After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2189: Chapter 2193: He Slept So Comfortably

Shangguan Feng stared at the hotel building across the street, ”Find a way to save her.”

...

...

Time flew by.

In Rome, a city where ancient splendor coexists with modern civilization, dawn arrived once again.

In the hotel room, on the double bed, Xu Xia, who had fallen asleep early last night and slept comfortably through the night, had naturally woken up by now.

Without opening her eyes, she reached out to stretch but found her right hand couldn’t stretch fully.

Xu Xia opened her eyes in confusion and looked at her right hand, only to see a towel wrapped around her wrist, bound with a tie. That beautiful dark tie with golden patterns was looped around the bedpost, with the other end tied to her left hand.

Next to her head, gentle breaths were heard, and a smooth face was close to her cheek.

She turned her gaze.

She saw Leng Zirui with his eyes closed, lying close to her, breathing evenly, seemingly sleeping soundly. His face was right next to hers, their skin intimately touching.

His face was pressed against hers, one hand used as a pillow under her neck, the other arm draped just below her chest.

Jerk, he tied her up, yet he slept comfortably?

Xu Xia pouted, intending to wake him up, but stopped when she noticed the noticeable dark circles under his eyes.

Dealing with people like Luo Ke and Lei Qingqing every day, he must be very tired. Let him sleep a little longer.

Xu Xia turned to face Leng Zirui before her.

It was the first time she had seen him sleeping like this. She had never really looked at his face seriously before. Previously, she just thought Leng Zimo was exquisitely handsome, with features nearly flawless. Now, she realized this man was not inferior to Leng Zimo at all.

Compared to Leng Zimo, Leng Zirui’s chin was slightly sharper, giving him a bit of a bewitching look, but not feminine. Years of military life had imbued him with an innate aura, different from Leng Zimo’s cold dominance, his was a wild unrestrainedness.

This jerk, turns out he’s so handsome. Why didn’t I notice before?

Her fingers unconsciously lifted, wanting to touch him.

Before she could touch him, Leng Zirui’s brow subtly twitched.

Seeing this, Xu Xia quickly closed her eyes, retracting her fingers, pretending to be ”asleep.”

Opening his eyes, looking at the ”sleeping” Xu Xia before him, Leng Zirui slightly raised an eyebrow.

Strange, just felt her move—was it just his imagination?

Looking at the right hand she placed in front of him, Leng Zirui gently reached out a finger to adjust the towel protecting her wrist and then set his gaze on her face.

The curtains weren’t fully drawn, allowing some sunlight to slip through. In the dim light, her facial features appeared even softer, her makeup-free face was so immaculate it seemed like it could be pinched to produce water. Near her ears, there was a fine layer of soft hair, and his gaze settled on her slightly parted lips, leaving Leng Zirui’s lips dry.

Carefully raising a finger to hold her face, Leng Zirui hesitated for a moment, but still leaned over, giving her lips a light peck.

Scoundrel!

Feeling his kiss, Xu Xia only cursed inwardly.

Of course, despite the curse, she wasn’t truly angry.

Such a gentle kiss didn’t quench his thirst, only made him feel more restless. Leng Zirui hurriedly averted his gaze from her lips, only to catch sight of her shoulder peeking out from under the thin blanket.
