After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2162: Chapter 2166: Do You Like That Child

”Mom!”

In her mind, a milky little voice rang out.

In front of Luo Xiaoqian’s eyes, a tiny little figure also flashed by, a bit smaller than the boy in front of her. He was likewise running across the lawn, waving his little hands.

The little guy had just learned to walk, and he couldn’t even walk properly yet, let alone run, so of course he was especially unsteady.

His foot slipped, and he fell down onto the grass.

...

”Sissi?!”

Luo Ke looked at Luo Xiaoqian’s expression beside him and called her name again.

”Ah...” Luo Xiaoqian came back to herself, only then realizing she was still sitting in the car. The car had already driven out of the hospital and onto the road, and that little boy from just now was gone.

”What were you thinking about?” Luo Ke narrowed his eyes slightly, watching her profile, his gaze full of scrutiny. ”Thinking about that boy just now?!”

There was obvious tension in his tone.

”Don’t you think that boy was really cute?” Luo Xiaoqian stared at the crowds outside the car. ”I was just thinking, if our future baby could be that cute, that would be great.”

That boy had definitely been calling out to her. Could he be her and Zimo’s child, the boy whose formal name was Luo Jun and nickname was Mo Mo?!

Luo Xiaoqian carefully recalled Luo Jun’s appearance just now—those eyebrows, those eyes, that nose... he was practically stamped out of the same mold as Leng Zimo.

He must be!

He definitely must be him!

Thinking that he was her own son, Luo Xiaoqian couldn’t control the excitement swelling in her heart.

Last night, after learning some things about herself from Leng Zimo, Luo Xiaoqian barely slept at all. She kept thinking about what had happened between him and her, and about Luo Jun—what he would be like, whether he looked like him or like her, whether he was very headstrong or very obedient?

Just now, even though it was only for a brief moment, she had seen him clearly; he was even cuter than she had imagined.

”You like that child?” Luo Ke asked.

”Me? No...” Luo Xiaoqian masked her feelings. ”He’s not our kid anyway, I just think he’s really cute, that’s all.”

Luo Ke watched her expression, trying to catch some trace of something in it, but he failed.

If Leng Zimo hadn’t told her about these things, if she didn’t know that Luo Ke wasn’t what he appeared to be, Luo Xiaoqian probably would’ve had a hard time hiding it.

Only, this time, she’d been mentally prepared and thus hid it very well.

Maybe he was just overthinking it.

Just one glance from afar—how could that be enough to trigger her memories of those things?!

Luo Ke leaned back against the seat again, and Luo Jun’s face flashed before his eyes once more, along with Ah Jiu and the others behind him.

The Leng Family Brothers were already dead, so why was this child still here?

Were they planning to join forces with Lei’s to bring him down?!

...

”Call ROY and tell him to meet me at the castle!” Luo Ke ordered in a low voice.

”Yes!” The subordinate sitting in the passenger seat immediately took out his phone to call Leng Zirui.

...

...

On the hospital lawn.

Luo Jun scrambled up from the ground, ignoring the dust on his body and just kept chasing after the car.

But he was still so little, there was no way he could catch up with the car. He could only watch as it drove farther and farther away, until it disappeared.

”Mo Mo!” Xu Xia ran over in a hurry and caught up to him. ”Where are you trying to go?”

”Godmom, I saw Mom. Mom was in the car. Hurry... let’s go after her!”
