After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2160: Chapter 2164: I Like Girls Too

Luo Ke was not Leng Zimo; once he made up his mind about something, it wasn’t something Luo Xiaoqian could easily change.

Considering the fetus, the doctor removed some items from the examination, then added on the part about checking the baby’s gender.

Seeing that the situation was already settled, Luo Xiaoqian didn’t say anything more.

To be honest, the person who was actually the most curious about the truth was her.

Leng Zimo had said before that they already had a son; if this one was a daughter, then they’d have the perfect ”dragon and phoenix” pair!

Lightly caressing her lower belly, Luo Xiaoqian followed Luo Ke into the VIP waiting lounge, feeling a little excited.

A moment later, a nurse pushed in a cart of equipment, drew blood from Luo Xiaoqian for tests, and then led a few of them off for several simple examinations.

”Do you prefer a boy or a girl?” Luo Ke worked hard to look for a topic.

”Of course a girl.” Luo Xiaoqian answered without even thinking.

”Oh?” Luo Ke’s interest was piqued. ”Why?”

”Because...” Luo Xiaoqian smiled. ”Wouldn’t it be great if a girl looked like me?”

She certainly wasn’t going to tell him she wanted both a son and a daughter.

”Of course.” Luo Ke also smiled, imagining a little girl as adorable as her; it actually sounded pretty good. ”I like girls too.”

A girl taking after her would be wonderful; if it were a boy, he’d be like that Luo Jun, only resembling Leng Zimo, and Luo Ke didn’t like that one bit.

Glancing at the sunlight outside, Luo Xiaoqian got up and went to the window, looking out at the view of Rome City.

All her memories of this city from before had vanished; these past few days, what she’d seen most was the sea. Now, looking at this long-missed city, she just found it all so fresh and new.

”Do you want to go out for a walk?” Luo Ke came over and stopped by her side, standing shoulder to shoulder with her as he gazed at the city he knew like the back of his hand. ”Or, do you want to go see Wishing City? That place holds a very special meaning for us.”

”Really?” Luo Xiaoqian pressed her lips together. ”If it weren’t for the headache, I’d really like to go.”

Of course, she wanted to go even now; she just didn’t want to go with him, that was all.

Luo Ke smiled faintly. ”It’s fine, we’ll go Tomorrow then.”

Tomorrow?

”We’re not going back to the island tonight?”

”Flying back and forth is too tiring. I’m worried you won’t be able to handle it. We’ll just stay in Rome tonight.”

”...”

Luo Xiaoqian was at a loss for words.

She couldn’t very well say she wanted to go back to see Leng Zimo, could she?!

There was a soft knock at the door, and the doctor’s assistant walked in with a smile, holding a few sheets of paper in hand.

”How is it?!”

Luo Ke immediately stepped forward to ask, and Luo Xiaoqian, curious as well, walked over, wanting to see what the baby’s gender was.

”All the lab results came back normal; for the specifics, we’ll have to wait for the doctor to review them,” the assistant physician replied with a smile.

”Then... what about the baby’s gender?” Luo Xiaoqian was more concerned about this; after all, the headache was just an act, and she knew there wouldn’t be any real problem.

”This test requires multiple separations of the blood sample, so it takes some time. The results will only be out in two days,” the assistant physician said, raising a hand in an inviting gesture. ”Please come with me to the consulting room first.”

After looking over Luo Xiaoqian’s lab results and examination reports, the doctor also felt that her headaches were nothing serious.

”I think it might be a temporary lack of oxygen to the brain due to insufficient rest these past few days. After all, Miss Luo is currently pregnant. Don’t put too much pressure on her; try to keep her in a happy mood, and in particular, make sure to strengthen her nutrition.”
