After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2179: Chapter 2183: I’ll Feed You

”In such a hurry?” Leng Zirui teased, watching Xu Xia scramble off him in a panic.

With a sidelong glance, Xu Xia noticed the jacket on the sofa and remembered the gun. She immediately dashed over.

She was quick, but Leng Zirui was quicker. Just as her fingers brushed the gun, he reached over and grabbed it away.

Knew it! This little troublemaker wouldn’t be so obedient!

Leng Zirui frowned as he looked at Xu Xia, who was staring at him with a pout. He stuffed the gun into his pocket, stood up, and grabbed her hand. Before Xu Xia could react, he lifted her horizontally.

The next moment, she was thrown onto the large bed in the bedroom.

He pressed down on her, and Xu Xia raised her hand to push him away, but he twisted her wrists behind her head, holding them there.

Pressing her down, Leng Zirui casually took the tie from his pocket and tied her wrists together.

He couldn’t let her do something stupid like ”attempted murder on her husband.”

”Bastard, what are you doing, let me go... I’ll tell you, if you dare touch me...”

Xu Xia struggled with all her might, but Leng Zirui ignored her. He just grabbed her legs, pulled the bed sheet around her like wrapping a dumpling, and tied a tight knot.

Thus, Xu Xia was instantly transformed into Dumpling Xu.

”Don’t worry, I know your vacation isn’t over yet. I won’t really battle you in blood and gore!” Leng Zirui stood up straight and glanced at her wrists. He frowned slightly, turned, entered the bathroom, and took out a towel.

Seeing him approach with a towel, Xu Xia widened her eyes in confusion. ”What are you going to do now?!”

Leng Zirui sat down next to the bed, reached out to take her hand, untied the tie, wrapped her wrists with the towel, and tied the tie again, making sure it wasn’t too tight to hurt or too loose to let her escape. Only then did he stand up again.

He looked Xu Xia up and down once more before leaving and returning with a fruit plate containing sliced apples.

”They’re sweet. Want to try one?”

Xu Xia rolled her eyes.

”Then I’ll feed you!”

Leng Zirui raised his hand, an apple slice in his mouth, bending down towards her, pretending he would feed her mouth-to-mouth.

”No...” Xu Xia growled in refusal, but a cool, slightly sweet slice of apple was already in her mouth, turning her words into a series of ”...mmm...”

”It’s sweet, why not give it a try?”

Xu Xia tried to spit it out but failed, so she had to chew it with her teeth. The apple was crispy and sweet, exactly to her liking, and she ended up swallowing it. After all this fuss, she was indeed a bit hungry.

”Isn’t it sweet? Want some more?”

Leng Zirui sat watching her with a smile.

”No...”

Just as Xu Xia was about to decline, another slice was already in her mouth. She glared at him but ended up eating it.

Food is essential, and she still needed to marry their family’s Zirui. She couldn’t starve here.

He might have tampered with meals, but the apple should be free of drugs, safe to eat.

Xu Xia thought to herself. After finishing the apple in her mouth, she promptly spoke up, ”I want more!”

Leng Zirui chuckled softly, picked an apple slice from the plate, but instead of giving it to her, he held it between his own lips, leaning towards her.

”Ugh!”

Xu Xia turned her head directly away.

”Not willing?” Leng Zirui straightened up, ”Then stay hungry.”

Placing the fruit plate beside her head, Leng Zirui stood up and went into the bathroom, quickly taking a shower before coming out wrapped in a towel.
