Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

At this time, he was focusing on the buildings of the mechanical spiritual energy creatures transformation facility near the center of this core colony of the Mechanical Race, which had a familiar appearance.

Chen Ming planned to use spiritual energy to forcibly seize the equipment if the Mechanical Race showed any signs of destroying it.

However, the Mechanical Race did not seem to have any direct intentions of destroying the equipment.

But this didn’t mean Chen Ming could easily acquire the equipment.

On the contrary, he had to be even more cautious.

The Mechanical Race had already learned of his intention to seize the equipment from the colony previously attacked by the Phase Giant Beast.

Previously, the Mechanical Race decisively destroyed the equipment, giving Chen Ming no opportunity for acquisition.

As a result, Chen Ming managed to obtain only one-third of the equipment.

This time, there was only one possibility as they didn’t do such a thing.

There is an ambush here.

But what if there’s an ambush?

Chen Ming was confident he could withstand the Mechanical Race’s ambush and take the equipment.

As gaps appeared in the orbital defensive facilities all over the planet, more and more Insect Race cruisers entered within the defensive lines.

The few Insect Race units on the ground finally reached the vicinity of the Mechanical Race’s orbital defense industrial facility clusters and completely destroyed all the ground orbital defense facilities.

The Mechanical Race’s line completely collapsed, and the attempt to destroy the ground Insect Race units using the orbital defense facilities on the space orbit resulted in those facilities being destroyed as well.

The entire planet completely lost air supremacy.

And on the ground, as the mineral source of the mines was occupied by the Insect Race.

The manufacturing chain of Mechanical Heart units was severed, leaving the Mechanical Race relying only on stored materials to desperately produce new Mechanical Race units in a final struggle.

But soon, more and more Insect Race occupied the veins and crawled out from underground.

They cleared out the remaining Mechanical Race units, destroyed the Mechanical Race’s industrial zoning, and occupied their warehouses.

New biomass proliferation gradually appeared in these warehouses.

This was because the Insect Race converted more energy by consuming the refined metals stored in the warehouses.

After the Mechanical Race lost air supremacy, the Insect Nest could now breed in the surface warehouses.

The entire industrial area was falling, and soon the Insect Race would completely annihilate the Mechanical Race units here.

What follows no longer requires Chen Ming’s command.

Or rather, he hardly commanded at all.

He just explained some basic tactics to the Insect Queen, and then relied on the disparity in combat power to crush through.

Regarding the matter he mentioned before the battle about testing his command skills.

He could only say.

Command? What command? Why command when you can crush through?

His Insect Race fleet possessed terrifying strength and logistics, capable of transforming a devoured planet into a massive combat force.

Just crush through, why command?

Of course, Chen Ming was aware of the gap between his Insect Race fleet and the top forces in the Mechanical Race Star Realm.

Moreover, considering his current location in the Mechanical Race Star Realm, even if only at the border, the Mechanical Race could still send reinforcements from other colonies.

Therefore, he was constantly monitoring the situation of the entire star system.

However, at this moment, there wasn’t any unexpected situation occurring in the entire star system.

No ships, no reinforcements, no assistance.

It seemed like the Mechanical Race had abandoned this planet, letting it fend for itself.

Such a situation made Chen Ming extremely vigilant.

He didn’t believe the Mechanical Race had given up here because if they had truly abandoned the place, the Mechanical Race wouldn’t fail to destroy everything, leaving nothing valuable for him.

Just like they did last time.

The current situation is definitely the calm before the storm.

Real danger could arrive at any moment.

At this moment.

The ground had almost completely turned into a scorched earth, interspersed with black and gray-green exteriors belonging to the Mechanical Race’s colonies.

The entire planet had only a small core area in the core colony still resisting.

This was because Chen Ming needed the mechanical spiritual energy creatures transformation facility at this location, so he deliberately refrained from letting the space fleet attack this area.

And even at the last moment, the Mechanical Race still did not destroy the transformation facility.

It’s as if they clearly wrote ”There’s a trap here” on it.

But Chen Ming indeed had to step into it.

To obtain the equipment, he must take necessary risks.

So now the time had come.

Chen Ming’s main body closed his eyes.

His consciousness appeared in the body of a robot aboard an Insect Race cruiser that had just passed through a gap in the orbital defense system.

Still the type of robot based on power armor.

But this time, Chen Ming used a fully formed power armor, integrated with the crystallization of technology and biotechnology: biological power armor, which housed a Dusk core and a miniaturized biomass teleportation engine.

This semi-biological semi-mechanical power armor was enveloped by dense spiritual energy fluctuations belonging to Chen Ming.

Sufficiently disguising his personal presence.

The Insect Race cruiser crashed near the facility.

At the moment of the crash, Chen Ming instantly teleported next to the building using the teleportation engine.

He pressed his hand onto the surface of the facility, while discreetly extending a data cable to seize control of the building.

The entire process took only three seconds.

And at the end of those three seconds, the Mechanical Race launched their counterattack.
