Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 216: Chapter 98 Legion 14_3

”Unless their outpost is attacked by Dusk like before, other places can immediately bypass the approval process and directly move a cruiser.”

”But previously Dusk didn’t come, so they used this method.”

The director finished explaining and then said in confusion, ”I really can’t understand how they managed to do this kind of thing.”

”And they seem to have been in a rut for too long, unwilling to even learn about information outside the Star Zone, their minds are already problematic.”

”They dare to provoke those coming from there.”

The director who had just questioned the chairman said, ”Are you referring to that traitor who destroyed the ship of the person coming from there?”

”Yes, that’s why I said their minds are problematic, they provoked someone they shouldn’t have.”

”Therefore, the Star Zone Military will definitely undergo a major personnel change after this, which is our best opportunity to retake the Space Station.”

As the board meeting of Sinda Corporation concluded.

The Star Gate near the colonial planet where the Star Realm Capital is located suddenly activated.

The massive ring structure of the Star Gate lit up with the glow caused by the energy required during activation.

Soon after, at the center of the Star Gate’s ring structure, a membrane resembling a chaotic starry sky appeared.

A few minutes later, a Ruler carrying a fleet of exactly one hundred ships emerged from the Star Gate.

This special Ruler, significantly different from ordinary Rulers, did not stop at the Star Realm Capital and directly led the fleet away from the Star System, entering Superspace.

In the center of this Ruler’s command room, a three-dimensional image of a Star System was projected.

The Star System at the center of the projection was a planet filled with volcanoes and unstable geological structures.

This was the Galo-2 Star Zone, where the Pirate Space Station is located, and the military’s main station.

The fleet led by the special Ruler entered the Superspace Channel.

Meanwhile, on the only military colony on this planet, located under an ecological dome protection.

The headquarters of the Star Zone Military.

In the office of the highest commander, an Imperial Major General.

The adjutant, in a neatly pressed uniform, was reporting the situation to the slightly graying Major General behind the desk.

Next to them were two other uniformed personnel, identified by their epaulettes as a Colonel and a Lieutenant Colonel.

The adjutant did not shy from their presence and directly said, ”The Ruler has lost its positioning signal, suspected to be destroyed, and did not report the completion of its mission before losing signal.”

The Major General, with a forehead full of wrinkles, slammed the table and said, ”Impossible! What force in the Edge Star Realm can deploy a fleet capable of destroying a Ruler without any movement? Get me their last communication records.”

The Lieutenant Colonel reminded, ”He went out with loyalists in rebellion, already severed communication with us. We can only use background programs to locate the Ruler’s rough position.”

The Major General immediately realized he misspoke in his urgency but was thankful that everyone in his office was trustworthy.

He slightly adjusted and said, ”Sinda Corporation’s support is quite slow, and we’ve already managed to block Wu An using other relationships, who else can help Chen Ming escape?”

The Lieutenant Colonel suddenly thought of something and asked, ”Could it be Dusk? They have prior offenses.”

”Chen Ming was blocked in Superspace, why would Dusk senselessly go to Superspace?”

The Lieutenant Colonel closed his mouth, not speaking further.

The military was not yet aware of Chen Ming’s Psychic identity, so they completely could not comprehend the sudden disappearance of the Ruler.

With no answer from others, the Major General could only say, ”Find a way to figure out what’s going on, I want an answer.”

The adjutant nodded and asked, ”Where should we start?”

The Major General frowned and looked at the adjutant, saying, ”Two places, one is the outpost over there, the chances that everyone sent to kill Chen Ming is dead are low, the survivors must know something.”

”The other is Sinda Corporation, we could try there. Some people in their ranks have always wanted to build good relations with us, they must also know something.”

The adjutant wrote down the Major General’s words, saluted, and prepared to leave.

The Major General continued to instruct, ”And for the outpost leader, he should be labeled as a traitor. Let the outpost spontaneously recommend a temporary substitute, then we’ll assign someone later.”

”First, we need to confirm if Chen Ming is already dead, the output of Sky Steel must not fall into someone else’s hands.”

Just as the adjutant pushed open the office door.

The Major General suddenly received an urgent communication.

He immediately called the adjutant back and reviewed the content of this communication.

The urgent communication showed that a fleet had appeared in their Star System, having entered from Superspace without approval.

The flagship of this fleet was a Ruler, but its size was suspiciously a third larger than the Rulers that the Star Zone Military also has.

And this Ruler had a distinct orange-yellow paint on its armor, along with a spread-winged eagle emblem and a ”XIV” mark.

”Fourteenth Legion’s insignia? What’s the story with that Ruler? Is it a new model? Why did it enter our jurisdiction without approval?”

A series of questions came out of the Major General’s mouth.

But nobody in the office could give him an answer.

”I have to go handle this.”

The Major General stood up and said to the Lieutenant Colonel, ”Continue to intensify the pursuit of Chen Ming, find a way to maneuver through relations to get other Star Zones to start pursuing him too, put some pressure on Sinda.”
