After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2159: Chapter 2163: Turning into a Vampire

”Isn’t this unnecessary?” Xu Xia frowned and asked Ah Jiu, ”I only have external injuries, it’s not that serious.”

”Since we’re already at the hospital, we might as well have a thorough check-up.” Ah Jiu replied.

”But...”

Xu Xia was still a bit hesitant. She’s the kind of person who dreads trouble, and the thought of all those tests was making her head spin.

”Those drug users might have some infectious diseases; they bit you, so it’s best to get checked.” Ah Sang reminded.

With those words, Xu Xia suddenly became tense.

No way?!

I’ve heard many drug users have AIDS. Could she... could she have contracted it?

”Alright, give me a thorough check-up. Hepatitis, AIDS... and whatever else, check them all for me.”

”Godmother, what kind of disease is AIDS?” Luo Jun asked curiously beside her.

”Well...” Xu Xia was at a loss for words, ”It’s... rabies.”

Rabies?!

Ah Jiu and Ah Sang exchanged glances, quite worried about their young master’s worldview.

This godmother is simply too unreliable!

The little guy immediately showed a worried expression, ”Oh, then godmother needs a good check-up. I heard that people with that disease turn into vampires.”

The adults were all amused by him, and Xu Xia’s previously tense nerves relaxed quite a bit.

After drawing blood for testing, Xu Xia went for some other necessary exams like EKG and EEG, leaving nothing out.

The test results hadn’t come out yet, afraid the two would get bored waiting, Ah Jiu instructed an assistant to buy some snacks for them to eat while they waited. Meanwhile, he and Ah Sang, among others, conscientiously watched over the two, not daring to relax for a moment.

...

...

The car parked in the lot, and when Luo Xiaoqian stretched her leg to get out, the attending physician had already hung up his mobile phone.

”Sir, everything has been arranged, directly to the VIP room on the sixth floor.”

”Alright.” Luo Ke nodded lightly, ”Sissi, shall we go?”

Luo Xiaoqian, with resignation, could only brace herself to follow him into the hospital building.

Arriving on the sixth floor and entering the VIP consultation room, a doctor and a doctor’s assistant were already waiting for them. After listening to the accompanying doctor explain Luo Xiaoqian’s condition, the attending doctor conducted another preliminary examination and then ordered several necessary tests and checks.

”Doctor, I’m pregnant, will these tests affect my fetus?” Luo Xiaoqian asked the doctor worriedly, in English.

”Pregnant?” The doctor slightly furrowed his brow, ”If that’s the case, then some tests cannot be performed, I will adjust accordingly.”

”Thank you.” Luo Xiaoqian secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

”Doctor, can we check the gender of the fetus?” Luo Ke suddenly asked from the side.

”Of course, determining it takes just a blood test,” the doctor smiled, ”Of course, it’s not 100% certain, the accuracy is around 94%.”

”No need...” Luo Xiaoqian quickly interjected, ”I don’t want to know the gender of the fetus.”

”Why?” Luo Ke asked puzzled, ”You’ve been wanting me to help name it, once we know the gender, we can give it a delicious name.”

”But... I...”

Luo Xiaoqian weighed her reasons internally.

Previously, Leng Zimo had mentioned that it would be a surprise for them.

”Decision made.” Luo Ke interrupted her with a laugh, ”I’m already impatient to help with naming!”
