Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 233: Chapter 102: Dusk’s Probe, Terrifying Learning Efficiency_4

Is the radiation energy and shield of Dusk also weak?

Chen Ming suddenly felt doubtful because he remembered Dusk’s shield being quite good.

No, it seems good compared to the military.

But for military ships, Chen Ming can only say that the shield seems nonexistent.

And he always has this feeling that military ships might be stronger if they dismantled the shield.

Chen Ming shook his head, dismissing the strange thoughts about military ships.

Since Dusk wants Chen Ming to learn in this area, it must mean he needs to improve in this regard.

Chen Ming’s energy is limited; it’s impossible for him to learn the entire design of the Dusk Spaceship in a short time.

Dusk must have arranged things in this area by sections and prioritized them.

And what’s decisive for the abilities of a spaceship is its weaknesses, so Dusk definitely needs reinforcement in its weak spots.

It must truly be that the weapons and general shield of the lower-level Dusk spacecraft are somewhat weak.

Chen Ming silently took note of these two points in his heart.

Maybe it’ll come in handy in future fights with Dusk, or when he starts forming his fleet, it can serve as a reference for fleet composition.

Chen Ming swiftly gathered his scattered thoughts.

And began maintaining various weapons piled up in the spaceship’s storage compartment.

Meanwhile, materials in the adjacent warehouse began to melt, converging into a large pool of mixed colored liquid, seeping into Iron Ore No., entirely covering the weapons in the storage compartment.

Then, illogically, they directly repaired all those weapons, even ones with considerable damage, back to brand new production level.

Chen Ming was very curious about what the Dusk AI was thinking while watching this scene.

However, he could only hear Brilliant’s unemotional voice: ”Can you show me the effects of your transformation ability additionally?”

Chen Ming thought for a moment and agreed.

Fortunately, in the book he read about weapon technology yesterday, there was a technique for modifying energy weapons.

Chen Ming could directly choose a relatively simple and universal transformation, named [Extended Energy Diversion Rail].

As for the weapon to be transformed, Chen Ming decided to directly work on a very special weapon he had found among a pile of different models.

A weapon named Antimatter Shock Wave that launches Binding Energy Bullets.

Seeing the name, Chen Ming felt it was a good thing.

Because if he remembered correctly, Death God Torpedo seems to be made from antimatter.

Seizing the transformation opportunity to fiddle with the weapon, making it difficult for Dusk to treat this object like a normal weapon, thus facilitating Chen Ming in keeping the item.

The transformation also does not require much time from Chen Ming.

Once a mass of metallic liquid enveloped the Antimatter Shock Wave, the transformation was complete.

No external changes were noticed, but indeed, some internal variations had occurred within the weapon.

Brilliant paused for a moment, aware that it couldn’t directly see anything through the weapon’s exterior, and thus said: ”Please place these weapons in the warehouse, and a dedicated cargo robot will transport them tomorrow.”

Chen Ming then bluntly said: ”I want to keep one weapon for research and experimentation.”

”Which one?”

”The one I just transformed.”

”You may.”

After Brilliant gave Chen Ming an affirmative response, it immediately disconnected the communication.

Leaving Chen Ming alone in the factory to continue his remaining work and study.

Meanwhile, within Brilliant’s Alpha AI Core, a report was instantly generated.

”Adaptability assessment, extremely high.”

”Learning efficiency assessment, high.”

”Risk assessment, no change.”

”Ability verification, weapon maintenance and transformation abilities have been preliminarily validated.”

”Transformation ability’s effect is roughly within expectations.”

”Maintenance ability’s effect can replenish consumed weapon bullets.”

”Other abilities await further verification.”

Aside from these validations of Chen Ming’s abilities, Brilliant unexpectedly added one more line at the end of the report.

”Learning enthusiasm, extremely high.”
