Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

The Insect Race warships, shrouded by vast areas of Black Mist, suddenly activated their biological teleportation engines after navigating for a distance.

They split into several fleets, launching near-suicidal assaults directly into the Mechanical Race Star Realm, targeting several star systems at the border of the Mechanical Race Star Realm simultaneously.

And during the Black Mist prosthetic’s reckless actions.

Chen Ming’s main consciousness was focused on the area that served as his primary target.

The defensive forces in this area were much looser compared to the situation the Black Mist prosthetic was facing during its attack.

After all, this area is not on the border; rather, it’s an area protected and enveloped by the border.

It roughly accounted for one-third of one of the seven Star Zones divided by the Star Gate.

There are more than ninety valuable star systems and about four hundred planets with high development value.

Simply looking at the ratio of valuable star systems and planets, one can see just how affluent this region is.

If it were not for the relatively small size of the Mechanical Race Star Realm and the limited area of this nebula, the Mechanical Race might possess even more resources.

However, soon these rich resources will no longer belong to the Mechanical Race; they will belong to the Insect Race.

This entire Logistics Star Realm of the Mechanical Race is his target.

Although Chen Ming has just roughly estimated.

Currently, his Insect Race fleet can at most simultaneously impact about forty Mechanical Race planets in roughly a dozen star systems.

Qualifies as ”acceptable” at best.

After all, every star system here is important to the Mechanical Race, and every planet plays a crucial role in the Mechanical Race’s logistical support.

Destroying the logistical bases here will undoubtedly diminish the Mechanical Race’s strength significantly.

Even if destruction doesn’t occur, as long as the Mechanical Race is willing to deploy Mother Ships for clearing out the Insect Race, for Chen Ming, it’s a win-win situation.

Not to mention that even on star systems and planets without Mechanical Race presence, the Insect Race can still be deployed.

The Mechanical Race views them as nonviable development resources, but in the eyes of the Insect Race, the planets themselves are resources.

These planets might not even have Mechanical Race defense measures.

As long as the Insect Race burrows a single insect in, what crawls out later might be unimaginable.

After confirming the Black Mist’s side has engaged in battle with the Mechanical Race’s defense forces.

Chen Ming deliberately waited a while, allowing the Mechanical Race to respond and dispatch reinforcements to the border where the Black Mist prosthetics were battling.

Upon receiving news of the Mechanical Race’s second wave of reinforcements arriving from the Black Mist prosthetics’ side.

Chen Ming issued orders to the Insect Queen.

The fleet that had just disappeared from the orbit of the Insect Hive Planet promptly activated the teleportation engines.

Throughout the entire region targeted by Chen Ming, countless teleportation disturbances appeared.

The Insect Race fleet, numbering over two hundred thousand cruisers, directly crossed the border, deepening their incursion into the Mechanical Race Star Realm.

They even scattered into dozens of smaller fleets, striking different star systems.

This strategy could result in Chen Ming losing another twenty-something thousand cruisers.

But anyway, his goal has always been not to win but to break through the Mechanical Race’s defenses, sending the Insect Race to their planets. As long as they make it, the losses become inconsequential.

Of course, this tactic is only used now when attacking border planets.

If Chen Ming dared to teleport into the truly deep regions of the Mechanical Race Star Realm, targeting their most critical star systems.

His Insect Race might not even reach the planets, let alone inflict substantial damage on the Mother Ships.

However, at least this practically suicidal tactic works well near the border regions.

Even after dispersing combat strength, many Insect Race fleets being eradicated in space.

Yet this dispersed attack approach caused the Mechanical Race’s defense forces in the Logistics Star Zone to respond somewhat untimely.

Several planets have already had their orbital defense facilities breached.

At the moment the Insect Race landed on the planets where orbital defenses were breached.

In a sudden explosion of Black Mist, several Forbidden Guard Insect Races emerged, shrouded entirely by dense Black Mist.

The Mechanical Race only managed to catch a glimpse of the Forbidden Guard Insect Races before the surging Black Mist enveloped the environment, providing cover for the Insect Race units to dig underground.

Even though the Mechanical Race had urgently deployed units like Demon Kings on many planets using the cruiser’s teleportation ability hours after Chen Ming’s previous disruptions.

They had also modified part of the orbital defense facilities’ functionality, specifically dedicating some facilities to internal defense.

All just to prevent the complications arising from the Insect Race burrowing underground after landing.

But these firepowers could not directly penetrate the multi-layered Black Mist defenses.

The overwhelming Black Mist resembled a massive, dark parasite, injecting its eggs into the Mechanical Race planets.

The Mechanical Race was indeed trying desperately, but under Chen Ming’s rapid strikes within merely hours, they still failed to fully protect themselves.

As long as even a single insect manages to burrow deep enough under Black Mist cover, where the Mechanical Race can’t yet handle it, the few Forbidden Guard Insect Races will quickly vanish from the spot, appearing on a new battlefield.

Continuing to shield the next batch of Insect Race, breaching the Mechanical Race planet’s defenses, digging underground.

While limitations in Black Mist Spiritual Energy Essence limited the quantity of Black Mist Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve, totaling only seven, and Black Mist Forbidden Guard Insect Races totaling only seven.

Including the Mind Forbidden Guard Insect Races created from leftover fragments of Mind Enlightenment Nerve by Chen Ming, adding up to merely twelve.

At most, they could simultaneously oversee protective tasks at three Insect Race landing sites.

Nonetheless, after Chen Ming and the Insect Queen uniquely adjusted the attack pace on different star systems, these Forbidden Guard Insect Races were sufficient.

Their combat power was enough to safeguard the Insect Race units in achieving their objectives.

And as long as the Insect Eggs could be deployed to the depths of the Mechanical Race planets, the rest could be entrusted to the Insect Queen, leaving Chen Ming free from worry.

However, surprises often come faster than tomorrow.

Not to mention that it isn’t even tomorrow yet.

On the battlefield where the first arriving Forbidden Guard Insect Race had almost concluded combat, a sound suddenly resonated as though submerged in the deep sea.

”Phase Giant Beast?”
