’s likely that another batch of Mechanical Race Cruisers will soon arrive to continue sending the Destruction to the next star system.

Even if the Mechanical Race Cruisers are insufficient, as long as the Destruction is transferred to a new Mother Ship, the new Destruction Carrier will similarly obliterate the Insect Nests on all planets invaded by the Insect Race.

Chen Ming has fully realized the gravity of the issue, immediately ordering all Insect Race members invading Mechanical Race planets to start migrating to other parts of the planet.

Whether going deeper underground or hiding in the subterrain of other Mechanical Race colonies, or in even more distant places, as long as they can evade the Destruction’s assault, it doesn’t matter where they go.

But the Mechanical Race’s Mother Ships show no mercy; there’s no room for leniency in their vocabulary.

Any planet parasitized by the Insect Race, regardless of the parasitism’s success, and any location where an Insect Race warship has crashed, regardless if a Mechanical Race colony is present, regardless of the value of resources present, will be obliterated by this destructive brilliance.

Chen Ming can only direct a large portion of the Insect Race to move closer to the planet’s core, developing under the frightening pressure and gravity, and in some planetary cores with extreme heat.

Though slower in progress and efficiency compared to the surface, it is still better than being wiped out by the Destruction.

However, Chen Ming underestimated the Mechanical Race’s determination.

The Destruction indeed ignored the planets where no Insect Nests were found, essentially where the Insect Nests had hidden in undetectable locations.

But after the Destruction visited all other planets where Insect Nests were discovered.

It returned to the planets where no Insect Nests were found.

And Mechanical Race entities on these planets began preparing to evacuate once more.

When the Destruction arrived, all Mechanical Race entities took to the sky with all constructions and resources they could withdraw in a short time.

And the Destruction, directly targeted the core of this planet.

Destroying the core.

The equivalent of eradicating everything on this planet.

When the Insect Race fleet set out, Chen Ming selected fifty valuable star systems, containing seventy-three valuable planets.

Eggs were injected into each of these seventy-three planets.

Ultimately, a total of eight planets where no Insect Race was found were completely destroyed by the Destruction, a number almost totaling one-tenth of the whole.

And all the remaining Insect Race-invaded planets that persisted the Destruction’s cleansing began intense internal monitoring.

Any discovery of Insect Eggs would again summon the Destruction for cleansing.

This is the mode of struggle between Mechanical Race and Insect Race.
