After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2178: Chapter 2182: Do Not Disturb Me

”Investigate!”

Leng Zirui spat out the words impatiently.

He had expected them not to find Luo Jun. What displeased him was Xu Xia, who hadn’t escaped—silly girl.

The two subordinates agreed and left to investigate the whereabouts of Ah Jiu and the others. Leng Zirui glanced at Xu Xia, who obviously felt relieved, then got into the car. The driver started the engine and asked Leng Zirui,

”Sir, where are we going?”

”To the hotel!”

Leng Zirui replied with a sense of anger, feeling unhappy and having to vent his temper on his subordinates.

The driver, noticing his foul mood, didn’t dare make a sound and silently drove the car onto the highway towards the hotel.

Leaning back into the chair, looking at Xu Xia beside him, Leng Zirui once again fell into deep thought. More than worrying about how to explain things to Luo Ke, he was more troubled by how to let Xu Xia go without letting her notice or allowing people like Luo Ke and Lei Qingqing to discover any flaw. Feeling his gaze, Xu Xia turned her face, glanced at him, and pouted while hugging her arms.

In the front passenger seat, Ah Ke’s phone rang.

After answering the call, Ah Ke immediately handed the phone to Leng Zirui.

”It’s Mr. Luo Ke,”

Luo Ke?!

Hearing the name Luo Ke, Xu Xia immediately perked up, listening intently.

”How is it?” Luo Ke’s voice came through the receiver right away.

”Lei Qingqing interfered, and the kid got away.” Leng Zirui unceremoniously laid the blame on Lei Qingqing, ”But don’t worry, Xu Xia is with me. I’ll find that kid soon.”

”Don’t bring her to the castle.”

”Rest assured.”

Leng Zirui hung up the phone with a slight bow.

There was no need for Luo Ke’s reminder—not only because Luo Ke instructed him not to bring Xu Xia, but even if Luo Ke wanted to see Xu Xia, he wouldn’t want to take her there!

Seeing him hang up, Xu Xia immediately turned her attention to the window, pretending not to care.

In her heart, however, she was quickly pondering.

She knew Luo Xiaoqian was in Luo Ke’s hands and didn’t expect this ROY to also be Luo Ke’s man.

Looking at the reflection of Leng Zirui’s side profile in the car window, Xu Xia once again felt conflicted.

Is he Leng Zirui in disguise as ROY, trying to help Leng Zimo rescue Xiao Qian, or is ROY disguised as Leng Zirui to contact Ah Jiu?!

The car soon arrived at the hotel, and Ah Ke opened the car door. Leng Zirui led Xu Xia to get off as well, hooking her waist with his right hand while the gun inside his jacket was pressed against her side.

”Honey, be good and don’t move, otherwise I’ll paint a big red flower on your little butt!”

He would let her go, but now was not the time. Leng Zirui didn’t want Xu Xia acting impulsively and creating an unmanageable situation.

Xu Xia glared at him fiercely, yet remained obedient without any action.

The four of them walked into the elevator, and no one noticed anything unusual about Leng Zirui. They quickly reached the floor where Leng Zirui was staying.

”Order two servings of Chinese food to my room, and don’t disturb me unless necessary.”

Instructing Ah Ke and the other subordinate with a word, Leng Zirui immediately pulled Xu Xia into the room.

Entering the guest room and locking the door, Leng Zirui turned around and pressed Xu Xia against the door. Before she could react, he leaned in and kissed her cheek.

”Get away!”

Xu Xia realized and immediately pushed him away.

Leng Zirui grabbed her wrist, walked into the living room, tossed his jacket aside, and with a pull, Xu Xia, unsteady, fell into his arms.
