After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2192: Chapter 2196: Take Care of It Right Here

How could Xu Xia have known that Leng Zirui had already made arrangements and was prepared to send her away.

She only thought he had something to attend to outside, so she just turned her face away indifferently.

Leng Zirui chuckled, bent down to embrace her, and kissed her by the ear.

”Remember, don’t stray too far, wait for my return!”

As he spoke, his fingers discreetly moved to loosen the knot of the tie on her left hand.

Knowing this girl’s strong rebellious spirit, if he told her to behave, she would certainly misbehave. Leng Zirui did this on purpose so she could ”escape” on her own. When Ah Jiu arrived, he could just bring her away.

Leng Zirui went through a lot of trouble to let her leave.

Being held by him and hearing his gentle voice in her ear, Xu Xia couldn’t help but feel a little regretful, wishing she hadn’t lost her temper with him earlier.

It wasn’t her first day knowing Leng Zirui; he’s always been like this, but he’s never truly been unfaithful. His behavior with Lei Qingqing was just for the sake of a mission.

Taking a deep breath of her hair’s fragrance, Leng Zirui straightened up and turned to head out the door.

Watching his back, Xu Xia suddenly felt reluctant to part.

”You...”

Leng Zirui turned his face, looking at her with inquiry, ”What’s up, are you hungry? Shall I order breakfast for you?”

He definitely had important work, so how could she waste his time.

”I... what if I need to use the bathroom?” Xu Xia asked with a frown.

”Just solve it on the spot.” Leng Zirui joked.

”You...”

Xu Xia was so angry she gritted her teeth; this guy, how could he joke like this?

”All right then, I’m off now,” Leng Zirui smiled at her and walked out the door.

Xu Xia heard the door close from inside the bedroom, just fuming, ”Leng... ROY, you big jerk!”

She sat up suddenly, and the towel around her left wrist slipped off.

”Huh?!”

She turned her face in puzzlement towards the tie knot on her wrist, only to find it had somehow loosened quite a bit.

”This guy!” Realizing it must be Leng Zirui’s doing, Xu Xia lightly smiled, carefully slipping her hand out of the knot, and stretched comfortably, ”Well, at least you’ve got a conscience, letting me off the hook a bit.”

Stretching her limbs, Xu Xia tried to understand the tie on her other hand and found that the knot was impossible to untie. She decided to not bother and held the extra part in her hand as she went to the bathroom to freshen up.

Leng Zirui checked his watch, promptly knocked on Ah Ke’s door, and instructed him to gather his men to head out with him.

He went downstairs first, sent a text to Ah Jiu, and Ah Ke arrived with two other subordinates to join him.

”Is there any new info?!” Ah Ke asked while adjusting his coat.

”Yes!” Leng Zirui nodded, ”I know where they are, and we must act fast to find them before they relocate.”

Leng Zirui led the way out of the hotel’s main door, his subordinates brought the car over, and they got inside, driving away.

Across the street, Shangguan Feng observed the entrance with his DSLR camera lens, watching Leng Zirui and his people drive away. He quickly put the camera aside and opened the car door.

”Let’s go!”

The assistant and two bodyguards in the car immediately got out with him, crossed the road, and walked into the XX hotel’s lobby.
