Chapter 243: Chapter 105: Simple Test, Permit to Go Out_2

After Chen Ming finished speaking, Brilliant here also received a reply from a farther place, confirming Dusk’s attitude in the reply.

Brilliant directly rejected Chen Ming’s idea, saying: ”Mr. Chen, please try to ensure your efficiency in daily work and study first. Our periodic review of you will not be delayed.”

However, although Brilliant rejected it, he also sent Chen Ming’s request back again.

Chen Ming apparently wouldn’t give up easily, and continued to try: ”You should be able to see my work efficiency, right? I can complete most of the work in just five minutes, and I believe I have invested enough time in studying.”

”So, you’re saying that as long as I ensure passing the monthly review, I have the freedom to do so?”

Brilliant hesitated for half a second, received the reply again, and said: ”Yes, it requires an excellent or above review result, and only your spaceship can navigate the planet.”

Chen Ming felt somewhat excited in his heart, but did not show it.

Gaining the first step permission to go out could be considered successful.

Moreover, it was not surprising to Chen Ming that Brilliant would relent, after all, the last time it refused Chen Ming’s outing was just because of an asteroid fall, not a strict ban.

It’s just that Chen Ming always felt something strange during this bargaining process.

But this was not the point. The point was that as long as Chen Ming completed an excellent-level review, his Iron Ore No. could go out and navigate freely on Dusk’s Colony planet.

Although it would certainly be under Dusk’s surveillance, at least the first step was taken.

”Then let’s start now, those books you gave me, I’ve mastered them all.”

Brilliant was not surprised by Chen Ming’s current request for a review. It simply said: ”Mr. Chen, shortening the assessment cycle for you may not be a good choice.”

”I know,”

Chen Ming’s answer made Brilliant immediately send a document over, saying: ”Complete it, and we will soon give you an evaluation.”

Chen Ming nodded, opened the document, and while reading the content, he suddenly realized what the strange feeling he had just noticed was.

But he couldn’t change anything now, so he quietly began writing the review test, which was almost identical to one he had written countless times before.

Chen Ming had already fully mastered the knowledge from the books given by Dusk, like filling out the content directly from the answers.

He didn’t spend much time on the entire process.

Brilliant received the fully completed document that Chen Ming sent over.

According to Dusk’s computational power, Chen Ming felt he should get the result immediately.

However, Brilliant didn’t directly give Chen Ming a reply about the result, but told him to continue with the subsequent practical operation phase.

The practical operation required Chen Ming to perform specialized transformations on several standard weapons, including [Extended Energy Flow Track], [Streaming Coil], and [Parallel Flow Track].

Just as Chen Ming was writing the test, Brilliant had already delivered the weapons needed for practical testing to the factory.

Three weapons, two small and one medium, were piled up in the working area of the factory.

However, Chen Ming didn’t want to transform all three honestly, although there were mechanical devices, three machines would still require quite a bit of time.

So Chen Ming tried to say: ”I should have mentioned before, right? My transformation ability can only modify with knowledge I have in my mind.”

Brilliant replied very understandingly: ”Yes, but in the actual test, we still want to see your ability to get hands-on, you can choose to personally modify one, and use your ability for the other two.”

”Okay.”

Only needing to transform one weapon made things easier.

Chen Ming controlled the factory’s machinery and quickly began the transformation work on one of the small weapons, while casually tossing the other two weapons onto Refraction, instantly completing the transformation that Chen Ming had already thoroughly mastered.

Then, with the fastest efficiency Chen Ming could achieve, relying on the factory’s equipment, he completed the remaining tasks.

Brilliant suddenly asked: ”Mr. Chen, have you ever learned our technology before?”

”No, but what you provided was very basic knowledge, it’s not too difficult to learn.”

Chen Ming’s reason made it hard for Brilliant to evaluate.

It sounded reasonable.

After all, mastering simple knowledge indeed did not require spending too much time.

But Brilliant gave Chen Ming more than ten books, with several hundred pages in total, and it wasn’t because they were simple that they could be fully learned and mastered in just two days.

Even performing practical operations with such proficiency.

Even Brilliant himself, when it was Gamma Level, found it hard to match Chen Ming’s learning speed.

So it immediately made a note in the daily report of Chen Ming that it had to submit every day.

Nothing else changed, except it changed one line from ”Learning Efficiency Estimated: High” to an estimation that Chen Ming had at least a nearly Beta Level core learning ability.

And it added an extra line at the end of the report.

”Next cycle may attempt to accelerate the learning process.”

After finishing this task, Brilliant immediately said to Chen Ming: ”Mr. Chen, you can now navigate freely on the planet, but as you said yourself, only your spaceship can navigate freely on the planet.”

”The next review will still be conducted in a month, here are the books you need to learn and master next.”
