After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 649: Chapter 653: Zimo OR Xiao Xiao Qian [2]

”Everything is normal,” Mo Qingping smiled.

”Then can I hear its heartbeat?” Luo Xiaoqian asked curiously from the side.

”Not yet. Based on your menstrual period, you are only six weeks pregnant. You will have to wait about two more weeks to hear the fetal heartbeat. However, we can already see the heart tube pulsating!” She lifted a finger, pointing at the screen, ”Look here, this is the main conduit of the gestational sac, or put simply, it’s equivalent to its heartbeat!”

Leng Zimo helped Luo Xiaoqian up, and the two of them turned to look at the display screen.

As expected, they saw a blood vessel contracting and bouncing on the screen.

Watching the pulsating blood vessel on the screen, Luo Xiaoqian naturally felt an indescribable emotion rise within her, as the maternal instinct within her womanhood rapidly expanded.

If yesterday evening words like ”mother,” ”baby”... were merely vague concepts, now they were completely different.

She had seen the existence of the tiny life; the child was no longer just a word, but a real life existing within her.

A primitive feeling suddenly surged in Luo Xiaoqian’s heart, this child was hers, within her.

She loved him (or her).

”Can you tell if it’s a boy or a girl now?” she asked cautiously.

Mo Qingping laughed, ”Of course not, right now it’s only an embryo, the gestational sac is only about the size of a peanut. Besides, is the gender that important?”

”She’s just too excited,” Leng Zimo explained with a smile.

”Right...” Luo Xiaoqian smiled somewhat sheepishly, ”I’ll love whether it’s a boy or a girl, I’m just curious.”

”That’s very normal, is this your first time being a mother?” Mo Qingping handed a towel to Leng Zimo, ”Help her clean off the lotion, and then we’ll go to the consulting room to talk.”

After printing out the ultrasound screenshot, the three of them went back to the consulting room, where the assistant physician had already brought over Luo Xiaoqian’s other test results. Mo Qingping looked over them carefully.

”Very good, everything is perfectly normal,” she said, standing up with a smile, ”Congratulations to you both, you’ve now been promoted to parents. However, I need to remind both of you that Xiao Qian is still in early pregnancy, so you must pay more attention. I’ve seen the Latin dancing you do on TV, it’s fantastic, but it would be best not to dance for the time being!”

”I understand,” Luo Xiaoqian immediately nodded, ”Is there anything else I need to be aware of? I... it’s my first time, and I don’t quite understand.”

”Don’t be nervous, you still have me. I’ve already looked up the information, and everything you need to know is here,” Leng Zimo said with a smile, lifting his head slightly.

”This kid, always so cool and quiet since he was little, who knew that now, with a loved one, he would be just like Mr. Leng, so caring. Xiao Qian, you don’t need to be too nervous. Your current condition doesn’t require too much caution, just ensure you strengthen your nutrition appropriately. I’ve already prescribed the necessary folic acid and similar medications for you; remember to take them on time. Additionally...” Mo Qingping smiled as she glanced at the couple, ”Since it’s early pregnancy, for the baby’s sake, it’s best to be a little more careful with marital relations.”

Leng Zimo laughed, but Luo Xiaoqian’s face turned instantly red as fire.

”Alright,” Mo Qingping said as she handed the medication on the table to him, ”If there are no other abnormal conditions, just come back to create a medical record and get a pregnancy check-up when you’re three months pregnant.”
