After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2161: Chapter 2165: Mom?!

”Is my baby... healthy?” Luo Xiaoqian asked worriedly.

The doctor returned her a bright smile, ”Don’t be nervous, everything looks normal for now.”

Luo Xiaoqian thanked him politely, and Luo Ke led her out of the consultation room and into the elevator.

...

...

In the parking lot.

Luo Jun stretched lazily on the chair, his eyes looking out the window at the hospital’s sunlit rear garden, a longing expression appearing in his eyes.

”So boring, godmother, why don’t we go out for a walk?”

They had already been waiting in the car for over an hour, and both he and Xu Xia were getting impatient.

”Sure!” Xu Xia reached out and opened the car door, ”Let’s go out and soak up the sun, take a stroll, and maybe see if there are any pretty girls around.”

Outside the car, Ah Jiu and Ah Sang were present. Seeing Xu Xia take Luo Jun out, they knew the wait had become tiresome and didn’t stop them. There was still half an hour left to wait for the results, and once they received them, they could leave immediately.

Xu Xia held Luo Jun’s little hand and led him across the parking lot to the small garden behind the hospital.

In the small garden, there weren’t many people; a little child was playing with a ball, and by accident, the ball rolled to the ground.

Xu Xia tried to stop it with her foot but couldn’t; Luo Jun immediately let go of her hand and chased after the ball, picked up the small leather ball from the lawn, and was about to leave when his gaze caught a very familiar figure.

A slender figure with hair casually draped over her shoulders, from his angle, he could just see her side profile.

That face, he was simply familiar to the extreme.

”Mom?!”

Recognizing Luo Xiaoqian, an unusual glow appeared on Luo Jun’s little face.

Despite being more mature and sensible than other children, Luo Jun was still just a child. Seeing Luo Xiaoqian, his first reaction was to rush over to find her.

Not caring about the soccer ball in his hands, he immediately quickened his pace and ran towards the parking lot.

”Mo Mo!”

”Young master!”

Xu Xia and Ah Jiu, standing on the pathway between the lawns, were shocked as they saw Luo Jun suddenly dash out of the grass onto the lawn, and they quickly chased after him in large strides.

Between the lawn and the parking lot, there were two layers of railings separating them, but Luo Jun was small enough to squeeze through the gaps.

Seeing Luo Xiaoqian bending down to get into the car, even though there was still some distance between them, Luo Jun immediately shouted loudly, ”Mom!”

The door hadn’t closed; hearing the familiar voice and the Chinese, Luo Xiaoqian, who was already sitting inside the car, instinctively turned her face and looked outside through the car window.

She saw, not far away, a little person running rapidly towards her direction. The little boy looked about four or five years old, with rosy lips and white teeth, as if sculpted from jade, wearing a white shirt and suspenders, as elegant as a little Prince.

”Mom!”

Afraid that Luo Xiaoqian might not see him, Luo Jun waved his small hand vigorously and called out to her loudly as he ran.

Luo Ke turned to look at the familiar boy, his gaze sweeping over the people chasing behind, Ah Jiu and the others. Luo Ke simply furrowed his brows.

”Drive!”

The driver accelerated, and the car immediately began moving forward.

”Mom!”

Seeing the car Luo Xiaoqian was in about to leave, Luo Jun became anxious. Suddenly, he stumbled upon the steps and fell directly onto the ground.

Luo Xiaoqian looked at him falling to the ground through the window, and her heart ached sharply.

...

Good night
