Chapter 208: Chapter 96 Ruler, Trump Card_3

Even in superspace, solid bullet weapons experience some weakening.

However, the stationmaster controlling the Ruler, after locking the two Storm Needles onto the target, instantly launched a barrage of needles towards the Law Enforcement, shredding its shield almost instantly.

Although the commander’s reaction before the shield was breached prevented the ship from being paralyzed due to radiation overload,

the needles, as thick as a normal person’s arm, still relentlessly punctured the entire Law Enforcement.

Storm Needles, as shield-breaking solid bullet weapons, seemed somewhat insufficient under superspace speed limitations and against the obviously extra-thickened armor of the Law Enforcement.

After piercing the armor, they couldn’t penetrate further and were just lodged between the ship’s body and the armor.

The Law Enforcement barely supported itself after being struck.

From the looks of it, just one more round would completely destroy the Law Enforcement.

But the Ruler evidently didn’t want to choose this method and, during the reloading gap of the Storm Needles, used another weapon—the Gauss Cannon, a weapon that accelerates a large-mass projectile to extremely high speeds.

Although inside superspace all objects have a speed limit, and the Gauss Cannon itself is also a shield-breaking weapon,

this speed limit is still relatively fast compared to normal universe environments.

It’s just that it can’t achieve the optimal balance between mass degradation due to mass illusion effects and speed, yet it can still exert considerable power.

And with the Storm Needles having pre-emptively broken the shield and shattering the Law Enforcement’s armor with its power,

the Gauss Cannon can also deliver a terrifying effect on the ship’s body.

As expected, the first heavy projectile fired by the Ruler’s Gauss Cannon directly cut the entire Law Enforcement in half.

The second projectile fired by another Gauss Cannon passed through, completely pulverizing the remaining halves.

The scene of military forces turning against their own left Chen Ming dumbfounded, silently removing the quotation marks around the words ”rebellion” in his mind regarding the stationmaster’s uprising.

The destruction of the military fleet’s flagship threw the originally repositioning fleet into chaos.

But soon, the Ruler Level regained control of the entire military command system.

After all, this was a fleet provided to the commander by the stationmaster. Even though his trusted aides had all been sent away, forcibly taking over with the Ruler’s equipment wasn’t too difficult.

However, regaining control is one thing; making the military fleet obey his orders again has its challenges.

For instance, how could he make the fleet ignore the fact that the commander had clearly stated the stationmaster initiated a rebellion and had documents with dual authentication from the Star Realm military and government, and still obey him?

As for this plan, the stationmaster already had a draft in his mind.

As long as he dared to lower his bottom line, then it was actually quite simple.

There are always some in the fleet who are afraid of death or don’t want to die easily.

The recent battle with the company fleet presented a hope of victory, making them willing to risk it in battle.

But if a conflict were to occur with a Cruiser, the disparity in level would make anyone lose the will to fight.

So the stationmaster immediately chose to destroy the flagship, using it as a cautionary tale to warn any other ships that dared to resist him.

As long as they weren’t fools, they would make the rational choice.

The ultimate effect of this was uncertain.

It’s hard to say how many would follow his orders under the threat of death.

But the stationmaster didn’t actually need too many ships to follow his command.

His primary goal this time was still to kill Chen Ming.

However, in superspace, heavy Cruisers found it difficult to catch up with a normal Frigate or Destroyer.

Even with a Teleportation Engine, its use is limited.

Currently, after jumping here directly from the military outpost, the Teleportation Engine can only be used one last time in a certain timeframe.

If something unexpected occurred mid-way allowing Chen Ming to escape the attack range, the Ruler would have no chance to catch up with a Frigate again.

Thus, the stationmaster must find a way to restrict Chen Ming’s movements.

Reclaiming control of the military and using their ships was the best solution.

With just three or four ships helping to restrict Chen Ming, the next teleportation would be Chen Ming’s doom.

After destroying the flagship where the commander was located,

the stationmaster immediately regained command of the entire fleet and ordered them to act according to his instructions.

But as he anticipated, the vast majority of military ships refused his order, and even ignored him, scattering in all directions.

Only a small portion remained in place.

The stationmaster, controlling the Ruler, neither pursued the fleeing military ships nor attacked them, merely allowing them to leave.

However, when those who stayed noticed the movement of other ships and attempted to leave as well,

the stationmaster chose to directly destroy those ships with such intentions.

Once aboard the pirate ship, there was no chance for regret.

The stationmaster regrouped the remaining military ships and demanded they surrender top-level control.

He then ordered some ships to track Chen Ming, while the others, alongside the Ruler, pressed towards the company fleet which had already resolved to die in battle.
